We're definitely going back to rink-o-mania in S5.

If S4 was all about Will feeling unseen, then in S5 they have to subvert that. And the thing is, they've already given us not only crumbs, but Actual Text via Mike Wheeler himself about this. Let's observe the evidence and then I'll tell you what I think ...

Yeah, Will was the center of Mike's attention at rink-o-mania. Before the whole world went to shit. When life was still relatively normal, Mike's attention was on him.

My guess is we will revisit this idea for whatever reason, but my main point here is that we will see Mike looking at Will without Will realizing it. And he'll likely be bathed in lights / framed by the crystal ball, etc etc

In S4, there were moments where Will seemed to be picking up on Something, and he might've even wondered if maybe he was just Seeing Things That Weren't There.

But what matters is that S4 Mike has achieved his purpose: to hide. By the time S5 starts, any last vestiges of hope Will had of his love being reciprocated died right here:
