hello i don't know if your request are open or not.
If so, then can i request a brave police x bot reader.
Duke x fem bot reader, and reader is made for military stuff, and she found it hard to express herself, like those stoic characters.
how they meet is up to you. ;)
i would like it if it is a romantic and fluff.
You ask and you get! Here you go! Enjoy!
🛡️ Stoic 🗡️ | Duke x Fem!Military!BP!Reader
You were created as a prototype for Chieftains. At first everything went perfect, your performance was brilliant, but they started seeing more flaws than strengths. You were then instead sent to Brave Police departament to be under Yuuta's care, maybe you can make yourself useful there.
You were given your own personality and sentience, but that didn't make you any less stoic. You greatly struggled to express yourself, you were created for war - to fight! Not to interact with civilians. Others of course tried teaching you to loosen up, but it didn't work. You have gone for advice to humans - Coach, Yuuta, Yuuta's siblings, Commissioner, you practically asked every human you knew, yet still didn't get the wanted results.
You did pick up some human things, but other than that you still acted like a robot, following direct orders, it was in your programming, your purpose! That changed when Chieftains attacked, nearly killing everyone in the fight. You were mostly evaded, somehow they still respected you - kind of. They recognised you as their senior, their prototype. Yet that didn't stop you from defending your team.
Out of nowhere another robot arrived, defeating the Chieftains. It was revealed he would be replacing Deckerd untill further notice. All of you were against the idea, how could they expect some stranger to be your new leader? Sure, he saved you, but it still didn't justify it. You were the last to object, you wouldn't follow orders that weren't Deckerd's or Yuuta's.
Instead of understanding you were met with hate from Duke's creator - Regina. As a prototype for those Chieftains you had to possess attributes of an evil heart. Your built was flawed too, she would rather piece you back together from scratch to change your bad ways. It was met with outrage, but the stoic individual you were, noone knew if it got to your heart. You calmed the situation down and softly as ever told that would never happen.
After that you started avoiding interacting with the team, the young genius's words got into your processor. You were really thinking it through - was it true or false? Could you really be evil as she said? You were about to distance yourself further from everyone, but it changed when Duke went out of his way to apologize for her actions.
" I deeply apologize on Lady's behalf, she can be rude, but has good intentions in her heart. " Duke walked over, steadily and slowly towards your form. You briefly glanced at him with your usual indifferent expression. Your gaze turned towards your servo as you clenched and released it over and over again.
" I understand. " You stand up and faced the other policemen robot. Both of your gazes met as you observed each other in comfortable silence. " It is forgiven, there Knight Detective. " You nodded to acknowledge his apology. You were about to leave, only to be stopped by his next words. " Duke is just fine, [Y/N]. " His exclamation was met with your agreement, shown by slight rised edges of your metallic lips.
After that both of you started trading stories, he spoke about Regina and you talked about the team. It was one of the first times you laughed, remembering all the things that happened in the past. You started visibly relaxing, letting a chuckle or two escape every now and then. Duke could finally connect with the team on a deeper level with your help and explanation.
You and him started spending more and more time together, sharing tips on how to loosen up. It worked out well for you and soon your relationship deepened to the extreme. Even after Deckerd returned you spent most of your day together, talking about everything you could think of - from your reason of existence to simple ordinary questions.
You helped him through Regina's departure and kept him company in his most needed times and he did the same for you. You were inseparable as if a magnet was keeping you close. Both of you enjoyed your closeness and hoped it would last for a long time to come, no matter what future has to offer.

Chapter 2: Breakaway
Summary:The team takes the situation into their own hands,
This wasn’t working. I couldn’t focus with them always interrupting me. Not only that, but it was becoming obvious that they were planning something. Something I was sure I wasn’t going to like. My time to finish this was coming to an end quickly. So I was off to find a place to finish. I was on my way out when an even voice stopped me.
“It’s Friday, Gunmax. We always go for a ride on your bike on Fridays.”
A sudden urge to ride a bike I didn’t have surfaced. Deckerd. He was a large threat to this.
“There is no Gunmax.” I spoke and forced myself to continue, but he stopped me again.
“Where are you going?”
“To find a quiet place to finish the connection.”
This startled everyone in the room and I felt a firm grip on my wrist.
“No. I can’t let you do that. We want Gunmax back.”
“There is no-”
“Gunmax Is There!”
My optics widened under my visor at his raising his voice.
“He’s still there and he’s still fighting. Just let him out, Ultra.”
I took a moment before I tried speaking. “If I let any of my pieces go then I will cease to exist. The connection must be completed in order for me to survive. I have no intention of dying today or any day.” I yanked my wrist away. “It’s just me now. Gunmax is Gone.”
“That’s not True!” Yuuta screamed. “If you won’t let him go then we’ll force you to!”
And just like that they advanced on me. Tedious allies turning into enemies at one statement. They were trying to prevent me from leaving. From surviving. I didn’t have time for this. I fled. I couldn’t risk whatever they were planning. I was going to survive.
--------------------------------
Hidden in the junkyard I sat. Lowering my head I focused inward. Forcing the connections one at a time. Each one giving me a spark of power and ease. It was time consuming. But it was relaxing in a way. Ever so slowly I was becoming complete. Everything else faded into the background. I breathed a soft sigh as the next one slid into place.
“Gunmax!”
My concentration broke as I was tackled. I didn’t even have a chance to fight back as J-Decker and Duke Fire pinned my arms, Super Build Tiger at my legs. Shadowmaru landed on my abdomen. He held a strange metallic stick. I could feel the magnetism coming off of it in low pulses.
“Just what do you think you’re doing?”
“Disrupting the connection.” Came the simple answer.”
“Do it now!” Came the order.
He pressed it to my chest and for a moment I wasn’t sure what it was supposed to do. Then I felt it. And I started struggling. I could feel myself weakening already. Plating rippled as it slowly undid the fusion. I screamed and struggled to keep myself together. It was screwing it all up! All of my efforts! Done away by this Thing! My voice was slowly breaking into three. I was losing myself.
No. No! No! No! All of you stay! You can’t! You can’t separate! This is right! This is how it’s supposed to be! You’re supposed to be Ultra! Me!
But it was no use. I was breaking apart. I had to get away. I gave one last thrash. Fighting to toss them off. I slipped free just enough. Just enough to escape their grasps. I panted as I looked at them. I retreated back another step as I help my chest.
“Gunmax!” Yuuta called desperately.
“We were so close.” Duke Fire spoke.
“Again!” Drillboy pressed.
They were ready to charge me, but then I stumbled back and held my head.
“Gunmax!” Deckerd called and I struggled to push it down.
“Break free, Gunmax!” Duke practically ordered and I felt my plating ripple underneath as it tried to break apart.
No. I didn’t want to die.
“You can do it! Come on!” Drillboy joined them.
I was losing my grip. I screamed. It hurt! It hurt! My voice split back into three.
“Gunmax!” Yuuta...
I broke out of the fusion. I hit the ground hard, a deceivingly soft sound leaving my lips. I Ached. I felt like I hadn’t had rest in days. There were multiple warnings popping up on my HUD that I was far too exhausted to read and make sense of. Someone propped me up and I blearily looked up, too tired to sound my discomfort. Deckerd. I hardly got a chance to read the warning that popped up as my frame shut me down.

I got a wonderful commission to share here today. I hope you're all ready for some ADORABLE shenanigans!!
MTMTE/Brave Police Crossover
The bots rescue an unusual group out in space, and make some unexpected friends.
"So, how are our new arrivals doing?"
Ratchet kept his voice rather low, but had little need to do so with the bots in question chatting away too eagerly to overhear him.
"Good, as far as they've told us." First Aid replied, looking over the notes on his data pad with an expression of still overwhelmed awe. These "Brave Police" truly were a marvel; earth made bots just as capable as any Cybertronian, complete with the ability to transform! Casting a glance back to the group, he had to pause at the sight of Drift chatting happily with them all, feeling as left out as everyone else did for the moment. Being the only one who had their particular earth language in his files, the ninjabot had been their translator from the moment of their unexpected arrival, though had quickly become amicable enough with the gathered group to start chatting away even when there was nothing to interpret. Noting that he technically had yet to speak to any of the new arrivals directly, First Aid amended his statement. "Well, as far as they've told Drift, anyway."
"We'll have a language download primed in just a few minutes, conversing will be far easier in short order." Ultra Magnus reassured the gathered bots from his monitor, finishing up the unexpected language program they had so sorely been needing. Despite the copious quantities of data they had on alien languages, not a single file on earth languages had been ready to go... Rodimus had been less than happy at the news. "A few minutes after that, the whole ship will have access, eliminating further language barriers."
"A few slow minutes!" the captain remarked in a huff, tapping his pede as he watched the loading bar crawl to completion. Casting a longing glance at Drift, he made no effort to hide the source of his impatience. "I should have been able to welcome these bots on board, I'm already late to the job!"
"Complaining will not make this go any faster-"
Even Ratchet had to chuckle at Ultra Magnus's expense when the monitor suddenly pinged to notify them it was finished, but Rodimus wasted no time rubbing it in, practically fist pumping only for a moment before diving in. Downloading the program at impressive speed even for him, the captain booted up the new language straight away, leaving everyone else to catch up as he hurried over to their guests.
"Hey everyone!" he greeted happily, loving the thrill of a whole new manner of speaking. The Brave Police perked up at the sound of their primary language, which Drift had referred to as "Japanese", with the aforementioned bot looking especially pleased. Smirking at his friend in particular, Rodimus addressed the whole group as the bots behind him finished up installing the program. "Am I coming through loud and clear?"
Drift smiled, but looked to the blue mech that had identified himself as the head of their team. Even if he hadn't, however, Rodimus could tell by the way he jumped up and saluted that the bot in question was a natural leader. "Very clear!" he said enthusiastically, offering a hand to shake with impeccable manners that almost seemed to be made all the more charming by his boundless enthusiasm. "Though we've already met, I would like to personally introduce myself and thank you for the rescue."
"Not a problem! We were in the neighborhood, you know?" Rodimus replied, finding things infinitely easier now that the two could talk directly. As the rest of his own team caught up behind him, with Magnus giving him a pointed look of disapproval, he allowed the earth based bots to speak freely at last.
"I'm Deckerd, and these are the other members of the Brave Police." said the police bot, looking to his assorted friends and opening the floor for them.
"I am McCrane." a reserved but friendly mech said, giving a very polite nod of his helm as a greeting. "It is a pleasure to meet you all."
A far more brightly colored mech, of a similarly solid build, gestured eagerly to himself. "I'm PowerJoe."
"Call me Dumpson!" a bright red mech announced, flexing an arm to show off his impressive strength. Rodimus had no doubt the bot would be very popular at Swerve's, and almost didn't notice the source of the next introduction from a sparsely lit corner.
"Shadow Maru."
Drift looked immediately impressed at the stealthy mech's skills, but before he could say a word the next member was speaking up quite emphatically
"I'm Drill Boy!" he said from atop a medical berth, kicking his legs eagerly and bursting with so much energy one might actually miss the soccer ball positioned in his chassis. Every bot present mutually wondered if it was a design or an actual functional ball, especially Rodimus, but the topic was minor enough to be filed away for the moment. A red and white mech spoke up next, his tone so flat Rodimus immediately knew Magnus would have a new friend by the end of the day.
"Duke."
At last, a lightly colored bot chilling on an open chair spoke up, lazily offering a playful salute as he introduced himself. "I'm Gunmax, baby."
Rodimus knew, straight away, he had found his own favorite amongst the group. At least, this bot would undoubtedly be the one he related to most. Behind him, a grumpy presence cleared his vents and spoke up.
"I'm Ultra Magnus. Now that we are all acquainted, I believe it is time for some more in depth explanations-"
"Come on, Mags! These bots have been through enough!" Rodimus said, patting the much larger mech on the arm and ignoring the look of frustration it got him. Perhaps there was residual impatience from the language delay, but he had no intention of sitting through anything he didn't feel like. "Besides, I think we established the basics well enough. You guys are from earth, right? Human constructed?"
"Yes. We were in space to foil a criminals plot. We were successful, but had it not been for your rescue, I fear we would not have made it home." Deckerd replied, calling back to the shell of a space station they'd been rescued from. Evidently some human had invented a kind of interstellar travel for nefarious purposes, been stopped by the Brave Police, but not before managing to get them all incredibly lost. Looking to the floor, the police cruiser continued a little awkwardly. His request was wrapped up as a tentative statement. "That is... we are still hoping to return home."
Rodimus smiled, hoping to get the group comfortable eventually by being as welcoming and laid back as possible. Clearly they weren't accustomed to calling their own shots. "To earth? Hey, not a problem! It's a stone's throw from here... on a cosmic scale."
There was a small groan of exasperation, and Drill Boy hopped off the table, pouting like a sparkling. "Aww, do we have to go back right away?"
"Drill Boy-" Deckerd admonished, turning on the spot to face the younger mech but never getting a chance to finish.
"I agree with him, boss!" Dumpson affirmed, making their poor leader's face turn to mortification as he was quickly outnumbered. Power Joe affirmed the sentiment, gesturing to the medical bay that had awed them when they'd first arrived.
"Yeah! We've only heard rumors of beings like us, yet now look where we are!" he said, recalling their impossible wonder at furniture their own size being *everywhere*. The Cybertronian presence on earth had never been especially heavy in their home country, and with official information at a minimum, their rescue had been a discovery for both sides.
"We certainly can't overstay our welcome!" Deckerd countered, blushing as he tried to compel his fellow officers to comply. Far too polite to share his own desire to stay, the police bot flinched as Gunmax piped up, offering his usual level of laidback snark in a single retort.
"Then let's just stay until we're no longer welcome!"
"Everyone-"
"Hey, no worries!" Rodimus said, stepping in to rescue the poor leader before an argument could break out. Endlessly amused by what he was seeing, the captain was quite confident he spoke for everyone when he offered an extended stay. A quick glance along mostly affirming looks told him as much. "You guys are welcome on the ship while we chart a relaxed course for the blue marble, sound good?"
Deckerd flushed again, looking down and kneading his hands together as he replied. "We wouldn't want to impose-"
"No imposing here. Magnus, Drift, can you relay a message to earth so these bots can call home? Ratchet, any chance you can synthesize some fuel for them out of what's in stock?" Rodimus said, putting an arm around Deckerd and speaking quickly so there'd be no time to argue. There was thankfully no resistance, as Magnus appeared too resigned to offer any. Ratchet, however, had a quick request to make before anything else could proceed.
"I'll need access to... diagnostics. Our anatomies differ quite considerably, so if I'm going to offer care, I'm going to need more information." he said, likely recalling how shocked he'd been upon first scanning them and discovering no sparks. Not to mention their use of earth fuel over energon, or how they lacked transformation cogs, and that was to say nothing of their unfathomable processor design... It had been the first time he'd experienced surprise in the medical bay in a long time.
Deckerd nodded politely, gesturing helpfully to himself as he did so. "I can share my own, doctor. Theirs are based on mine."
"There, we all good?" Rodimus said, guiding the group of new arrivals to follow him out the door. He could tell these poor bots were unaccustomed to a world designed around beings like them, and thus he wanted very much to show them what they were missing out on. Plus, they deserved a bit of fun after everything they'd been through. "In the meantime, how about a tour?"
"Yes! Yes please!" Drill Boy replied, hopping right beside Rodimus and nearly bouncing on his spot. The enthusiasm was almost infectious, and the captain couldn't help but puff up as he pinged the doors to open.
"Alright, let's go!"
The entire group followed in short order, even the most reserved of them looking curious as to what awaited them. While the antics reminded him of sparklings, Rodimus had to remind himself they were incredibly young, so the comparison technically wasn't too far off. Considering that, he felt he owed them a good time. Drill Boy made that easy, at least, hurrying beside him with wide and amazed optics.
"Is the whole ship this big?!" he asked as they stepped into the hallway, turning in circles as he tried to absorb the entire space at once. Deckerd stepped forth to explain the actions of his teammate, though he was clearly quite impressed himself judging by the delighted smile on his face.
"Only our office is built to accompany beings of our size." he said, giving the Cybertronian pause as he considered living in a world designed for much tinier beings. Earth had seemed okay while visiting, but suddenly the thought of living there seemed... cramped. Judging by how these bots were marveling at a mere hallway, he wasn't wrong. Did the humans just expect them to squeeze through everything all the time?
Gunmax joined Drill Boy in appreciating the change of stretching out his arms high above his helm and looking quite pleased at how he didn't even come close to the ceiling. "This is way better! There's elbow room to spare!"
"Look! We can fit through all the doors!" Dumpson announced, standing beside a random doorway to emphasize how his bulky frame could easily slip inside. Rodimus had to fight the urge to chuckle at the sight, especially with how delighted every one of his charges appeared at the idea. Several even tried the comparison for themselves with multiple individuals beside a single frame. When they finally did go back home, he'd have to leave them with a parting gift of Cybertronian door technology. Perhaps even some blueprints for a building in their size were due.
"Hold up!"
A familiar voice made him stop and turn on the spot with a delighted grin.
"Drift!" he called out as his friend hurried up behind them, looking just as excited as Rodimus felt. The Brave Police looked equally delighted by the return of their initial interpreter, especially when he was offered a spot on the group. "Wanna help me show these bots around?"
"I'd love to! Magnus is handling the transmission message." he said, looking to their guests with a helpful smile as he explained what that meant. Not that he wanted to assume anything, but interstellar communication didn't seem to be amongst their skills. "You guys will be able to call home when we're done."
"Boss will certainly be relieved to hear we're all safe." Deckerd said, looking like the news had taken more than a little weight off his own shoulders. Exactly who their "Boss" was hadn't been specified, but from the sound of things they did admire and care for whoever it was. Which was good, because if there was even an inkling the humans weren't treating them well... Rodimus had his thoughts cut off by a polite question. "If I may ask, where did you learn to speak Japanese?"
"When I was on earth I spent some time in Japan." Drift replied happily, recalling how he'd explored the country and added the native language to his database to better understand what was going on around him. Thankfully he had kept it despite leaving earth behind, or these bots wouldn't have had a way to communicate their medical needs. Considering how flabbergasted the medics had been... that was an immeasurable blessing. "I've still got a number of other languages saved up, more for the memories."
"Can you speak English?" Duke said, surprising even his cohorts with the question. Looking a little flustered at the attention, the surprisingly shy bot quickly clarified with an addendum under his breath. "It was... the first language I was programmed for..."
"I'm pretty sure most bots who have been to earth can speak English, learning a language isn't too hard for us as long as we have a download pack for it." Drift explained helpfully, and Rodimus had to stifle a smile at how his friend appeared ready to take the bot under his nonexistent wings. Ultra Magnus might have some competition befriending this one, it seemed.
"Hey, what's a "Swerve's?" Drill Boy asked, pointing ahead and totally oblivious to the conversation they'd just been having. The bright neon lights on the wall and the bots hanging about gathered the attention of the entire Brave Police, and in an instant Rodimus and Drift shared a knowing look of anticipation. Hopefully, this would be the most fun their guests had ever had.
"The best place on the ship to unwind, make friends, and knock back a few drinks." Rodimus declared proudly, gaining the attention of the bots outside the bar as he did so. While the news of the "Earth made bots" had traversed the entire ship several times over, no one had seen them yet, and thus there was an immediate buzz of excitement. Rodimus hoped they were all ready to become very popular in a short stretch of time.
"Drinks? For real?" Gunmax said, quickly moving to the front at the mere mention of the word and looking absolutely ecstatic. "About time, I'm parched!"
"But we don't consume the same types of fuel!" Deckerd reminded them all, looking uncertain and perhaps, a little hopeful to be wrong. While he didn't actually know the ins and outs of their differences in fuel consumption, Rodimus knew there was a bot who would, and was banking on him to have already crafted something.
"Let's see about that." he said, somewhat obscure on purpose as he guided the group past Ten. Each one appeared to go through a cycle of intimidation to confusion when the big tough door guard said his single word and welcomed each of them with a wave. The inside of the bar was buzzing already as they squeezed inside, the newcomers optics going wide as they beheld the incredible activity thumping away to the music. Chatter only increased as their presence was noted, but Rodimus made it clear the group was with him and on a mission. He didn't want to unleash them to the chaos without loosening them up a bit.
"Hey Swerve!" he shouted over the noise, clearing enough space for everyone to gather beside the bar. The barkeep pretended to have just heard him, despite clearly having been watching them all from the moment they came in, and he stepped right up to the counter with a glowing visor. Clearly, he'd been waiting for this.
"Need something, Captain?" he greeted, still playing coy and acting as if he wasn't buzzing with excitement for the new arrivals.
Rodimus, ever the sport, happily played along. Having ensured the whole ship had access to the language file, and allowing everyone interested to download it at their convenience, he spoke so that their guests could easily overhear the conversation. "Not me, but do you have anything for some travelers from earth?"
Before Swerve could answer, Drill Boy secured a seat at the bar, grabbing an empty drink and holding it up as the most amazing thing he'd ever seen. By the sparkles in his optics it might have been.
"Deckerd, look!! Everything is our size, even the cups!" he exclaimed happily, sitting up haphazardly on the stool as if he'd never had a place to sit in his own size. Technically speaking, he'd only ever had the one, so this might as well have been life changing.
"I've got more than cups, I've got some mixes for you to drink out of them!' Swerve declared proudly, producing a bottle of oil based liquid that astounded the gathered bots. Having only ever had fuel for practical purposes, the very idea of consuming for fun was resulting in some beautiful expressions of surprise. Loving the reaction, Swerve explained his process with well deserved delight at the accomplishment. Dark, iridescent liquid that shimmered at the smallest movement was poured into waiting cups as he did so. "I looked at your usual fuel formula and made a few tweaks that should make it taste a lot better. What do you think?"
While each bot took their cup and drank with varying levels of bravery, there was still undeniable curiosity from every one of them, even the most cautious. Dumpson, Power Joe and Gunmax knocked theirs back like a shot while Duke, McCrane and Deckerd sipped politely, the rest falling somewhere in the middle as Swerve held his metaphorical breath. Thankfully, the results came in with incredible speed.
"Fuel can taste this good?!" Drill Boy shouted, finishing off his entire cup in a rush and leaning over the entire bar in a desperate search for more. "Please tell me you made enough for us to take home!"
"No wonder Gunmax always drinks it, this is amazing!"
"It never tastes like this, this is something else!"
"Is this why the Boss always drinks so much?! It can be this good?!"
Rodimus and Drift couldn't back some good natured laughs at the reactions, quite happy to have introduced the bots to some much needed fuel and a fun time at once. Swerve, looking like he was overwhelmed with pride and genuine emotion at the compliments, had to regain himself before opening another bottle.
"I made plenty! Plus, I can make more!" he said, pouring more glasses for his new group of fans as the rest of the bar quickly fed off the growing celebratory energy. "As much as you want while you're here!"
"Hear that, everybot?!" Rodimus said above the din, taking advantage of the segway to set the newcomers free to mingle and hopefully befriend a few more bots. He could already see a few potential takers now; Tailgate appeared to be bursting with questions, and First Aid had reappeared to do the same, not to mention Ultra Magnus and Ratchet were stepping inside... The whole ship had to be present, and thus he made sure to be audible by everyone as he issued a statement so informal it could hardly be called a command. "The Brave Police will only be with us until they have to return to earth. In the meantime, let's show them how to have fun, Cybertronian style!"
A hearty cheer rose up, and by the natural fusion and fission of social groups, the earth bots were soon surrounded by eager and curious Cybertronians acting like long lost siblings.
Rodimus was vaguely aware of a tap on his shoulder, and while he expected to turn and see Magnus, Deckerd appeared rather sheepish as he held a partially drunk cup in both hands. Speaking just loud enough to be heard, he asked a question the captain hadn't actually prepared for. "If I may ask, what is this "Cybertron" I've heard referenced so often?"
The query was unexpectedly heavy, but he answered regardless. "It's our home planet, and-"
Before he could finish, Deckerd appeared shocked by the mention of " planet", as if something had finally come together in ways he struggled to process. "There's truly a whole planet of beings like us-you?" he said, betraying the source of his wonder in a single misspoken word. Rodimus felt his spark, something he had to remind himself the other bot didn't share, ache a little in sympathy for the bot. One could hardly tell they were of different worlds, but for all the problems of Cybertron, it was clear to him who had the advantage. The Brave Police didn't have an entire species of their own, and their time here had undoubtedly made them a bit more aware of that. It only made Rodimus all the more determined to give them a good time.
"Yeah! It's a little rough right now, but once we clean up a bit you'll be welcome to visit." he said, noting that plenty of friendships would be made today to help that happen. Drill Boy was showing off tricks to a whole team of bots, Gunmax was competing with Dumpson and Power Joe to down shots, McCrane was having a conversation with Cyclonus as Tailgate watched with a glowing visor, Shadow Maru was actually chatting with Ravage, and Duke was indeed hitting it off with Ultra Magnus. There was no shortage of enthusiastic camaraderie to go around. Primus, he merely had to blink and there was a transformation speed contest, his shipmates awed at their shared ability to transform...
"I'm certain it will be fun." Deckerd said as he surveyed the minor chaos with a chuckle, optics warming with delight at his team having so much fun beside their newly discovered companions. Rodimus wanted to tell him that it would be more than fun. The Lost Light was wonderful, obviously, but there was a whole galaxy out there to explore! Hopefully he'd be able to convince them all to come on some future trips when they slung by earth again in the future. Maybe they weren't durable enough for meteor surfing, but they'd undoubtedly appreciate theme parks, virtual reality hubs, and the countless bars that lined the stars.
"I promise it!" he said enthusiastically, putting an arm around the other bot like an affectionate big brother. For all of his reserved traits, the police bot chuckled at the gesture. Beaming as a monitor and microphone in the corner caught his optic, Rodimus guided the other mech through the crowd, speaking over the noise as he gestured with excitement.
"Now, while we're still sober enough to appreciate it, let me introduce you to bot sized karaoke!"

Gunmax and Deckerd convincing Duke into having a three-way.
Duke slowly stirred awake, groaning. His body was always set to recharge throughout the night, but he did put all of his sensors on high, in case of emergencies. His audio sensors went off, hearing a disturbance. As he sat up, he was still hearing it. A thud. Another. Another. Rapid succession. And giggling. From the room next to him, it seemed. He pressed his audial to the door, and scowled. Gunmax and Deckerd.
"Shh! GM, someone's g-gonna hear!"
"And that's BAD? You got pipes love, let it out~"
There was a groan of complaint, before it erupted into giggles. Duke grumbled as he stood up, tossing his sheets to the side. Gunmax and Deckerd were SUPPOSED to be in their own rooms. They were WAY past curfew. He was about to go and give them what for, when he listened yet again. It didn't take a genius to figure out who was taking the lead here, and Duke was… a bit jealous, honestly. He had been a bit lacking in the relationship category. Not for lack of trying, there were bots on his mind, but he just found reluctance in pursuing partners. Regina always said such acts were beneath him, be it romancing others, or what Gunmax was doing. Duke wasn't a pervert (least, he hoped he wasn't), but listening to the pace of their activity, made his pulse quicken. He shook his helm quickly, and opened his door, walking into the hallway, and knocking on their door, putting his hands on his hips immediately after. Gunmax opened the door, grinning and high off the others affections. He leaned in his doorway, putting a hand on his hip.
"Duke, hey hey there stiff. What can I do you for?"
"You two ARE aware you're breaking several rules, correct?"
"Aw, and here I thought you came over to be neighborly. We're just having a little fun, aren't we doll?"
He scooted to the side, letting Duke take a look at Deckerd, who was laying on his back, squirming. He nodded, biting his bottom lip. Duke tried not to stare too long in those lust filled optics. Oh he'd have to apologize profusely for having even a moment of such dirty thinking.
"Regardless. I would kindly ask you to leave. We have rules for a reason."
"Oh come on, I'm not done yet! Duke, you're telling me you want our fellow captain to just sit here and suffer? Look!"
Before Duke could stop him, Gunmax walked into the room, and walked to their recharge slab. He tore off his sheets, revealing Deckerd's valve, flooded due to a toy buzzing away inside his folds. Gunmax chuckled as he knelt down, popping open his spike panel, and seemed amused as he pushed his head past the others lips. Duke tried not to absolutely lose it in such a brazen action.
"Gunmax!! Do you know what the team would think, seeing their commander like this?!"
He shut the door in panic, and Gunmax only grinned further, loving how eager Deckered was for his spike. He slowly pushed himself in and out of his mouth, looking at Duke.
"Hey hey. Not my fault. HE'S acting like a little slut here. Though...okay maybe it IS my fault. I WAS teasing him all day, and since he's so desperate to overload, he's down for ANYTHING I do to him. Look at how pitiful he looks."
He leaned down, and slowly pulled out the toy, as well as his own spike, making Deckerd groan in complaint. Gunmax didn't help him any further, but rather, he leaned down to part his valve lips, showing a wet, eager, twitching valve. Duke dismissed the notification in his body, and tried to focus on Gunmax. But their biker boy knew better, flexing Deckerd's eager flesh.
"Look at him. I can't leave him like this. But...I also don't wanna get written up again, like last week. So let's scratch each others backs. I'll let you in on this tight little valve, and we keep this on the hush hush. Hows that sound?"
"What are you SAYING? You can't offer his valve like a get out of jail free card! This is disgraceful! You should be ashamed of treating him like this!"
Gunmax rolled his optics, and lightly pushed Deckerd's helm up.
"Aw come on. You're saying you don't want this? Deckered can beg, if that's your poison. Can't you, love?"
Deckered nodded, practically shaking as he pushed his hips up, forcing Duke to look.
"Duke...PLEASE. He's b-been teasing me for so long. I NEED help."
Duke hesitated. Deckered was absolutely cruel for doing this to him. He gulped, and thought about turning around. But then he looked at his leaders face. Suffering, and desperate to be put out of his misery.
"...is this an order, sir?"
Deckered nodded frantically, whimpering.
"Y-yes. An order. This is an ORDER Duke."
Duke looked at the door, and upon finding it properly locked, sighed, and slowly walked forward, popping open his spike panel. This was an order, nothing more, nothing less.
"We do not speak of this. Understand?"
"Yeah yeah, shut up and rail my boyfriend."
Duke decided not to dignify such a vulgar statement, walking up onto the recharge slab, and carefully guided his spike inside the others valve. And while he felt awful on the inside, due to guilt, he didn't at ALL feel bad externally. The valve clenched around him, greedy, and rewarding Duke for falling for his temptation. Everytime he slowly slid away from him, only to slide back in, the valve rewarded him. It was cruel and blissful punishment. Gunmax lifted Duke's face to look at him, and Duke hated that glint in his optics.
"You've never done this before, have you?"
"No. I don't...touch my comrades like this."
"I can tell. You don't have any threeway etiquette. I mean, here you are, looking like you're gonna bust any minute in this pretty little valve, and you haven't even looked my way. For shame."
"I wasn't aware you mattered here."
"Ouch. Tongue that sharp, and I haven't even tasted it. Yet~"
Duke was about to ask him what he meant, before he felt himself being yanked forward, right into a kiss. A kiss that forced his mouth open, and Gunmax's tongue right onto his. He wanted to push him away, but when he suddenly felt Deckerd overload under him, causing him to follow suit, he sank right into Gunmax's touch. When he pulled away, licking his lips, he patted Deckered's cheek.
"You two didn't last long, did you? No problem. Because you're gonna be breaking quite a few rules tonight~"
He high fived the rather exhausted looking Deckerd, and Duke debated if it was worth it. Feeling the valve clench and spill out fluids, he realized. It was VERY worth it.

Hi. Could I request for headcanons about Deckerd, Dumpson, McCrane, Power Joe, Shadowmaru, Drill Boy, Gunmax, & Duke react to their human s/o giving him a plastic rose saying it represents their love for them (it won't rot away unlike a real one) and something to reeact to their human s/o give him a plastic rose saying it represents their love for them (it won't rot away unlike a real one) and something to remember them by? I hope this is ok
Extremely postponed I’m sorry! It’s sad to some more sad then others.
Deckerd
Lives with Yuuta’s two sisters, he knows the significance of a rose, but doesn’t get that this one means why more than just a show of love.
Azuki is the one to tell him of your thoughts. Deckerd didn’t think about it much until then. One day he isn’t going to be able to stand by your side anymore and he couldn’t do anything about it. He withdraws for the night the rose staying near at all times.
The next day the rose is in a vase on his desk plain as day. However he ignores it most of the time, only sparing glances at it when his mind wanders to you.
Deckerd eventually with the help of Yuuta and his sisters set up a makeshift date. It was dinner(made by Azuki the sweetheart) set up as a picnic at the park. The police bot confessed his feels about the rose and how he felt about not have you with him one day.
It was decided that you two would spend more time together. The Tomonaga family even set up a room so you could live closer to each other. The rose seem to bring you two closer and as time moved on Deckerd knew he would be okay when you pass. His memories of you and the rose would be enough to keep you alive.
Dumpson
“Woah, woah, don’t be talking like that now!” he almost refuses the rose but if you continue he begrudgingly accept it. Doesn’t want to talk about what the rose represents. He denies that you’ll ever begone. He takes it what hardest.
Dumpson hides the rose. He knows where it’s at but doesn’t want to see it not when it brings up the thoughts of you passing on without him. He really didn’t think of human’s mortality when entering the relationship. He just knew the love he had.
Power Joe and Shadowmaru knock him out of his premature grief, “Don’t grieve for someone who isn’t even dead. Care for them now while you have a chance. Grieve once you no longer can,” they say. Dumpson takes it to heart.
Becomes more affectionate and cuddly behind closed doors. Not wanting to get you go any time soon.Accepts more affection back too.
Asks if would be okay to get married. Maybe not now a year or two? He wants to make as many happy memories while he can. Eventually he forgets about the rose. Doesn’t matter he sense he still has your ring.
McCrane
Turned and smiled at seeing you walking over to him. He’s delicate when holding the rose specially after you tell him why you have given him the flower. ‘Thank you,” he whispers letting his large hand pull you closer and letting you hug his neck.
McCrane ‘hand holding’(he just holds you in his hand) increases releasing you when you ask. Complements increase too, as he excitedly exclaims them to anyone who will listen.
He’s the least effected, he knew what he was getting into when he asked you out. Goodbye kisses every time you leave him and kisses whenever you come back.
He takes extensive care of the rose and bought a vase to put it in. It’s place where he can see it every day. It reminds him that you do love him and he loves you.
As you grow older the more affectionate he becomes. . He’s there at your deathbed a hand laid over his as it settled like a blanket. McCrane’s smile is solemn as he goes to receive his last goodbye kiss.
Power Joe
When his young friends visit him they could tell he was distraught. He really didn’t want the reminder. He wanted to stay forever with you. It’s worse when he realize that Yuuta and his classmates, his friends, are going to end up with the same fate.
Throwing himself into work he tries to remove the thought from his mind. It takes a while but he gets over this phase and returns to the Power Joe everyone loves. He knew that it’ll return when you pass but he’ll cross the bridge when he gets there.
He pretends nothing changed but, the team can feel it. He’s still not at peace with the thought but he knows he shouldn’t grieve for the living but celebrate life. The team is relieved when he returns to his normal self.
Power Joe makes sure you to let you know that you’re loved and cared for. You can feel that something has changed for the better.
When the dreaded time comes he is confused when he doesn’t feel anything bad. He has finally come to peace with the fact you’re now gone. He comes to the funeral the rose in hand and places it in your coffin. You’re memory will never fade. The rose had become a part of you and he wanted to see you whole as you are lowered to the ground.
Shadowmaru
Surprised to receive the rose. He can tell it’s fake but doesn’t understand. You wouldn’t just give him this without a reason. With the somber smile you had while giving it to him he know it has significance but what exactly?
He seeks you out for answers. The sad truth and painful reminder. You’re not going to live forever, is made clear. It a fate all humans go through. He sighs not wanting to think about this for a while.
When Shadowmaru returns it like nothing has happened at all. He stand only a tad bit closer. He starts showing more physical affection too.
If he has time during or after a mission he’ll pick up a trinket. Soon your shelf is full of them. If you have a deck welp, I hope you don’t need to do paper work.
He understands this is only a part of life and shouldn’t make a big deal. You aren’t. Shadowmaru is just grateful that you decided to spend your limit time with him even, if you’ll see each other again once you’re gone.
Drill Boy
When you give him the rose he gets excited,”Wow, a present, thank you!” Then gets upset that he didn’t know you’s be exchanging gifts and runs off to get one. Drill Boy wouldn’t get the meaning unless someone told him.
The poor young boy Yuuta has to brake the news. If the bots could cry Drill Boy would’ve made a new river and name it after you too.
“I don’t want you to go!” he cries when he sees you. Pulling you into a bone crushing hug. He lets up after he hears that he’s hurting you but doesn’t release you until McCrane had carry him away because of an emergency.
He ran back to you as soon as he could. The two of you talk it out soon enough. He doesn’t get over it, the fact you will die one day. For the rest of the week he stayed with you not bothering to go to work. Saejima was understanding and no one was needed that week surprisingly.
He starts spending more time with you, if you could imagine that being possible. He offers to play soccer with you but doesn’t mind if you would rather just watch. He once got Shadowmaru to play and he was pretty good despite never playing before but he had an accident with the goal so I doubt he’d be playing again anytime soon..
Gunmax
“Hold on don’t be thinking like that!” Gunmax hates when you think such depressing thoughts. He’s quick to try and take your mind off from it asking if you would like to take a ride on his motorcycle or anything that would cheer you up. You being happy is all he needs.
He kind of forgets about the rose and loses it. If this upsets you he gets angry at himself. He really needs to stop being so careless he tells himself. He desperately tries to make if up to you even asking Yuuta for tips.
Gunmax proudly announces that he loves you in front of the others. It was embarrassing, made worse by the fact that everyone cheered. This was the first time he’d said that and declaring it for all to hear made it special.
He says it often afterwards, as if he was reassuring it to you. When confronted he says that he just wanted you to know that all day everyday that he loved you.
Other than that nothing changes expect sometimes catching him staring with a solemn look on his face. “Im fine” he says not sounding fine at all. He knows no matter what he does you’re just going to pass on and he’s going to miss you dearly.
Duke
Duke gets flustered when he first sees the rose, he’d seen humans give them to their lovers  and feels honored that you view him the same. Then you tell him the reason behind the gift. Poor Duke doesn’t know what to do but try to comfort you to best of his abilities.Even if he’s the one who needs comforting.
At first he thought this won’t bother him, but now as he’s holding you a small, fragile human being in his arms. It’s bothering him a lot. However he’ll only talk about it if you desire too. If not his lips are sealed.
Duke is lost on what to do. He wants to make your life as happy and fulfilling as it can be but how? What if you don’t want romantic dates and everything. He wouldn’t confront you but the others will. Duke feels suddenly better knowing that you just want him to be happy.
He gets in contact with Regina and asks her how to set up a date. She’s surprised at this but tells him a simple plan. A walk in the park. In exchange Regina wants to meet the lucky suitor. This leaves Duke flustered.
It has been a regular thing since. Going to the park just to relax and have fun. The two of you learn to play chess! Duke isn’t very good at it as he keeps accidentally braking the board and pieces.

Rai them started leaping back to the wall and bounce off to slash Ghostwire. She landed on another wall and lunge again. She repeated through four walls and corners, assaulting Ghostwire with fire, speed and precision.
"Whoa, she's like a pinball in the machine! A fiery one at that!" Drill Boy exclaimed.
"She's trapping the opponent by "caging" to the spot while relentlessly attacking through different points and angles." Duke observed.
"It would be tough to escape from there without risking hurting a small opponent and overheating." Deckerd remarked.
The others cheered Ghostwire on. The three human men in the next room merely watched with silence.

The brave au starter for @askburningpassion
The morning was early to Ghostwire. Even when the facility was pitch dark, her processor was buzzing. Today is the last day, how is she going to tell her only friend this? The larger being couldn’t just escape, that’s much too impossible.
She bit her lower lip under the mask, as she could not dare to move her hands into a fist. Lest she get herself into a panic attack of her creator doing anything improper, again.
The metal being had to be stay still, just till she can hear the soft voice saying, “I’m here.” She wants to hear it one more time.

Story of a Lost A.I.
Scene 1 - 3: HERE                                                                Scene 4 - 6: Coming Soon
Rating: Teen / PG
Warnings: Violence (certainly) and Character Death (minor)
Fandom: Brave Police J-Decker
Characters: Duke, Gunmax, Drillboy, Power Joe, Dumpson, McCrane, Tomonaga Yuuta, Tomonaga Azuki, Tomonaga Kurumi, Deckerd, Shadowmaru, Regina Argine
Genre: Adventure, Hurt/Comfort, Family.
Summary: Deckerd is still gone after the Chieftains beat the Braves. Regina and Duke’s arrival was not a welcome one, either. Even if Duke hides behind Regina's training to be "the perfect policeman," he can still feel the hate in his team towards him. But one day, it'll be too late to save Duke. And Gunmax can't help but sneak around since Shadowmaru is still hurt.
Scene I : Discomforts and Double Edged Swords
Gunmax mentally sighed as the normal activities of the Command room played out like any Sunday. Power Joe and Dumpson arm wrestled and McCrane polished his rifle as he growled every time Power Joe got his arm slammed down harder each time he lost, which was a lot. Drillboy sat on his small desk and bounced a soccer ball with either his hands or with his foot on the floor and he would eventually try basketball finger-spinning his soccer ball on his feet and just watched it spin. He saw Yuuta with his head down on his desk that over looked the room on the humans balcony.
Poor mini boss. Not a a day or two ago did they lose Deckerd to the Chieftain twins. Those two fuel snatching fakers decided to drag themselves out of whatever hole they thrived from and go on a killing spree for J-Decker. They had attacked Shadowmaru and almost killed him if it hadn’t been for Seia (she runs the Navy, apparently) saving him from bleeding to death in the ocean. Shadowmaru would have drowned in the ocean and drained of all his special oil in the salty water, slowly sinking to the abyss of the reef. And they had the nerve to kick Gunmax’s aft too when he got to the scene! It was frustrating! He barely got to the fight and even then, his bike was so bad, he thought about just running there if it hadn’t been for the fact he couldn’t move much.
And then their was Deckerd’s murder…!
No. Gunmax didn’t go there. He wasn’t going to bring it up, he was to fond of Deckerd to get mad at his death. Gunmax had a respect for the blue cop car ever since Deckerd had hand cuff themselves together… Long story; involving Gunmax being framed for a previous partners crimes, Gunmax’s mood swings and constant disappearing (he was just driving laps around the city), and Deckerd being one of the only ones to truly believe in Gunmax’s innocence (everyone was spectacle, okay?) and Deckerd smacked cuffs on him. When they were in that forest… they became… friends? Brothers by oil barrel? It was fun tricking that hillbilly old man that they were “confiscating” his oil for tampering in supplies at “the factory”! Good times…
And now, those Chieftain give Gunmax the worst feeling in his… everything. From his pede, through his body, in his tanks, in his neck cables, and to his Super A.I..Gunmax still couldn’t believe moral was so low… in the board room, it actually looked like a normal Sunday night.
Dumpson and Power Joe actually being entertaining (to themselves mostly), McCrane polishing that old rifle of his, Yuuta sulking because he had school tomorrow, Shadowmaru off doing whatever-it-is he does, and Duke on last night patrol. But it couldn’t be more difficult. He knew Dumpson and Power Joe were venting under hushed breaths as they wrestled, McCrane was polishing a deadly weapon (focusing on nothing but the deadly weapon), Yuuta was mourning for Deckerds death, Drillboy wasn’t enjoying anything his mostly prized soccer ball could give, Shadowmaru was still in a dead sleep while the engineers fixed him up, and Deckerd was under the control of that stupid eye rock alien that had a metal fetish!
... Another long story…
Gunmax stopped staring at everyone when McCrane glared at him and McCrane himself stopped polishing that metal and wooden stick to reload the rounds within the barrel.
'Good, why not go to the shooting range next?' Gunmax groaned in his head as McCrane swiveled his chair.
Just as he was about to get up and leave, the newcomer and self-proclaimed “leader” of the Brave Police, Duke “Knight” came walking in with all his glory. If your wondering how the Brave Police got an ambulance on their team (an ambulance knight, no less) then listen close. Not barely thirty seconds after Deckerd died, a pristine and curvy ambulance pulled up and a blonde lady with a black body suit and a tiny red shirt over the suit got out of it and helped them chase off the Chieftains.
The ambulance was very attractive he must say but the moment he was sitting in Deckerd’s seat and telling them it was a simple “leaders” seat made him even more alluring. He kinda liked this mechas' moxy.
When Duke walked in, the room went cold and silent. He went straight for the fire truck in the back of the room but he had to walk past a glaring Dumpson, a growling Power Joe, a practically-oblivious McCrane, and a saddened Yuuta.
A giant red fire truck in a meeting room, you must be asking, why haven't you mentioned it? Well, Gunmax didn't care. It's been there for a while and just sits in the corner, so he forgets about it. The fire truck is non-sentient, sadly. It's Duke's combining buddy and upgrades the ambulance to a hulking giant protection suit called "Duke Fire".
Who else can combined? Gunmax with his bike but... Gunmax didn’t include himself, he was telling this narrative right?
Duke made his way back to his combining buddy and checked something on the side of the fire truck. Duke just stared at it for a minute before he started to walk to Deckerd’s seat (A.K.A. the “leaders” seat). As he made his way over, Gunmax heard Power Joe growl and he almost acted on the instinct of throwing his pistol for the fun of it at the yellow power shovel's head. His pistol had a homing device in it, it always comes back to him.
But when Duke didn’t take a seat, he just stared at the desks contents and searched the reports that piled up a little, the American grew curious.
“Why don’t you sit down, throw your feet on the desk?” Gunmax asked as he leaned back in his chair for emphasis.
“That does not sound pleasing. Putting dirty limbs that are bound to be covered in mud or caking dirt on these desks, that the humans spent so long to sanitize when we leave, does not appeal to me.” Duke said but didn’t look at Gunmax til the next sentence, “And it’s very rude. Lady has taught me better.”
… Now even relaxing felt like a crime.
He felt the urge to throw his pistol again when he heard Power Joe growl and actually started to hold his arm against Dumpson’s before it slammed down again. He was getting angry, Gunmax could tell now because the green optics that belonged to the power shovel were darker in hue but practically glowing with "emotions". Gunmax chuckled mentally, it's a wonder Power Joe’s A.I. hadn’t blown out yet.
“You’d all be fit to join me.” Duke said as he toke a random report out of the middle stack and looked over it fully.
Power Joe ripped his arm from Dumpson’s grip, stood up in a rage, and stomped his pede. “Really?! What would you be doing that we so begrudgingly need.”
“Well, I think some of you can join me in getting our jobs done. Paperwork, faxing, or patrol.” Duke said and held the report more firmly, “Others, I recommend asking Mr. Toudou or my Lady to teach you anger management or to some extent, some respect.”
Power Joe howled and launched at Duke, only to be stopped by Dumpson arm locking him and Drillboy (abandoning his ball) holding his chest just incase he wiggled away from Dumpson. McCrane forgot about his rifle entirely and stood up in between the restrained Power Joe with his brothers and Duke. Yuuta stood up quickly but didn’t move in any other way, as did Gunmax.
“You piece of scrap metal!” Power Joe yelled to Duke as he returned to reading the report and apparently the newspaper that went along with it, “How could you just stand there and act like you didn’t do anything?!”
“Because I didn’t,” Duke said and gathered his papers, “I merely suggested what we truly need to be doing. I didn’t want you to actually prove that you need it... Stress relief or not."
Power Joe cried out again and fought against two of his brothers even more as Duke began to leave with what he came for. Gunmax caught Duke’s face when he left, and he saw just before his visored optics couldn’t see Duke’s own face anymore, that Duke’s plain and emotionless orange optics turned a sad and distressed yellow.
Gunmax would have pointed it out if (oh, he knew this was making it worse) Power Joe screaming revolting things after the ambulance.
“You giant wast of metal! Running back to your tiny, creepy corner in the base where trash ends up!” Power Joe just kept going and going, “Running back to the your little British master so she can find a new flaw in your head and make you more of a bastard! You --!”
“POWER JOE!” Yuuta cried and when everyone turned their helms, they saw everyone standing there.
The General was frowning deeply while Toudou was whispering to him, both looking grim. Yuuta and his sisters, Kurumi and Azuki, were standing there, Yuuta crying full and hearty tears as Azuki looked extremely pale. Seia and Ayako stood there with pure surprise and horror on their faces as the door behind them slammed and a young blonde girl stepped out. Regina glared out amongst the crowd but didn’t say anything at first, Gunmax knew she must have been mad at them for distressing Duke and putting “human” inside his “perfect” A.I. Regina had made…
“I could thank you.” Regina said and caused most of the room to go astonishingly more quiet, “But I won’t.”
With that note, she turned and left instantly with a huff. Gunmax… could not believe it. Regina, the head engineer that graduated at the age of 10 from an engineering college, made Duke out of spare parts (literally) and a half made blueprint (okay, exaggeration)… had just thanked them for letting Power Joe verbally abuse Duke.
After a minute of stunned silence, Ayako hit the desk with her fist and glared, “Baka! How dare you say such things to Duke! And how dare all of you-- !” she pointed at everyone else, "--dare to let Power Joe continue!”
“It’s not our job to control to control Power Joe!” Dumpson said and shoved the power shovel away now that he wasn’t struggling, “And Duke was taunting him!”
“Even if so, you do not retort back!” Seia stepped in, “I am a military commander and I have seen things like this in my ranks! Someone says something and the person getting spoken to gets angry and attacks the offender! The beginning aggressor never gets as much punishment as the soldier who attacks him, even if he starts! And I’m sure if you had maimed Duke liked you wish, he’d just come back because of Toudou and Regina’s engineering, and you’d be the one getting your A.I. refreshed!”
Gunmax didn’t stay anymore after that, he ung around swiftly. He was going to consult Duke; but before he left, he left on a sour note…
“I could have cared less if I ripped the Super A.I. from his processor and he slowly died under my fist-- !” Power Joe, that fool...
Scene II : Taxi Downtown, Gunmax style
Gunmax's jaw line was snapped shut and pursed in a straight line. A very bad note to land on if you were sensitive to topics like this, and Gunmax wasn't a stranger to the whole "team hates new guy" thing. He had been the new guy in the American division once and they were slightly welcoming people. Some were greedy little monsters, because he would wake up from recharge and their would be some random soldier in his quarters and they'd be snooping through his rooms contents. He could still remember his partner being the only one assigned to him that would just sit in a chair and relax and wait for Gunmax to wake up and not snoop his room.
Those days were gone. He was in Japan and with a very crippled team, and right now, he was the glue that was going to fix these mechs. And going to do a pretty good job about it.
He rounded a corner and Gunmax couldn't help but think about what had happened in the Deckerd command room that made his tanks churn just a little. He had never felt so... nervous or this upset. This new guy, he was... Green. He knew the new guys always saw how everyone functioned in a team, like a black and white scanner of sorts, and what each team member was good at in their roles. At least he hoped Duke could see so...
He just hoped that he could at least teach Duke ABOUT the team. Cross his fingers he wasn't too late.
He rounded another corner and saw he was coming up to the Brave Police's engineering room and there were voices coming out of it instead of the usual sound of cutting metal and shifting feet. He stopped at the doorway and softly peaked into the room. The room was empty shy of three figures, two larger then the other. The little figure on the balcony was growling and demanding things from the tallest thing in the room couldn't seem to answer. Duke and Regina. Another figure was on a slab made for the human engineers to reach the Brave Police entirely and he was just laying there. Offline. Shadowmaru. Gunmax snickered but went quiet as Regina snapped at Duke again.
"I will hear no more discussion of it!" Regina said as Gunmax peaked a little more, just enough to see them entirely.
"But Lady! I can make a change. A difference in their perspectives." Duke pleaded, Gunmax's actual optics widen at the emotion it was leaking, strain, "I can show them they don't need Deckerd as a leader, and that it can be different."
"You won't." Regina said as she gripped a device in her hands, it wasn't really finished but it looked like a remote control, "They're too fond of him. You'll never be excepted into this team the way I made you for."
"Lady, to be fair," Duke began again and he almost growled at the kicked puppy look Duke was giving Regina, "I...I could care less if I'm seen as the leader, I just want to have the team-- a team again. This isn't Scotland Yard, your not the leader anymore. This is Japan, we have a direct superior now. Both of us."
"That is correct. We are not in Scotland anymore." Regina hummed.
"Thank you, Lady." Duke sighed. It couldn't be simply over just like that with Regina...
"That only means that you need to be reprogrammed." Regina began again and Gunmax winced, "The perfect policeman does not care to appeal the team. A perfect policeman does not care about where he is living and working, everything follows you no matter where you go..."
"Lady! Please." Duke called.
"And the perfect policeman does not beg and whine when someone does not rule in their favor!" Regina finished and held up the unfinished device, "This machine is going to be a switch. A switch for your A.I. and only I decide when you get shut down!"
"That's not what we wanted, Lady." Duke choked, "I want nothing to do with any of... THIS."
The sound of running meet his audios, as they grew closer, he pressed against the wall as Duke ran past him, his running stance sloppy and rushed. Gunmax watched the distressed ambulance run and he heard within the room he had previously been spying on. Just as he was about to run in the room, to demand what was going on, he heard a slight scoff from the room Duke had exit...
Gunmax frowned, growling softly as he made his way after Duke, the ambulance couldn't have gone far.
Stupid accusation! Turns out the ambulance could get as far as he wanted when he was upset. And he was very much ready to say, "Okay, I did my fair share of work, let him work it out on his own. I did."
And that almost made him smack himself, he hadn't done anything and it was hard for him to claim the prize of participation when all he did was eavesdrop and fail to give chase. He sneered and smacked his face, avoiding his visor to avoid dramatic stupidity, and slowly moved it down off his face in a gesture of stressed aggravation.
"Gunmax!" Drillboy came over frantically and in such bad hysterics that he would sometimes stumble on his one repeated word.
"Drillboy? Drillboy!" Gunmax said and tried to pay attention to the gibberish he was receiving.
"Gunmax!" Drillboy started again with the hyper speech, Gunmax wanted to smack the drillformer but that would cause the brat to be even more upset, "... Duke left with Yuuta and his sisters!"
Gunmax was tempted to say, "It could be his turn to take them home." but he wanted to smack himself again. Duke hadn't been here for more then almost a day and a half and he's pretty sure no one has had the guts to take over Deckard's job on taking Yuuta and/or his sisters home just yet. So that meant he had to go to mini-bosses home and look for the ambulance, demand a explanation, and stomp all over his teammates for earlier.
He didn't listen to Drillboy anymore as he put his servo on the naive mechas face to shut him up and he made his way to his garage where his bike was waiting for the chase. What he didn't do as he turned the corner, was listen to his orange and soccer addicted counterpart.
"Wait! Gunmax-- WAIT! Duke said something else! GUNMAX!" And Drillboy was left alone.
Scene III : Flashback to Kagero, Highway ambulance heist
Duke hadn't meant to go that far, Lady was probably hastening her advancements on her A.I. remote. He knew he went out of line, he knew he must have made her mad. Her glares said it all.
Duke speed through the hallway and down to the garage which he knew lead to the less used entrance of the building. The Braves’ garage could fit a little more than Super Build Tiger and J-Decker while the two sat, with a slight hunch, hip to hip. But the back garage wouldn't even fit Gunmax very well; though, as the room the humans stored their cars and bikes in, it could fit Shadowmaru's wolf form just fine. Humans storage, not ambulance bots escape route. Yet it was about to become just that.
He should have stopped as an orange frame came around the corner but he didn't. He just didn't. When Drillboy almost fell over him, Duke had halted. The ambulance really only did this because the smaller bot grabbing his arms in an attempt to stabilize himself.
Drillboy must have mistook him stopping as a sign he’d tried helped him from falling because he’d smiled sadly at the British bot, saying, "Thanks, Duke."
"Oh," Duke said, and he’d frowned slightly as the orange mech didn't let his forearms go, "Your welcome, Drillboy. I apologise for running into you but I really must go."
Drillboy didn't let go even when Duke tugged lightly, trying to not raise more suspicion about his rushed exit. Apparently dashing in the halls after what happened in the meeting room sent up a red flag. If he hadn't ran, if he’d set a leisurely pace in the direction he wanted, then maybe he would be scott free and transforming out of the back entrance by now. Maybe he wouldn’t be enduring suspicious looks from the little mech.
"Duke," Drillboy said lightly, "Don't take whatever Power Joe said to heart. He’s just trying to cope with Deckard gone."
Duke grunted but not in response to the drill, just at himself for getting dragged down like this. "Trust me, I won't. Anything Power Joe says "goes out the other ear" as they say. I appreciate your concern Drillboy but I really..."
Drillboy brought on a big, sad, look. Nothing like the usual puppy dog optics he used when the rest of the team tried telling him no. Somehow this was worse. Instead of simply invoking feelings of sadness, this brought unnecessary guilt to his A.I. He had a sinking feeling Drillboy was going to beg him to tell him what's wrong, or--even worse--beg to walk him to wherever he was in such a hurry to go. Duke couldn't see Drillboy casually walking to the back entrance and letting him creep out, not without asking why. He really didn't need the drill upset over him leaving.
"Please, Duke," Drillboy said softly, "Let me at least join you--"
Bloody hell!? Did the little mech just know exactly what other’s didn’t want him to ask?
"--Until I get where I need to be. We’re only a few corners away! I want to walk with you just a little, be next to you in a way."
That . . . actually didn't sound too bad. Drillboy had taken a room and transformed it into a decent soccer field: ball polish, extra balls, air pumps, extra nets and beams for goals, paint for the field he practiced on. You name it and Drillboy had it. Futball maintenance was all the room was good for and it seemed the ball on Drillboy's chassis could use some right about now.
"Fine." Duke said with some interest, watching Drillboy perk up. "We'll walk to your maintenance closet."
"Ah, ah!" Drillboy shouted, letting the ambulance go and waving a finger. "The maintenance closet of soccer professionals, you mean!"
"Whatever floats your boat, Drillboy." Duke smiled and began walking. Drillboy sticking close to his right side.
The maintenance closet was in the same direction as the back entrance and that made Duke less upset about the walk. He had plenty to be upset about today, certainly enough to make this walk uncomfortable: fighting with whatever was left of this team, watching as crippled Shadowmaru tried some physical therapy and landing back on the berth with a heave, Lady showing him the machine that would controlled his basic life, and being tailed by Gunmax for quite a while until he lost him. That was only since the sun had gone down.
"So," Drillboy said with his arms behind his helm, "Where were you going in a hurry?"
Duke couldn’t think of a reason to stay silent, not with the ceiling looming over head, soundlessly demanding Drillboy be treated well. Guilt. Neither did he have a reason to tell the truth. "Fax room. An urgent notion has to be faxed and looked over with care about medical professional not getting paid their wages." Duke calmly claimed.
Drillboy must have accepted it because he hummed and move on with another question, expression blank as he could manage. "Anything fancy happen lately? Anything you might be upset about?"
"Not that I can think of," or that you should know, "nothing urgent anyway. Maybe a few mothers giving birth in my cab as I saved them from buildings upsets me slightly but nothing else bad." Duke sighed.
Drillboy cringed. "Aren't births messy?"
"Yes." Simple answer.
Drillboy looked at him in surprise. "Who helped you clean that out?!"
Duke hummed in thought. "Well, Lady and the generals were too busy, so I think Ms. Seia and a military man cleaned and sterilized my cab."
"You think?!" Drillboy emphasized as they turned the first of two corners.
Duke nodded. He was slightly upset he couldn't actually remember getting cleaned. The births hadn't been lovely, but not all unpleasant. At least he wasn't the doctor who had to birth and control the process or the father whose hands popped and skin turned red as the wife screamed. He was glad he only had to drive to the hospital and not help anyone inside . . .
"Well . . ." Drillboy said after shivering. "Are you sure nothing else’s bugging you? Nothing you want to tell me, or at least show me?"
"No," Duke said. "Not that I can think of."
"You sure Duke?" Drillboy said, his tone interlaced two unknown emotions together.
"Drillboy." Duke snapped lightly and looked at the mech, "I'm fine, everything's fine, nothing is wrong and I'm sorry I have no ‘juicy gossip’ as you call it." He looked at how far they had to go before Drillboy's stop then back to Drillboy, "Why are you so persistent?"
Drillboy sighed lightly, looking at the ceiling, servos still interlocked behind his neck, "Because something is bothering me and I'm upset about it..."
Duke couldn't just let Drillboy leave off there. Duke might be the expendable part of the team, not really a true member , but he couldn't leave the little bot like that. Drillboy had that thing about him where no one could ignore him and it had nothing to do with how the mech was orange and white with a big mouth and volume. That was just his presence. Or the fact Duke was being a hypocrite lately.
"What is it, Drillboy?" Duke asked softly to his walking companion.
Drillboy halted and he lowered his arms, making Duke stop in his tracks in confusion for a second. Drillboy oddly blank look scared realization into the ambulance.
"A certain friend of mine has been lying to me since we started talking. Sound familiar?"
Duke almost choked. Drillboy continued with a light but rigid tone of voice. "He lied about fax reports. He lied about being fine. He lied about not letting a certain brother of mine's words get to him. I think the only truth I've got out of him tonight it the fact his cab has a 50 percent chance of having pregnant lady fluids in it."
Duke mental reeled and did a double take. So Drillboy was more observant than people gave him credit for. He had noticed Duke was walking in the opposite direction of the fax machine, the fact he was hesitant to walk with him after what transpired in the meeting room, and even that the only thing that was true came out of his vocalizer easier than the lies did.
"Kudos, Drillboy." Duke whispered back to him.
Drillboy smiled and then went back to a frown to keep him composure and make sure Duke didn't pull him into a subject chang. "Thank you. Now, will I get a correct answer? Please, Duke . . ."
"I won't tell you the whole truth . . ." Duke said as he stepped in front of the soccer mech. "Maybe some of it though. You did find your way around my steady lying."
"Some?!" Drillboy choked. "But I want to help you!"
"And you will. Just not now." Duke said, getting closer and whispered to the startled and confused mech, "But you're not the one who's going to save me from myself..."
Drillboy looked up in pure concern and confusion as Duke retreated and turned to take a few steps before he heard a beep. It was a comm link. It was too far and muffled to be his own so he watched as Duke stopped and cursed lightly. Someone must have...
"Looks like I have to take the children home, everyone else is unsuitable to roam the streets with children inside them. Like an ambulance is any better." Duke mumbled out loud, turning to Drillboy. "Sorry, you have to walk the rest of the way yourself, I have a duty to fulfill."
Duke disappeared from Drillboy’s sight and the little mech frozen after. He hadn't realized it until Duke was gone, but now he could hearhurried steps from where they--Duke--had stood a few seconds ago. He knew who it was before his teammate perimeter alert warned him.
"Gunmax! Gunmax!" He ran back the way he came.
Duke sighed as Yuuta was carried into his driver seat unconscious. He wasn't upset at this turn of events with Yuuta's family needing to be taken home. It was a hassle on his plan though, especially when they were asleep inside his cab. Sure, his sisters were awake but the little boss was who he saw everyday. He could get away with acting suspicious around Yuuta as he was blinded by childish naivety, but his sisters... His sister's weren't exactly often called to the police station. They could pick up on his subtle hints of being upset, being older sisters and mature, he hoped they didn't.
They swiftly swung in and the eldest sister buckled in Yuuta's sleeping form. When they were all buckled up, Duke speed out the back entrance and started a steady and relieving pace to the humans’ home.
The night would have been silent had it not been for Yuuta's snoring and the two girls whispering in his passenger seats about bloody knows what. He had no interest on listening in after the baby incident and he gladly just drove straight and--.
"Duke," Azuki said softly, "We want to apologize for what happened today. It was so ugly."
"Yeah!" Kurumi said louder but not loud enough to stir the sleeping boy, "You’re not the one who took Deckard from us, you're also not the one who put yourself in charge! That was all Regina--"
"Please!" Duke said and cut off the middle child, "You'll awaken Yuuta."
"But--" Kurumi was silent when Azuki shushed her dark haired sister.
"Duke," Azuki looked at his dashboard with a loving and calming look, making him feel something in his A.I. that was strangely uncomfortable. "I understand what you're going through . . ."
"Azuki..." He whispered gently, as a warning or as astonishment, he didn't know. He and Kurumi listened to the oldest sister of the Tomonaga siblings who's eyes had grown starry.
"I understand because I've done this about three times." She said softly with that same bloody caring expression, "Shadowmaru and Kagero, I think his name was, were fighting, and I was caught in the middle. Kagero and Shadowmaru were practically brothers when Kagero went rogue and started attacking talking machines, which is how I got where I was."
Duke listened intently, quiet but still paying attention, while Kurumi searched the seat.
"They had a falling out. Shadowmaru held a certain point of view that Kagero didn't. Kagero was going to be wiped of his memories, given new orders, and shipped off somewhere else. To Shadowmaru that was an okay idea, he didn't need Kagero being his "shadow" anymore and this was a chance at a possibly new and better life for Kagero. Kagero didn't agree. While Shadowmaru monologued how much memories were just data, Kagero stated his memories were more than data. Everything built from there. Kagero didn't want to forget everything he knew, didn't want to forget Shadowmaru like he was nothing...
"Because to Kagero, Shadowmaru was his everything." Azuki stopped, tears fresh in her big brown eyes, before continuing, "Shadowmaru let Kagero go and Kagero returned me. I was so tired I fell unconscious . . . when I awake, I got information that scared me to death--" She choked, "Kagero was captured and tampered with... Shadowmaru had to kill him . . ."
Duke watched as she rubbed her eyes and smiled at him, again with such love and misery he was sure it was burning his inner chassis.
"I had to comfort Shadowmaru when he showed up in our backyard with low fuel. He had tried to starve himself to death, would you believe it?" Azuki's voice was softer now. Duke couldn't understand how but it was. "I told him the real Kagero was cheering him on somewhere, and when Deckerd showed up to retrieve him for a mission, Shadowmaru, he fueled all the way back up. Ready to fight..."
Duke heard Kurumi gasp softly as Azuki finished off tortuous last words.
"For him."
"OH NO!" Kurumi cried, surprisingly not stirring the boy to her left. She was looking around frantically as if Azuki's story wasn't heart touching. Either that or this item she was looking for was important.
"Ms. Tomonaga, what are you looking for?" Duke asked as he stopped at their house.
"We have to go back!" She told Duke's dashboard before patting her dress down again. "We left our pagers for the team back on Yuuta's desk. We also left some forms we need for Yuuta's next year on the force!"
Duke made a calming noise. "Don't worry, I have no reason to rush this trip. I can drive you back and Azuki can go retrieve said items from Yuuta's desk. Okay?"
Kurumi calmed down. "Yes, thank you. I apologize for yelling so loudly."
"No need." Duke's tone sounded of a smile while his vehicle form could not.
He set them back into motion and they drove down the street so Duke could get to the intersection and make a U-turn. On the way to the intersection, they paused at a red light leading to a four-way stop. South, the way they came. North were neighborhoods and houses of the city. West was small markets and local service providing places. East lead into the highways of downtown Nanamagari City. Duke sat at the red light for awhile before making a soft noise to gain the attention of the two young women.
"Yes Duke?" Kurumi asked.
"What do you need?" Azuki asked alongside her younger sister.
"Azuki..." Duke said softly, timidly, "Why did you tell me such a story? About Shadowmaru and... Kagero, yes?"
She nodded and hummed, "Well, you remind me of Kagero, excluding the kidnapping and physical dispute with someone else, you are having personality problems. Or in present terms, "getting along and fitting in" trouble. I feel with a little niceness, maybe..."
Duke saw the green light and turned onto the intersection, the blacktop cold and sleek with fresh friction under his rolling tires. He sped down the fast lane, making good headway for the station.
"Just maybe... you would open up to us helping you. Maybe even to the team . . .?"
"OH MY GOD! DUKE, SWERVE!" Kurumi screamed, awakening her brother next to her. She tried to grab his wheel.
Before he could ask why she had screamed once again, a large mass landed and broke the blacktop it crashed onto. A dozen cars on both sides swerved and panicked, crashing into each other, but Duke had no such luxury. He hit what appeared to be a leg, trying to stop the humans from receiving whiplash.
Whatever it was put its foot on his roof and pressed down, making Duke's alt mode creak with strain, and he grunted as the family inside him grew scared. He opened his doors and ordered them out of his alt mode, they quickly complied with his demands. The girls crawled out his right door and Yuuta out his left. With his door now open, they no longer providing essential structural support, his body began to give way to pressure and his roof started cracking.
Suddenly, the foot lifted off of him and Duke didn't take the opportunity to just sit there. The ambulance tried to transform, made challenging with the damage he sustained, only to catch a glimpse of the thing’s foot coming down to kick him in the face with full force as his bipedal form rested after his transformation.
He flew over a five car intersection blockage, an umptheen car pile on, and hit two cars with their humans still inside before skidding on the pavement, taking blacktop with him. He laid there limp as the man and woman in each car screamed in terror as the massive force loomed over them. The being just stood over there, blocking a good chunk of the stars and blending with the empty black midnight abyss he stared at some nights. The form’s optics glistened as they traced his inpudent frame.
J-Decker. The form was J-Decker, the big body couldn't hide those familiar features he recognized the last time they fought. The chassis. The base color clear even in the shadows. The optics burned the same even if they were under the control of an alien force. Said alien force clinging to J-Decker's body.
He quickly pulled out his pistol and cocked the revolver to make sure his ammunition was full before he shot up at his doom. Oil ran down his mouth and from the crack on his forehead, his right optic getting covered in black grease. He spit out said oil as it leaked into his mouth and quickly aimed up at J-Decker as the beast raised its same foot above him.
The humans under his side started to scream louder and the began to giggle their door handles.
The pavement felt twice as cold against his back...
It was going to stomp him. Like some fly it was just swatting out of the air but hadn't killed...
He pulled the trigger four times before that large leg came down at him with full force. All the while he heard the distant sound of a motorcycle revving its engine at full throttle and a human female screaming:
"DUKE! DUKE!"
Sadly, in his A.I. he knew that was the third time tonight a girl had yelled at him.
Sadly, it was the third different female who yelled at him...
Azuki-- no, any women-- had never sound so heart wrenchingly horrified.

Chapter 11: Forgiveness
Summary: Gunmax spends more time with the team while he waits for Redwave and Bluelight.
I had to admit that they were a little less intense now. Though someone was always around they didn’t have to be right next to me anymore. No one was hovering over my shoulder or following a step behind when I left a room. They did try to engage me in conversation at times. Power Joe would at times try and bore me with his talk of TV dramas. McCrane and Shadowmaru were more quiet presences. Maintaining their equipment nearby, sometimes making comments that I usually chose not to respond to. Dumpsons attempts at conversation were awkward at best, so he usually kept his mouth shut. Drillboy was still as excitable as ever. Duke was serious about his job so conversation had always been limited. Then there was Deckerd. He seemed hesitant to approach me, let alone speak with me. I could guess what his problem was, but this suited me just fine right now.
The anger was waning, but I was still too stubborn to just forgive them. I had felt isolated, hurt, angry for too long. Redwave and Bluelight were the only ones that had eased it. I had to see them. They would not stop me when the time came. But for now I was alone. I had to deal with this without them. I’d have to let this go eventually. They were my team. Though I wouldn’t admit it I had been a little harsh with them. Once I had gotten frustrated enough I had refused to speak just as often if not more so than I had felt cut off and unheard. I couldn’t just keep punishing them with silence when they didn’t completely deserve it. I had been rather distant with the kid too. Boss or no he was a kid and didn’t need this.
So I made the effort to be less hostile. Especially with Yuuta. He was rather attached to us. Deckerd was his family so having him here most of the time trying to deal with me had to be a strain. If it was ever brought up then I’d vehemently deny that I was making any sort of effort. After all I was the one that had been wronged.
Thankfully the kid didn’t point out my sudden change toward him. Whether it was fear that if he did point it out that I’d backpedal and go back to how I had been acting or how he was just keen to take it how it was, it didn’t matter. Just that he didn’t point it out. I was starting to fall back into a routine again. Though I was stuck at base until this coding thing was sorted out things felt less tense. I was getting a bit twitchy for some sort of action, but things were far better than they had been.
“Gunmax?”
I pulled myself from my thoughts to turn my attention toward McCrane. “Yeah?”
“Would you be willing to come to the shooting range with me? It’s always better to have someone else there.”
“Yeah, sure.”
I had been dying to do something other than stare at the phones anyway. It would be nice to shoot. I hadn’t done anything in ages. Practice was just what I needed. Of course that one admission to do something with McCrane had led to the others asking for me to join them for similar activities. More target practice, sparring, or even a simple walk around the block. I was bored. That was the only reason I accepted any of their offers.
My attention was drawn away from my current target as Deckerd appeared in my peripheral. Lowering my weapon I turned to face him.
“Need something, patoka?”
He seemed a bit surprised that I had acknowledged him this time. I had been just ignoring him and his awkwardness so far. But we couldn’t keep dancing around this. He wanted to say something, had been wanting, but hadn’t even attempted to. Either he was afraid that his presence would upset me or the nature of whatever it was he wanted to bring up. Either way this was most likely not going to be pleasant. I’d rather get this out of the way before Red and Blue were up and about again.
“It’s… nothing too important.”
“So you’ve been hovering around me since our argument for nothing important?” I asked and he looked a bit guilty.
He took another moment before he spoke again. “Could we go for a ride on your bike?”
Well that was one way to avoid things.
“I figured that you’d be missing it by now. It’s been awhile since we went for a ride.”
Since I had fused with Red and Blue went unsaid. I didn’t let it hang in the air too long. Flicking the safety I put away my gun.
“Alright. Let’s go then.” I started off, but paused when he just stood there. “We gonna go or ya change your mind? Because if you just gave me some hope of getting to do something and just Now decide it’s a bad idea I’m not going to be too happy.”
“No, no let’s go. I just… didn’t think you’d want to.”
He followed me out and for a time it was awkward. That melted away rather quickly for me though. I had really missed this. The wind and the sound of the city. This time there would be no surprises. I knew what it meant now so when the coding began to get uncomfortable I’d head in another direction. My leash was bothersome, but Red and Blue were at the end of it so I couldn’t find it in me to be angry.
Then we saw them. Just some petty theft by the look of it. A window was broken and they dropped the rest of what they had when they took note of us. I felt Deckerd stiffen behind me when he noticed and I looked back with a grin. I didn’t give him a chance to say anything. I gunned the engine after the fleeing car and laughed when he yelped and clung to me.
“Gunmax, I don’t-”
“Come on. It’s just some petty theft. Nothing serious. Let’s have some fun.”
“Arresting miscreants isn’t fun.”
“It won’t be with that attitude.” I hit the siren.
We chased the little brats through the back streets for a time before they panicked and left the car all together to flee through some alleyways.
“We’ve got 'em now.”
“Go around and cut them off. I’ll follow through.”
“On it.” I bolted around the long way.
There were a couple of ways to go, but most led to dead ends. So they’d have to come out near Evers street. If not then Deckerd would corner them. At the end I waited by the wall and listened. It was going to be fun to scare them. It didn’t take too long. I could hear Deckerd call for them to stop and their stressed cursing. I stepped into their path with a grin.
“Boo!”
They scattered. One turned around only to pause when he realized they were trapped. Another just slid and fell back. The third was moving back and forth unsure where to go in his panic.
“Sorry kiddos. Games over.”
It was a simple thing to keep them trapped while human police came to get them and sort through the car. Short as it was, it was fun.
“See? What’d I tell you? Fun. Nothing world ending happened either.” I spoke on our way back.
“I don’t think it was necessary to scare them like that.”
“Oh come on. A good scare was good for them. And you have to admit it was funny. You saw them. They didn’t know what to do.” I laughed and he laughed along with me.
“Just don’t make a habit of it. We don’t need anyone finding a problem with it.”
“Yeah, yeah. Don’t scare kids too often. Got it.”
The rest of the way back was peaceful. I had to admit that I was in a far better mood now. The ride had been nice, but to actually work after so long even if it was just some kids really made my circuits sing. It was a relief after being stuck for so long. When we parked I was ready to head back and top myself off after all the excitement.
“Gunmax?”
“Ya?”
I turned and I could feel my mood drop. Of course it wouldn’t last. He looked like he had before we had gone off. That tension was creeping back in.
“I’m sorry.”
“What are you apologizing for now?”
“For what happened. We didn’t know what was going to happen. We didn’t know that it would hurt you to go too far or to even fight them.”
“I thought we went over this.”
“I want to make sure that I’ve done everything I can to fix this.”
“It’s fine.” I began with a huff.
“It isn’t. We drove you away with our behavior and made things worse for you. We just… wanted to keep you from getting hurt like that again. To protect you from what we actually could.”
“Red and Blue.”
“Yes. We couldn’t touch the coding so we tried to guard you from the source and we ended up making you feel alone enough to go to them. I’m sorry, Gunmax. For putting you through that and making you feel like we didn’t trust you anymore.”
“It’s over and done with. Enough with the dramatics. I’m not angry about that anymore.”
“You forgive us?”
“Che. What did I just say?”
“Can… Can I hear you say it?”
“I forgive you. There. We good now?” I huffed and he smiled.
“Yes. Thank you.”

I have another lovely commission to share! This one is a sequel to the last, with the Brave Police spending more time on the Lost Light to answer questions, and it's just as precious in my opinion!
"Now, now, there's room for everyone. Single file please!"
Ultra Magnus thankfully had ample experience and skill getting his voice to fill the entire classroom, and so the crowd was able to take their seats in a mostly organized fashion at last, filling up the entire room from back to front in short order. Scarcely a single bot on the ship wasn't present for the day's presentation, and one glance at the tightly packed rows of tables made that obvious. No one wanted to miss the long awaited event.
At the head of the classroom, Ultra Magnus murmured about the ill manners being displayed to their guests before nodding at the bots in question. Sitting in their own row at the raised stage, the Brave Police looked like a full representation of all the reactions possible for the center of attention. Some were happy, others flustered, and a few quite casual about all the fuss. Deckerd, ever the responsible leader, held his small collection of notes tightly as he nodded in return to the much bigger bot. Rodimus took that as his cue to hop on stage.
With a single whistle, the captain reduced the fog of chatter to absolute silence, something he took with a proud smile before speaking.
"Alright, everybot, you know the drill! The Brave Police have been kind enough to agree to this little Q and A panel, so let's show them the proper courtesy while they're up here." he announced happily, looking about the crowd and lingering his optics on a few potentially troublesome bots in particular. Making sure to use his Captain voice, he leveled a serious look at each as he issued his warning. "That means no talking unless you get called, and no hogging the mic when it's your turn."
"Discipline will be administered if anyone breaks these rules." Ultra Magnus said, finalizing the warning with an undeniably serious threat. Beyond a few nervous glances, the room remained frozen in total silence after the big bot went back to his dutiful watch. No one present would dare risk incurring the wrath of Ultra Magnus, not even for the questions that they wanted answered more than anything.
"Sooo…" Rodimus interjected, taking back the stage briefly to try and bring some life back into the event. Gesturing to the main guests, he gave the best parting warm up he could before stepping off the stage. "Without further ado, I'm going to give the show over to them. All yours, Deckerd!"
Clearing his throat politely, the police cruiser stood up on his spot, briefly taking hold of the rim on his hat-like helm accent as he often did when nervous. Taking hold of his notes, he spoke up with the somewhat ineffectual tone of a practiced but uncom public speaker.
"To start, we would all like to offer our thanks! For everything you've done, and for allowing us this opportunity, you have our deepest gratitude." the well mannered bot said humbly, briefly glancing at Rodimus for a flash of pointed thanks before returning to his notes. The captain couldn't help but puff up a little, quite proud of his suggestion all over again, but he was otherwise still and silent as he watched.
"Now, I understand you have many questions, and we are happy to answer them as a group or individuals." he explained, looking to his teammates for group confirmation. Each gave some form of assent, ranging from Duke's proper and stiff nod to Gunmax putting his pedes on the table with a vague gesture of agreement. Deckerd merely narrowed his optics for an instant before returning his smile to the crowd. "Through the system, I will begin the process of selection!"
A button on the desk, intended as a method of selecting students to answer questions, was activated. Every bot froze in anticipation that they might be selected first, with each hoping they might be the lucky winner. Magnus had mandated the algorithm select at random to prevent any cries of unfair choice for good reason…
So of course it was quite fitting that Whirl of all bots get the first question.
A group groan was cut off by another Magnus stare, yet the orderly mech was clearly beyond apprehensive at the possible chaos about to unfold. Uncaring of the tension his selection created for the crew, Whirl merely cleared his vents and stood up with obvious purpose, having planned his potential query well in advance of the moment. Looking to the bots on stage, his optic betrayed little emotion as he spoke. "So uh, were you guys actually built by humans? From scratch? Processor and all?"
There was an immediate cringe amongst the entire crew, as the question was immeasurably rude by Cybertronian standards, but the Brave Police didn't flinch.
"Yes!" Deckerd replied happily, completely unaffected by the cultural faux pas he'd just had directed his way. "Each of us was constructed by the Japanese police force, starting with myself."
"Except for Duke, he was made by the Scotland Yard." McCrane specified, drawing attention to the brightly colored and reserved mech at the end. The attention actually seemed to fluster Duke, who flashed an expression of surprise to be singled out before dropping his gaze and quietly confirming the fact.
"That is correct."
There was a moment of mixed murmuring amongst the crowd, with Whirl looking satisfied to have gotten his answer along with getting the ball rolling, and he sat down to allow the next bot a turn. It took just as little time for the next selection to occur as the first.
"How recently was that, exactly?" Swerve said, looking confused but happy to be the central figure of the moment. It was a much less disrespectful question by Cybertronian standards than the first, and the bots on stage appeared equally content to answer it.
"As of this date, it has been four years and five months since my activation." Deckerd replied casually, unintentionally sending a wave of disbelief through the entire room. This mature, well rounded bot was barely more than a protoform?!
"We were constructed seven months later." McCrane said, speaking for the Build Team with a gesture that only deepened the shock in the room. Deckerd was young even by human standards, yet he was still the oldest one on the team? How young was the newest among them?
"Shadow Maru was next, by about a year, then six months later I joined up!" Drill Boy declared loudly, loving the surprise each answer drew from the crowd. Gunmax, equally a fan of stirring things up, smirked confidently as he leaned back in his chair.
"I haven't even been kicking around for a year." he declared smugly, adding to the shock of the bots several times over. Sure, Cybertronians were ready to go in mere hours, but no one had been born in so long… to be confronted by a mechanical being so young was nearly unfathomable. Not to mention that the oldest among them was still so inexperienced! A fresh wave of hushed gossip washed over those assembled, only to fade out into silent anticipation as the next opportunity for a question presented itself.
"What kind of criminals are you fighting? Most of the time, anyway." a bot in back asked, making the Brave Police perk up as a group. Like anyone, the opportunity to retell their adventures was hardly one they'd ever pass up, and even the humble Deckerd was a little boastful as he set up their panel to reply.
"Our division is uniquely suited to handle threats too powerful for humans to safely combat. The criminals we face have a multitude of motives, and it is not uncommon for us to face creatures designed to cause maximum destruction. I will allow my team to recount some of these events in greater detail." he said, opening up the discussion with a smile and a nod. There was a shift in the classroom as if every being leaned forward at once in anticipation.
"The underground bug people were my first mission!" Drill Boy announced proudly, unintentionally creating far more questions than he could have ever hoped to answer in a single sentence. Gobsmacked expressions were shared all through the crew, even by Ultra Magnus and Rodimus at the front. While they'd figured their new friends got into some wild adventures, like themselves, there was clearly so much more to the group than they'd let on…
"There was a giant moth one time." Dumpson recalled thoughtfully, only adding fuel to the fire with his calm expression of thoughtful recollection.
"Don't forget the giant panda." McCrane said helpfully, the tiniest hint of a smile hinting that he was perfectly well aware of the reactions they were getting. Rodimus had to admire the skillful stirring of the pot. Some bots were taking notes now, especially as the list continued to grow and the Brave Police grew no less unpredictable in their retellings. Brief tidbits about mind control, ghosts, aliens and cults were undoubtedly going to spawn some incredible conversations at Swerve's later on.
Drill Boy finished the segment with a beaming smile. "Without the Boss, I don't think we'd have been able to catch that brainwashing nun!"
While every single adventure would have probably called for a panel of questions in its own right, that statement alone made for an excellent segway into something every single Lost Light bot had been curious about, and the moment the next bot was selected they said what everyone was thinking. "Who's this "Boss" we keep hearing about? Are they a bot like you?"
"Our Boss Yuuta Tomonaga is a human boy, and the first being I ever met. He became my first and most trusted companion." Deckerd replied, smiling affectionately at the description. It had been clear from the onset he cared deeply for his mysterious "Boss", yet most had assumed them to be something like an Amica, or perhaps an older mentor bot. To hear they were a human, and one that sounded exceptionally young at that…? Deckerd recognized the confusion, and while obviously a little bashful to be so open, he was more than happy to talk about the achievements of his dearest friend. "I owe him my life, several times over."
"Many of us have gained human friendships." Power Joe said helpfully, taking some of the pressure off their leader and bringing the attention to himself. Not missing the opportunity to brag, he gestured proudly to himself. "I've befriended many of Yuuta's classmates, they see me as a superhero!"
"Yuuta's sisters are compatriots of mine." Shadow Maru said in a polite and subtle one up, setting the stage for the others to continue naming their friends.
"Hmph, I'm the only one besides Deckerd to have called Yuuta by his first name." Drill Boy bragged.
"Colonel Seia has taught me much through our professional relationship." McCrane said calmly, returning the focus to one of individual bonds over boasting. Unfortunately, Dumpson chuckled and quickly took aim at the comment.
"Are you sure it's entirely professional?"
McCrane froze for a second, optics widening and face flushing, before he calmly folded his hands on the table and replied. "I could say the same of you and Ayako."
"I suppose Shunsuke and I get along okay." Gunmax said somewhat dismissively, cutting off Dumpson before he could stammer out something he'd regret. The fact that every bot seemed to have a complex and long standing relationship with humans was quite the surprise to many crewmembers, especially those who only knew the species from second hand accounts. The Brave Police weren't too different from Cybertronians, so if they could find friends amongst Earth's inhabitants, maybe it was possible for everyone? More than a few of those in the audience were considering visiting to see for themselves when the attention turned to the only member who hadn't given an answer.
Lowering his helm to hide his optics from view, Duke appeared to be blushing as he spoke into his microphone, his volume barely more than a murmur as he did so.
"My Lady, Regina, is very important to me…"
While the statement undoubtedly had plenty to unpack, Deckerd mercifully chose to move on, selecting the next lucky audience member. Tailgate stood up in a flash, getting up on his chair and raising his arm so everyone could see him. Smiling with excitement, he was nevertheless quite polite in his tone when he asked his question. "You can transform, right? What are your altmodes?"
"I transform into a police cruiser." Deckerd said simply, earning some nods of approval from the audience. That was a fairly solid alternate mode, from their perspective, and fit quite well with his appearance and abilities. As the team each volunteered their own altmode, there was little fanfare.
"I'm a dump truck."
"My alternate mode is called a power shovel."
McCrane was the first to smile, though his good humor was shared when he gave his answer. "A crane, fittingly enough."
"I have two; a drill and a jet!" Drill Boy declared with a puffed out chest, and the mood went from calm to shocked all over again. Though he had no concept of a triple changer, the young bot knew that having a plurality of modes was special, and the audible gasps confirmed his guess. Rodimus cast Drift a look of surprise from the stage, speaking without words as they so often did. Not only did this guy have two altmodes, but a drill and a jet? Could you get any more wild? Drift replied with an equally stunned but good natured shrug.
"Like Deckerd, I transform into a police cruiser." Shadow Maru said simply, giving his younger friend a look that drew out a very unhappy pout. Sitting up with a smile, he continued and made very clear why his companion was so upset, and in doing so only made the room erupt once more. "I can also take the form of a tank, a jet, and a canine."
Gasps filled the classroom, and even Ultra Magnus was too shocked to silence them, his jaw dropping in total disbelief at what he'd just heard. Five modes?! Not only that, he was a beastformer to boot?! The ninjabot smiled somewhat smugly at the reactions, getting a few looks from his friends that ranged from jealous to bemused as whispered conversations rushed through the bots. Most had never even heard of such an ability, and yet here he was, a bot from earth with so much talent! Several made a note to ask him for tips as Duke took advantage of the chaos to get his simple reply out of the way.
"I am an ambulance."
The medics of the ship all shared a look at what only they seemed to hear, wondering if perhaps the shy bot knew a few things about human medicine he might share with them later. In the murmurs that followed, however, there came a considerable silence as everyone realized the most anticipated answer had not yet been given.
Gunmax leaned back further in his seat, making a face few could decipher when all the attention zeroed in on him. Pretending to cough, he spoke just loudly enough for his mic to pick up his answer. "Don't have one."
Somebot made a comment about "Monoformers'' before Deckerd stepped in, reading the emotions of his friend as well as the room to skillfully redirect them. It saved Rodimus the trouble of jumping in to make an example of the bot who'd made the comment.
"Gunmax typically has a motorbike, one that he can merge with to form a very powerful weapon." he explained, looking at the visor that allowed the mech in question to hide so many of his emotions. A flash of gratitude behind the veneer of apathy allowed him to continue with a smile. "When I combine with J-Decker, I can utilize that weapon for defeating extremely powerful foes."
"We can also combine!" Drill Boy added enthusiastically, pointing to the Build Team and perking up the entire crowd with references to "combining" of all things. Combiners were a precious rarity amongst their own kind, could the humans have truly mastered such technology in addition to multiforming?
"Yes, Dumpson, Power Joe and myself form the Build Tiger." McCrane replied helpfully, gesturing to the group of them and further compounding the confusion. How could they all transform into a single entity, their colors didn't even match! Not only that, but the name absolutely baffled those who had been to earth and those who hadn't. The crane bot only continued his talk and further confounded his audience. "With Drill Boy, our abilities are increased, and we form the Super Build Tiger."
Deckerd, wanting to discuss other things, was granted mercy when he selected Brainstorm via the system.
"What kind of energy do your weapons fire?" he asked, having observed the holsters and folded rifles some of them carried. Being intensely curious as to whether earth had progressed beyond the initial steps of plasma based projectiles, he waited eagerly for a reply.
"Most are based on shells, similar to what humans utilize but on a larger scale." Deckerd said, helpfully taking out his pistol to show what he meant. Metallic bullets fell from the chamber and into his cupped palm, unintentionally shocking the scientist and the more ballistic trained crewmembers. Primitive lead based projectiles, fired by simple chemical reactions?! How were these bots just as intelligent as themselves but defending their lives with the Cybertronian equivalent of stone age technology?!
"Yes, that's what my shotgun fires." McCrane added, patting the sizable weapon on his back as Brainstorm noted a million potential improvements he might offer before they left.
Shadow Maru, somewhat for the sake of dry comedic effect, unsheathed a blade from his back and shrugged as he held it up. "Personally, I prefer swords."
Laughter rippled through the audience, though Rodimus caught the clear sight of Drift looking far more like he wanted to applaud the other bot who seemed to gel so well with him. Unable to keep a grin off his face at the friendship forming before his optics, the captain considered setting up a communication line on earth so they could all stay in touch going forward.
"Where do you all live?" a shy bot said when selected next, bringing to mind how their home planet didn't seem to be built for beings as large as themselves.
"I stay with Yuuta each night, in the garage. His family has made it my personal home, and I keep them safe." Deckerd replied, describing the situation quite wistfully despite the uncertain expressions that flashed before him. The idea of staying within a single room, like a machine for storage… even bots who didn't mind resting in their altmode couldn't wrap their heads around the idea.
"The rest of us stay at the base, but we're free to go where we please when not on duty." McCrane added, wanting to dispel any ideas that they were at all confined. His words did indeed provide some reassurance, especially considering that a few had been considering "liberating" their new friends if necessary.
"When we travel for work, we live wherever we can." Dumpson said, recalling the many times they'd each had to go across the planet undercover. That notion was quite relatable to the group of travelers, especially those who had gone long periods of time without any home to speak of. Needing to find somewhere suitable while moving undercover had been their existence for years.
Gunmax perked up a little at the topic sitting forward a bit so he could be heard as he extolled the wonders of driving around on his bike. "The roads go on for miles, and some have pretty nice views."
When the next question was called, the Brave Police as a group found it was their turn to be surprised.
"Do you like earth?"
In another turn of events that no one could have predicted, it was Duke who spoke up first, saying his piece simply but confidently before returning to his usual silence.
"It is the only planet we've ever known, and I would have it no other way."
"Earth has everything dear to us." Deckerd confirmed, a barely contained gleam of pride shining from his optics, both for their home and his friend. Everything about the planet was dear to him, from the life that flourished there to the people who had made him, and he wasn't at all ashamed to say as much. That was something each and every member of the Brave Police could agree on, and in order, they all expressed the same sentiment.
"Earth has everything we could ever want." McCrane added plainly, looking like he wanted to say more but was held back by his own reservations. The simple smile on his face spoke volumes for him, thankfully. His past mentions of friendship and more with humans resonated deeply with certain bots in the audience.
"We fight lots of bad guys, but that's to keep all the good humans safe, and they're more than worth it." Dumpson said, sharing a glance with Power Joe, who immediately agreed. The big bots many small friends made his answer and confirmation quite easy.
"Most of the people that live there like us, and we like them too. They have a lot to teach us." he said, recalling his love for martial arts as well as everything else he'd ever been passionate about. The need for patience, the importance of seeing the bright side of life, mentoring the younger beings around oneself… Speaking of the younger, Drill Boy jumped in to reply with his own experiences.
"They've invented all kinds of cool games and sports for us to play!" he said happily, tapping the soccer ball in his chest to emphasize his point. The sport was a genuine passion for him, and without humans he wouldn't have it to enjoy. Slightly more bittersweet thoughts of the many adventures he'd had, and the beings he'd met and lost, but wouldn't trade for anything made him smile far more softly. Tapping his digits together, he added a soft addendum to make his point. "Plus they make lots of other cool things."
"There's not much better than going for a drive on earth, or watching the sunset." Gunmax said in agreement, nodding and closing his optics as he played the memories in his mind. The crew talked plenty about their home of Cybertron, and while it sounded wonderful, he doubted anything could ever surpass his home. One of his first memories was going for a drive on a beautiful day, and he didn't believe any planet could ever offer anything more. Not that he'd be opposed to visiting somewhere else...
"It's our home, and it always will be." Deckerd concluded, unintentionally making the crowd a little emotional with his dedication. A far quieter whisper of conversations briefly passed through them all, this time centered almost entirely on the planet in question. Sure, these bots hadn't ever known another world, but they made their own sound quite wonderful. The many who'd never had a chance to see earth were suddenly feeling quite a bit of longing and curiosity of their own. When the quiet descended once again and Deckerd selected the next bot, the query was hardly a surprise.
"Can we come visit you all sometime?"
The entire team exchanged a look, and Deckerd glanced at Rodimus with the kind of knowing smiles leaders could share when they knew what was happening. While the logistics of such a thing would be a nightmare, there could be no denying the eager faces all around, and any potential benefits were far too great to ignore. Though it would be an impossible amount of work, they both nodded to one another in agreement.
"We would be honored to have you as guests, just as you have taken us into your home."

ya got any general nsfw headcanons for power joe and duke with a fem s/o? im thorsty and no one else writes for brave police! thank you! 👀
Power Joe
Doesn't know he's horny until it's raging. He really should pay more attention before he pops his panels on live tv.
Lots of stamina. With human partners he goes until they tire. Where with other bots he's willing got a little beyond. Can get a little lazy during the act having his partner to most of the work for a bit. He does his best to repay it later in the session or next time.
Power Joe is most confidant in using his dick. He doesn't really take to receiving easily but can be persuaded to. It's easier for Power Joe to cum with it as well. Is often what he resorts to when having to relieve himself.
Likes a more vocal partner but doesn't mind a silent one if he can get them to squirm. He gets a bit huffy if his partner purposely stays till to bug him.
Duke
The shyest of the Brave Police about anything sexual. Is flustered if any advances are tossed is way. Some people on the team abuse this fact.
Doesn't make the first move unless he's in a romantic relationship with someone. He'll politely ask for them to get physical. His body warm and overheating. Fans working turn to working overtime when his partner agrees.
Very selfless in the act. He often forgets that he himself should be enjoying it. Not that he doesn't enjoy pulling orgasms out of his partner. He might not even pop open his panels before his partner is spent.
Enjoys going down on his partners. Seeing them up close and easy feeling them over under him. Oral is his go to and he becomes skilled in that area. If his partner was to be able to pleasure Duke after he gets started. They'd have to be tall enough to be about to sixty-nine(69) him.
Bonus:Deckerd(Cause I started writing him before I realized it said Duke not Deckerd oops)
Considers sex an intimate time between partners and isn't into casual sex but it occasionally happens. Doesn't have a preference if his partner is bot or human.
Very observant he notes everything about his partner he thinks is important. How they like to be touched. What they hate. Genitalia preferences if applicable. What kind of lube they prefer. Deckerd likes to be clear on where boundaries are and is open to try kinks.
Asks to kiss even mid bang. He's a respectable gentleman no matter the scenario.
Likes to hold his partners for a bit after copulation. Aftercare is a must and Deckerd urges his partner to wash off before post-sex nap. Most likely to engage in pillow talk.

Seia getting McCrane in the mood.
"McCrane."
McCrane looked up from his table, up at Seina. She had bags in her hands, and he sighed in relief. Finally, a break. It was late in the night, and McCrane had offered to take most of the paperwork for the night. Everyone else had their lives to live anyway. Gunmax and Deckerd had a date, Shadowmaru was taking Duke out for a night on the town, Power joe was updating his burger blog (apparently an all night endeavor), Drillboy was on Yuuta guard duty that night, and Dumpson was out with Ayako. McCrane wanted everyone to enjoy themselves, so he offered to take care of the paperwork needed for today. It was the work of seven, done by one. Seina offered to keep him company, and it made his core swell, knowing he had her support.
"Ah, Seina. Thank you. I appreciate you going all the way across town to get us a little pick me up. You've done too much tonight."
"Oh it's not a problem, McCrane. You deserve a break as much as the next person does. Now take your break."
"Gladly. Thank you."
He waited for her to open the paper bag. She got a burger that was highly raved about in Power Joe's blog (everyone followed him in support. It was way better than his show reviews, but McCrane was proud of him nonetheless), while McCrane got gis absolute favorite food; an extra large helping of extra spicy Ramen. The broth made from this place was nothing short of sublime. It took all day to simmer to perfection, and wasn't overly spicy. Good spicy food tastes spicy, but wasn't overwhelming to the palate. The broth was a dark brown in color, combined with just pinches of Shichimi, Karashi, and a pinch of wasabi. He brought the container close to his nose, and smelled. Perfection. He picked up his chopsticks (in case you're wondering, yes they made this in quite the large size, just for McCrane. And yes she carried it up here with little to no effort, she strong) and pulled up some noodles, slurping along. It sunk into his tanks, releasing heat to the rest of his system. Bliss. He lightly bumped his container against her wrapped burger, smiling. There was nothing in the air besides the sounds of blissful eating, and it was comfortable. McCrane could honestly go all night just sitting there in nothingness, enjoying her company.
"McCrane?"
"Yes?"
"I just wanted to say I admire you. For all the work you're doing."
"It's nothing, really. Everyone has lives to live, I'm merely happy I could help. I apologize that we couldn't go out on a date like you suggested earlier."
"Oh no, this counts as a date. Me, you, some food. It's better here anyway, not so stuffy as some restaurant."
McCrane smiled, leaning down to peck at the top of her head.
"Thank you. I really was worried you were disappointed."
Seina didn't say anything in response, choosing to chew on her burger and looking away. He knew that look. Seina wasn't a meek woman by any means, but she did halt her words whenever she worried it would upset him. One of those optional words.
"Seina. You can tell me if you are really are disappointed. You wanted something, didn't you?"
"Well...yes. But it's something you have to fall into the mood for."
"Fall in the mood for? I fell for you, does that count?"
Seina looked up at him, only to chuckle into her free hand. McCrane wasn't stupid by any means, but he was certainly ignorant towards certain things. Like her hints. It wasn't too bad, afterall, she was more than happy to explain what she meant. She set her food down, and motioned him to do the same. He took a quick slurp of his broth, before obeying, setting his container down. She lifted her hands up, and held onto his cheeks. He always loved doing this. She looked so happy, so at peace. Life was chaos, but moments of peace, like this, made it all worth it.
"I wasn't hoping for TOO much, I was just...expecting us to have a nice night out, you know, take me back home to bed.."
McCrane raised a brow. He was reading her face, trying to come to his own conclusion of what she meant.
"Are you...saying you'd like to go home? I can take you home if you'd like."
"No, I just."
She inhaled, and decided to try again. She kissed at his chin, making him freeze. He was always left breathless by those lips.
"McCrane...I want you to touch me."
"Not...how we're doing right now. Right?"
"Exactly. Do you understand?"
"I...think I do. If you could...further explain, however."
They both grinned at each other. McCrane wasn't known for his humor, but this bot always had the tendency to make her laugh. She pressed her lips against his, and watched him just sink into it. Her lips were always soft and smooth. But most importantly, they were firm, just as she was. And he loved her. He moved his lips away from hers, only to wander down lower. He buried his face into her chest, pressing his lips against her shirt. Due to his size, she had to toss her head back to give him more access. And he adored that. Adored having her just sink into his palm and accept his kisses. Adored watching those sharp eyes grow soft. He felt hands on his head, and stopped. He was wondering if he did something wrong, when she started unbuttoning her shirt. She didn't take it all the way off, but rather, left it unbuttoned.
"S-sorry. Please, continue."
"Gladly."
He kissed her forehead, before doing as she requested, burying his face in her chest, kissing and lightly licking between her breasts. McCrane wasn't as much into chests as Dumpson was, but they did feel nice. They were soft, smooth, and she was only growing weaker and weaker, squirming and moaning. McCrane used his free hand to carefully let a finger wander between her legs. She was already damp. Poor woman. Worked so hard, and loved so much. She deserved letting go, and she deserved having someone to help her. His glossa graced one of her breasts, gliding over one of her nipples. She was about to beg for more, when they both froze in place.
"YO! McCrane!!! Getting BUSY!"
McCrane pulled away, seeing Gunmax in the hallway, with a rather tipsy looking Deckerd.
"G-Gunmax! You're back early!"
"Yeah, gotta make out with this drunk loser. Hey Seina, you never told me you did poorly in school. Because damn I see only D's"
Seina covered her chest, rather frazzled. Gunmax snorted.
"Ah I'm just poking fun. I'll leave you guys alone, try not to be too messy. Or do. Just clean up after. Peace, lovelies!"
Gunmax carried the other back to the room, and McCrane sighed.
"I-Im sorry. I understand if you'd like to cut it quits-"
She pulled him into her chest, and huffed.
"No. Get to work, soldier."
McCrane couldn't help but let off steam. Greed was a hideous emotion...but damn did she make it look good.
