And he's rlly out of character too

And sure that could be the trauma of EVERYTHING that's happened

But I feel like it's more than that

The hexcore is controlling him obviously so maybe we'll see him try to fight against it??

I really hope he does bc I don't think the whole magic arcane Jesus thing is really working for me tbh

OR if he doesn't manage to get free of the hexcore maybe he decides to lean into it by baking himself even more robotic buy powered by hextech or whatever the new equivalent would be

I've also been thinking maybe he'll start upsetting the chem barrens?? But it seems kinda unlikely

The "capacity issue" at the Firelights hideout

Something I absolutely love about the Firelights (and Timebomb) in season 2 is that in episode 2 Scar notes that they soon won't have enough space for all the people coming in, and Ekko doesn't deny it but says he doesn't want to turn anyone away. They kept letting people in. Admirable.

And you know what this here means??? That when Jinx came in the Firelights hideout before the war I can assure you she slept in Ekko's room and oh boy there canonically wAS ONLY ONE BED

Whenever the sun peaked out from behind the clouds of Velaris, Elain made it a point to go outside and soak in the rays for as long as they were allowed. When she was in her garden, she would stop what she was doing and lay on the ground, letting the heat from the light dance across her skin. Sometimes she would doze off, napping on the soft grass. She never worried of burning because Velaris’ overcast skies were the rule and these moments the exception.

Her dreams beneath the sun were always potently spiced with evidence of Lucien. When she’d fall under the blissful heaviness of sleep, he would be waiting on the other side. In the real world they were far apart, the distance a sore, open wound, stinging with agony whenever they had to look at each other from across a room. Her silence was a prison. A cage she was too afraid to escape. 

But under the veil of her sunbathing naps, he was always close. She would smell him first, the rich aroma of his scent, cinnamon and smoke. She would roll and find him above her. Her palms pressing against his warm, bare chest. His lips trailing along the column of her neck, whispering words that never reached her ears. He was heavy between her legs, and she would wrap her thighs tightly around his hips, holding him to her, knowing that when she opened her eyes she would be alone again. 

In dreams there were no choices. No ability to decide to freeze or move. Nothing that led to anything of consequence. It was only drive and urge. 

Feyre was concerned for her. She frowned at her anytime she left for the garden after she found her in one of her sun soaked dreams. She had shaken her awake, telling her she looked like she was in pain with her fists clenched over her chest and crying out. Feyre guessed it must have been a vision, and Elain fed her the lies she needed to believe it. She didn’t want to tell Feyre the wicked truth of what Lucien did to her in the recesses of her mind. That visiting that place fed a gnawing hunger that in her waking life she denied. That when Elain craved the sun, she really craved so much more.

Holy shit guys I know they started dating like 2 days ago but like I feel like a fukin match maker

this is the second time I’ve shipped two of my closest friends and they’ve gotten together

I’ve dropped hints that I think they’d be cute together and they get together.

In all seriousness I’m like super happy they’re together. Sure, history might repeat itself and it’s kinda scaring me about the outcome on my end but like holy guacamole they’re so cute. I can survive whatever life throws at me as long as they stay together
