Frisk IS Chara. Or, at least, Frisk is Chara's body, reformated into a vessel for The Soul. Perhaps that's why Chara can make contact with Frisk, which apparently not even Asriel can do despite merging with their soul, and mistakes Frisk for Chara so easily and without doubt. Puts the "partner" term in a new light.

Then again, Frisk seems to have a personality outside of The Soul, but it could simply be The Soul projecting itself onto it's vessel, as, unlike Kris, Chara is not in the vessel to hinder it.

But, if they are their own person, why don't they fight against The Soul's control? Are they too weak? Unwilling to do so? Perhaps even a willing vessel? Or it doesn't work at all like Deltarune and I'm just pulling all of this outta my arse.

Anyways, you can start throwing the rocks and tomatoes now.

For you undertale timeline 

This is only something little and is probably either an oversight or a stylistic choice but I haven’t seen anyone else mention it and I thought it was worth mentioning. 

When Chara falls there are pillars in the first room of the ruins, with vines growing on them. By the time Frisk falls they’re gone. I don't know how much time would have to pass for them to wither away but I assume it would be a long time.

Maybe this is a controversial opinion? Or maybe no one cares, but the more I see headcanons about Nightmare Sans, the more I relate him to Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen) and Makima (Chainsaw Man). 

From a more canonical perspective, so to speak, Nightmare is cruel, ruthless, and clearly enjoys seeing others suffer—especially since he feeds on negative emotions. I can relate this a lot to Sukuna, as both simply don’t care about the people they’re supposed to care about! They just want chaos, and if that involves the suffering of those around them, they’ll create chaos without a second thought.

Now talking about Killer Sans and Cross Sans, both of whom have Nightmare in their original lore, Nightmare seems to view them as mere pets, some kind of toy he can discard when he loses interest. Like Makima, he seems to enjoy teasing certain promises to his puppets, only to not fulfill them or manipulate them later to show that he was right or that they knew what they were getting into when they made a contract with him.

I don’t know, I just thought about this and wanted to share it somewhere.

It's midnight and I am trying to fall asleep as some do and Loox Eyewalker randomly pops into my head. And I realize that their name was so supposedly funny because it sounds like Luke Skywalker. Now I can't go to bed because that's so stupid yet so obvious and it took me months to get.

sorry about that last rambling post, i didnt mean to sound like its worse than it may be, but i got no ... lense to view it through but my own, and the main reason i wrote it out anyway was bc i needed to get it out (even if posting it might be not the greatest idea) .. and bc it kinda showcases, i think, how my stories kinda write themselves, involuntarily in a way? its not like im not putting in any effort- but its like .. i cant STOP it always keeps going and even the dumbest idea stays in some form, its very hard to get everything in place bc theres so much going on all the while i am very slow at making anything, writing or drawing anything, especially anythign coherent is very hard bc not only do i get constantly distracted, i get distracted by my own thoughts suddendly skipping to a certain scene and me having to go throguh imagining in detail NO MATTER how many times i have done it before for the same scene that i already decided on how it goes, when theres a new idea it can take over my entire day bc i cant let go of it-

not trying to sound either like im the only that has that sort of problem, but i think its a big part as of why i start tso many projects without being able to finish them, or even start them bc i constantly have to fight my own thoughts from derailing into another daydream session, thinking of too much too fast than i can ever draw or even write about and not knowing what is worthwhile and what isnt (im telling you i have no idea what is good and what isnt, idk why but for all i know all things i do could be trash, or they all could be bad, maybe the one i thinnk is decent is actually worse than the things i deem not good enough and once i start to think no this isnt good enough i stop having fun making or thinking it bc im trying to do better

honestly its kind of impressive that i can get anything out at all, not to pat myself on the back there but even if i hate how long it takes me, considering how much im having to work just to start working on something at all, the fact that i could post stuff coherent enough for some people to understand AND LIKE is something i should be a little more proud of

So basically: Me - My Anxiety + Papyrus = Tempus. Because if I had more confidence and no anxiety I'd probably be arrogant ajhfjahfjadsjhda

"Sans" in this, universe ig?, is the skelebros last name lol. Because Tempus Sans is one of the closest fonts to Papyrus and it's funny. Sans goes by his last name now. Tempus calls him Comic sometimes to mess with him (or in serious situations maybe)

What if Sans' invincibility frames were inspired by a hiccup during development?

Think about it: Toby programs damage into the game but forgets to add I-frames resulting in ludicrous damage during playtesting. While I have never programmed a game, invincibility frames are something the casual player never thinks about, so it seems like an easy mechanic to forget to add.

So Toby Fox realises he needs to add invincibility frames to his game and does so. But when it came to making the Sans fight, a fight against an character who you'd never expect to be strong but breaks all the rules, he remembered how the lack of I-frames made the even the easiest enemies do stupid damage and removed them again for this fight.

Now I don't believe this (I have no proof), but it's interesting to think about.
