Something I love about the drawtectives is that none of them go by their birth name and instead choose their own name that they go by

I vividly remember someone in season 1 (I think it was Rosé) suggesting that the entire murder case in Crescent Hill was a play and Jancy hired actors to pull all of this off.

That was more so based on the fact that no one apart from Lotta seemed distressed about Soren's death and no one was really all that helpful in solving the case. Jancy's response (in my spotty recollection) was something along the lines of "I am very fond of the three of you, but not that fond to go through all that trouble."

I love how in season 3, Jancy did exactly that.

Actually, she is that fond of those three idiots. But it's highly unlikely she'll ever tell them outright xD

Honestly the opportunity for an inside joke the crew missed is just agreeing on trying to get every single NPC conversation at one point or another onto the topic of York recently learning how to read and when he's inevitably asked, York makes up a different backstory every time and it gets increasingly more insane and nonsensical while Grandma and Rosé back him up.

Like what do you mean "York learned how to read after a wild train broke into Jancy's bureau and devoured Rosé's turtle cake with the butt candle (and the paper shredder) and then Norm L. Man arrested a newspaper for trespassing instead of going after the train and the half-orc prince thought that was so punk he started reading newspapers" sounds made-up? Wow. So rude.
