I liked how the feathers came out in the Kelenken and the colours on the Amarga. The Dracorex one, that's probably the most scales I've done at one go. Really hope to try more new stuff out this year. Allons-y!

Hi I don't know anything about dinosaurs but I adore ur art so very much. Genuinely my favorite artists.

As such, I would like to make a non-high five related request. If you could, grab whatever dinosaur is known for headbutting and have it headbutt you. See it's funny because it's a like a goat, and goats headbutt things they like. And it likes you so its headbutting- ok look they can't all be winners

I have chosen a Dracorex cause I like their name. Ive been headbutted by many a goat and I do like their little pathetic headbutts where they just kinda bring their head down and push. Im really glad that you like my art so much!! I know I say this just about every time, but it does mean a lot to me to hear people say this c:

Who: Dracorex hogwartsia

name meaning: "Dragon king" "Hogwarts"

pronunciation: Drake-oh-rex Hog-warts-ee-ah

What: A pachycephalosaurid

When: Late Cretaceous

Where: South Dakota's Hell Creek Formation

Fun fact!: There is some debate over the placement of Dracorex, whether it represents its own species or if it is merely one of the ontogenetic (growth) stages of Pachycephalosaurus proper. If the later is true, it gives implications of how the dome in pachycephalosaurs is related to age and perhaps mating, only developing for sparring purposes among mating individuals. Research into microfractures and pathological resorption of bone in the domes has already corroborated.

Why are they cool?: Without the wicked name, Dracorex is holds an interesting place in dinosaur debate circles. There are quite a few species, including the very controversial Nanotyrannus that have been argued as seperate species vs. ontogenetic stages. These kinds of discoveries keep things interesting and offer some pretty interesting insights into how these creatures grew and lived.
