Wanted New members for collaboration

The crew working on The Rift Party are looking for new members to join in on the project and bring in their own works and takes into the comic series.

Remember:

You don't have to be a visual artist to join

Must be 16+

Follow all rules

Be willing to work with others, share ideas and help others grow their own ideas

Every member helps out with the comic one way or another

Hello, this is Failure speaking.

Right now we need to make an update/clarification post, regarding the servers associated to this au and project.

We have an age minimum, that minimum was put in place to protect everyone evolved.

We are not trying to gatekeep for no reason however it is important for all members to feel safe, and to help keep ‘viewers’ safe.

Like the minimum for joining the project when we look for new members,

You have to be 16 or older to be in our community spaces.

Dsaf is a MATURE rated game, that means a lot of the contents are typically not allowed in media for pg13.

Think of the games as rated R. Because they are.

This also means that the rift shares that rating. Making it for a primarily late teens (16+) to young adults and older.

As much as we love community and love talking to everyone, there is limits for a reason.

If you don’t consider your own health and safety if you are under the age minimum then consider ours.

We as members are not comfortable talking and interacting with people of the younger age bracket and can often be suffocating when a younger age group is in spaces that are meant for “mature” audiences.

Mature does not refer to your mental capabilities. It refers to your age.

14 and lower is not mature in this use of the word.

We can’t stop you from reading our comic but keep in mind that we can stop you from interacting as it’s apart of the rules to ensure safety for everyone.

Rift shipping post

There are various ships present in DSAF Rift Party, there are also a few banned, it felt important to make these clear beforehand so that no one was surprised by this suddenly for if there is a ship here you are not comfortable with or you wished to join only to find out something you ship is banned. This is not a list of every ship but ships allowed and or contained.

If you have a ship you would like to include that appears on neither the banned nor allowed list it’s likely we didn’t think about it, you can come to us to ask if it is allowed or not.

Ships contained/allowed:

- Davesport

- Stevendavesport

- Peterline

- Ships between characters of different AUs who are not the same person nor would be proship otherwise.

- Harry x Joe

- Harrysport (is allowed but you have to talk to us first)

- DSaF 3 Phone Ships

- Poly ships

Ships Not Allowed and Why:

- Stevenpeter - We know this one not being allowed may be a dealbreaker for some and we are very sorry about that, you can still use AUs as long as they don’t contain it and you can ship it outside of rift as there is nothing particularly wrong with this ship aside from that a few members are uncomfortable with it. It’s totally ok if you ship this make no mistake it simply won’t be in rift to respect the feelings of members not ok with it. We feel bad banning this but for the comfort of all members it will be prohibited.

- Anything with Henry (Miller) - Henry is not only a toxic character and much older than most others, he killed pretty much every character in DSAF. Ships containing Henry especially ships with some of his victims including Dave and Jack are not only not allowed but you will not be allowed to join if you ship this. This should be self explanatory but we did run into issues with this in the past. It does not matter if this is an AU in which it’s ok somehow it is still strictly banned and you are banned by proxy.

- Character x themselves from another AU - Straight up banned we see it as the same as shipping siblings

- Character x Character who they are related to from another AU - This is just incest with extra steps.

- Incest ships such as Peter x Jack etc - We do not support incest. You will not be allowed to join if you do this.

- Pedophilla ships even if they are on the contained list (for instance Davesport but one of the two is a minor will be strictly prohibited) - The same reason and situation as the incest ships.

- Abusive ships/condoning Abuse - obvious reasons

Rift Party Masterpost IG

It seemed like it was necessary that a master post to explain some things about Rift Party in order to clear up stuff.

What is rift party?

Rift party is a multi creator DSAF collaborative multiverse project started by Failure in which characters from all different AUs are dragged into a world known as the rift for unknown purposes by a mysterious individual and are forced to deal with both the environment, eachother, and any new threats on the horizon.

The server

Rift party has a server on a knockoff discord site called Guilded. It’s easy to join and you don’t even need to download the app. You can join this server as a participant or a viewer though the process is different. Viewers will just say why they want to join the server the process for participants will be elaborated on in the next section.

Can I join?

Yes you can, rift party is always open to new participants as long as you follow general guidelines of mostly just being civil to other members of the rift.
