[Maki] Whatever this thing may be, Ryoma is right. We need to be careful around it as well as anything like it. Afterall, it said itself that it’s not our friend.

[Shuichi] But it also said that it wasn’t our enemy, and even though it stated that it was, “unable to help us in any significant manner,” it still might be able to help us somehow. We should try our best to keep it and others like it on our side.

ik that in halo sangheili dont raise their own children. however. thel would be soooo good with kids. hes patient and kind n even though im not one of his kind, he'd never let anyone treat me differently. he'd make sure i know to honor myself n the land an people around me, n whenever he has to be a diplomat or is busy, he reminds me that he'll always come back. customary attempts at assassination have NOTHING on the arbiter who took down an intergalactic cult!! i think id call him thel or arby, n he'd call me youngling or little one. maybe little human but i dont see myself as particularly humanoid so that ones iffy. but little one and youngling for sure <3

ok. so. brant's a new addition... but i wanna like. shake him like a ragdoll I LOVE HIM SO MUCH?? hes good for when im feelin adventureous! we go on walks together and he'll carry me on his shoulders or on his hip. we dance around to music he knows and will sing me, n he does funny tricks to cheer me up. whenever i fall he doesn't panic, he laughs and asks what happened, so that if i cry, he knows its because im hurt, not because im scared. no matter why m cryin though, he wipes my tears away and gives me a kiss on the forehead, n promisesme that it'll be okay <33 i call him baba or just his name, n he calls me little one, seastar, or any number of show/theatre related nicknames hehe, i think he'd really like showstopper n little light or little star... hwafhehah<33

akechi ( p5 ) 🐚 um. complicated. but cg/babysitter ?

so. unfortunately this one's kinda hard to explain ,, one of my partners who ive been datin since like. 2021 is an akechi fictive. so in that sense, akechi is very much a romantic f/o to me caus i look at him and i go "omg that's my trickfriend !!!" but also i love the theory of akechi an futaba being half siblings and i kin futaba so. um. do you see why. yea. yeah ok. so im gonna give this guy two (2!!!) sections to explain both dynamics. he's special. god's specialist little dammit doll. he would probably stab me for saying that okay HAFHWEHAFH

when i AM in a futaba kinshift, akechi s very. tired older brother who doesnt wanna deal with his little sister but also would yell at ppl for hurting her. those vibes, yknow? akira probably convinced him to take care of me for the day, n once we warm up to each other, i can talk his ear off about video game mechanics n he tells me about mystery novels he's read. we might watch tv or maybe read together. he never forces me to leave the house/leblanc if i dont wanna, but he does make sure i eat n goads me into trying new things, even if i dont realize he's doing it. if i get overwhelmed or upset, he's the first to drag me out of the situation and get me a comfort item and coach my breathing until m calm again. i dont think wed use any cute names for each other, but i might end up calling him kechi or bird boy hehe

2 — where do you get your fic ideas?

99% of the time, i daydream about like. one hyperspecific interaction or concept and build a whole story around it. i think the idea for sleep awake came from frustration of the wasted potential from drv3 chapter 3, where i thought it would be so so interesting to have two different killers but only one blackened, so the cast had to live with the second killer. and then i thought, okay, how would that work? i knew it would be a reader insert because that's been the only way i can write fanfic since like. 2016. and kiyo made a lot of sense to me. and the whole entire plot was born out of that . but yeah, usually a concept just comes to me and i build everything around that !

12 — do you outline your fics? if yes, how detailed are your outlines?  how far do you stray from them?

my short fics, no. longer fics like sleep awake, definitely i try to. sleep awake i outline chapter by chapter, but i have stuff like the ending and major character deaths figured out from the jump. it's like i have all the major stuff that happens, so most of my outlining is just filling in the gaps between that, working out what i need to include to make it work, foreshadowing, etc.

General HCs

Kiyo is definitely a makeup guru. He’s studied a lot of cosmetic practices in other cultures and has notebooks full of tips.

He even considered being an “Ultimate Cosmetologist” once he learned all he could about the “beauty” of humanity.

He owns different colored masks, though he prefers his black ones just so they don’t attract unwanted attention.

Sometimes he’ll tell Kaito spooky stories (or just mention some when he knows he’s around) just to scare the astronaut out of his wits.

Tends to info-dump a lot about stories behind mythical creatures, artifacts, etc. (like when he was telling Shuichi all about seances in his FTEs).

Himiko likes his stories on mythical animals.

He’s been on several trips with Rantaro. 

They def bring back souvenirs for each other.

His dorm room has a lot of books and decorations hung up on the walls. Ask him about any of them and he’ll be the happiest person in the academy.

If you give him any of his favored/liked gifts, he’ll tell you all about them in great detail and then proudly display them in his lab or dorm.

Didn’t care for the Danganronpa series too much.

Tho he’s secretly a Gundham kinnie.

He took inspiration from his bandaged arm and decided to bandage his hands.

Also took an interest in magic circles, frequently doodling them in the back of the classroom or during his free time.

His sister was always in the hospital, so he never got to see her as much as he’d like.

But their relationship was healthy and non-incestuous.

Was bullied in school due to his long hair, mask, and creepy aura.

And rumors of him being a serial killer were widespread simply bc he gave off those vibes.

But he never told anyone, not even his sister, bc he didn’t want to burden anyone.

Tends to ramble (like his DRV3-self) but he’ll stop and apologize, worried he’s annoying the other person.

When his sister passed, he became depressed, reclusive, and bullied even more. He tried rituals to commune with her spirit..but, of course, they all failed.

So he auditioned for Danganronpa as an escape--and in hopes he might join his sister in the afterlife.

What are some things to remember?

Anyone is welcome. You are welcome to speak to characters as yourself, your persona, your OCs, as Danganronpa/Fanganronpa characters, and so on. Some characters may be confused if they speak to a version of "themselves," but are unlikely to be opposed to the interaction itself. It should be noted, however, that characters will not be able to see "you." To them, you appear as a small, floating, glowing orb that is the same colour as your blog's main theme or the colour that you sign your message off with.

Don't forget to specify who you are talking to. If you do not specify who you are addressing your question to and your post does not make it obvious who you intended the message to be for, then the moderator will have a random character reply. You can address multiple characters in the same ask if you wish, or even specify that you do not mind who responds.

This blog is based on canon but is not canon itself. All interactions are based off characters’ canonical personalities from Danganronpa V3: Reimagined but are not canonical to the story.

Questions will be answered according to a schedule. What can characters do?

Characters can interact with users. They can interact audibly (through speech) and to a limited extent visually (through sight) and tangibly (through touch). Generally, they will opt to answer requests and questions verbally, but users can, if they wish, show or present characters with items for them to interact with, as long as this does not break immersion. A character does not have to be alive in the canonical story for you to interact with them, meaning that users can ask questions to the "ghosts" of the characters.

Characters can answer questions presented by users. They can answer questions about their emotions, experiences, feelings, opinions, preferences, thoughts, and otherwise, regarding in-game concepts and events, as well as trivial real-world concepts, such as their likes and dislikes for food, games, and more. Characters will be able to talk about events in the story at least one week after they have been available publicly, and posts will note if they contain any spoilers for events that have already occurred.

Characters can remember users, within the setting of this blog only. If a user regularly signs off an anonymous ask with an alias, name, nickname or username; or regularly uses their main account to ask a question (meaning that their username is visible); characters may remember them in the future. Depending on how a user acts towards a character, a positive or negative opinion will be formed, which may in turn impact how the character replies.

What can characters not do?

Characters cannot break the fourth wall. Questions such as, “Do you know that you are a character video game?” “Do you know that everything you are experiencing is being written by someone?” and “Do you know that you are not real?” will be ignored. They also cannot comment on current real-world events. This prevents immersion from being broken.

Characters cannot comment on their identity. Questions such as, “What is your gender?” “What is your sexual orientation?” and “What is your romantic orientation?” will be ignored. This allows users to use their own pre-existing headcanons from Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony or create new headcanons specifically for Danganronpa V3: Reimagined, regarding a character’s identity. Characters' ages, birthdays, preferred name/names, and preferred pronouns are specified in the list below the guidelines.

Characters cannot, with certainty, comment on events that have not yet occurred. Questions such as, “Are you planning to kill someone?” “Are you the mastermind?” and “Who is going to kill you?” will be met with confusion and denial. Questions such as, “Who is the mastermind?” “Who will be the next killer?” and “Who will be the next victim?” will be met with refusal to answer or mere speculation. Honestly probably the only one on this list that’s hesitant about playing.

Especially because he’s dating an angel.

But then Kokichi brings it up around you guys and oh no you’re curious now you guys have to since he also has a deck with him.

He’s embarrassed the whole time through, especially when he gets the raunchier or more offensive card choices.

You actually don’t seem too bothered by it, the golden effects on your outfit and body glowing with delight as you just see everyone having a fun time.

“I don’t quite appreciate offensive or dark humor--but as long as everyone is happy, I feel that is what matters,” you say, after he questions if you had fun.

Rantaro Amami

“Are you sure you wanna play this, S/O?”

Of course he doesn’t mind, he actually finds this game pretty fun, himself.

When you insist on enjoying a nice round of CAH with him and his sisters, he just shrugs, warning you that it can get pretty nasty.

He wasn’t wrong, although it was pretty adorable seeing you scrunch your face up at some of the cards, and your wings seemed to cringe with you at some of the answers.

He laughs a bit apologetically, petting you on the head, “Eh, you’re fine. It’s not for everyone, anyway.”

You guys played some more family-friendly games later on when you were relaxing at home. You seemed to enjoy those much more.

How did Kokichi even score an angel anyway-? ...well, that’s not the point of today’s story. When he suggests the game to you, you take its name quite literally.

“Cards to fight against humanity..? Why would you want to do that?”

There are many reasons to want to fight humanity, innocent S/O. But he just laughs at your confusion, petting you and saying you’re so adorable.

He plays a round with you and...plays around with you, making dirty jokes along with the cards. It embarrasses you.

Has the most fun out of the two of you, since this game is one of his favorites. You don’t seem to understand the appeal of it, but you are a literal angel, so..

“Gee, S/O. For you to find not even one joke funny...you must have some sort of intellectual angel humor I don’t get!” “No, I just...don’t like sexual humor.”

Kaito Momota

It’s not his favorite game but he enjoys it anyway.

When Kokichi challenges him to a round, you somehow get roped into it. It was kinda annoying but Kaito gave you the puppy eyes and then you knew you had to.

Although the game itself was...eh, you didn’t care much for it, you smiled everytime Kaito got excited that he beat Kokichi at a round or something.

You may or may not have picked his cards every time you were the Czar because you adored his happiness. Even if the jokes went over your head or weren’t funny to you.

Kokichi knew you had a bias for your boyfriend, but he just gave you a knowing smirk every time you were the Czar.

Since Kaito won, he ended up asking you to play this game more with him, since before he always lost.

God help you.

Korekiyo Shinguuji

You’d think Kiyo would be pretty apprehensive about this game, since it didn’t seem to fit his personality or sense of humor.

....and you were right, but Miu pressured you into giving it a try, and then he decided to play to monitor you.

It was a rather short game, Kiyo was unintentionally rushing everyone to finish so that you both could do something more productive.

Both of you were unamused for different reasons, but, he had to admit, your reactions to some of the card combinations were interesting.

“I didn’t know you could make such a disgusted face, S/O.”

“Toilet humor is not one of the peaks of humanity for me, dearest Korekiyo.”

Well, he sees where you’re coming from. Albeit, even the more disgusting side of humor is strangely beautiful.

Though when he voiced that to you after getting over his mild annoyance, you gave him a strange look that made him laugh softly.

Kiibo

Kiibo was just like you when you both were asked about playing CAH.

The resemblance in your reactions being innocent ignorance.

But you both ended up playing it anyway, because your friends were being mildly pushy about it, so you both played to shut them up.

Although you both got some of the jokes, the majority of them were lost to the void of misunderstanding and innocence.

To be honest, it was probably the cutest game of CAH in existence thanks to you both. How this game could be cute was a mystery to all who played.

Maybe it was because of how politely you both acted during it though.

He got the game as a gift for Christmas last year and didn’t even touch it. He honestly forgot about it until you found it whilst helping him clean his room.

“Oh, that. I...uh, forgot I even had that,” he gently takes the box from your hands, staring at it.

“...Apparently it is a card game. Do you want to play it, Ryoma?”

Well, it’s better than letting it collect dust or anything.

Although Ryoma actually seemed bored of the game, since apart from a few occasional chuckles, he didn’t do much of anything.

You didn’t really find it entertaining either, so you stopped the game early in favor of doing something more productive and/or fun.

You both just ended up finishing cleaning the house and napping with the cats afterwards.

Miu Iruma

How did Miu score an angel as a partner--okay, well, this is about a game, so let’s move on from that for now.

She apparently really loves this game, and is extremely happy that you wouldn’t mind playing with her.

Perhaps you just tune out the dirtiness of this game, or Miu’s own kind of raunchy and inappropriate style has made you used to it.

Either way, you don’t seem to mind the game much, and just enjoy the fact she’s having fun laughing her b u t t off.

Although she does comment that you’re making it a bit boring by not doing much of anything.
