Description: The Drekavac is a creature of southern slavic mythology, described in various ways, such as an undead body, a werewolf or a ghost. Though a legend, mountaineers of Zlatibor claimed to seen the creature in 1992 and 2003.

I was so shocked and pleasantly surprised by Vikram's solution to the drekavac in the premiere of the Next Chapter.

Even while he was talking about the nature of the beast, how it arose from the soul of an unbaptized child, my brain was going "then baptize it!" And when he actually did-- WOW! Best moment in a tv show thus far this year!

Okay, I'm evangelical, not Catholic, but a secular story portraying a Christian ritual as a positive source of power is extremely rare. Just about the only other example that comes to my mind is the Dresden Files; specifically, Knight of the Cross, Michael Carpenter.

Vikram may be brusk and dismissive at times, but it comes with the job. Flynn was equally caught up in himself in the films--and even now, he still doesn't really show a soft side all that much.

There is so much potential and little details and everything and I am going to go CRAZY waiting for the rest of the show!

Hey, so you seem to know a lot about different mythologies. I’m having trouble coming up with an idea for my Teen Wolf dr. I was wondering if you knew a creature that had the following abilities:

Nightmare infliction

Dream manipulation

Hallucination inducement/manipulation

Hypnosis

Memory manipulation

Magic

Okay, this took some time because i thought there's a thing in Greek mythology that had these exact powers but i couldn't find it

In Greek mythology there's Oneiroi, they have dream related powers

Changelings and fae from Celtic mythology have magic, memory manipulation, hypnosis and hallucination inducement

I couldn't find any other beings that really have those powers

If you need more info on the powers of these beings, let me know and I'll make a pack
