Goodbye Wii U and goodbye DS servers

You gave us so much, Nintendo was my childhood.

They're slowly shutting down servers.

Ultra sun and moon are closed as of 8:30 Splatoon closes in 20 minutes.

I don't know much of others.

Nintendo has been a large part of my childhood

Especially the Wii, Wii U, and Nintendo DS's particular the DSi models.

Thank you for my childhood, Wii, Wii u, and ds, Nintendo should have done smth to celebrate the end of the servers.

I will miss Splatoon 1. I will miss seeing callie and marie tell us the news.

Goodbye to a large part of mine and others childhood.

i remember staying up really late with my friends during a sleepover, trying to stay quiet as to not wake our parents, as we pulled out our DS’s to try and beat eachother at mario kart.

my friend always brought a cartridge for me bc i didn’t own a mario kart game but we had a blast together.

it was the silent way in saying “i love you, friend” that we could never say out loud.

my friends would also play a lot of splatoon when it first came out. i didn’t have a wii u but i was just content to watch. They didn’t believe me but i was genuinely enraptured by them playing and bantering together and me sitting there in the middle just happy to watch.

theres a lot of memories i have from the ds servers.

i love you video games. you help me show how much i love my friends one blue shell at a time 💝

With all the speculation on how Dawnbreaker and MC reunite in the main story update, something that would be really cool to see would be Dr. Zayne himself have the power to bring him to MC and their timeline and connect/unite with Dawnbreaker.

One way could be just the 'possession' of Dr. Zayne by Dawnbreaker, having Dr. Zayne realize the situation that he and MC are in requires a different skillset so he allows Dawnbreaker's abilities and knowledge overtake his own (his alter ego, for lack of a better term), resulting in him literally 'transforming' into Dawnbreaker.

Another way (though probably less likely) could be that MC gets into the situation without Dr. Zayne being able to be there himself, resulting in him reaching through whatever barrier in his mind to Dawnbreaker and summoning his 'other' self to be with her in his stead.

Either way, I feel like this would be a really important element in Zayne's character arc and development in the main story. To have him welcome his own darkness, to have him need it? To have this be the first time he embraces Dawnbreaker and his brutality, wield it rather than shy away from it or fear it. And to overcome this mental obstacle of his for the first time since he turned 12 (that's plagued him with the fear of hurting MC) for the purpose of protecting her feels so poetic and healing to me.

I’m back and I’m just here to say that I’m currently obsessed with Love & Deepspace and decided to make a discord server for it because I need more friends lol!

This is an 18+ server that I made for LADS fans. With that being said, we’re all adults, so it’s pretty laid back and you’re free to do pretty much anything you want as long as it follows server rules and Discord’s TOS.

This is a community made for everyone, so we have a place for writing prompts, art and commissions, and other content, as well as some activities to keep the server active, and the members involved.
