Hey guys! The zoo I volunteer at is in its last month of fundraising for our new Capuchin enclosure and we're only halfway there.

Some information about Natureland and why you might support us:

Natureland Wildlife Trust is a not-for-profit charity focused on conservation and welfare of both native and exotic animals.

All of the animals at Natureland were either born here, rescued locally or relocated from another zoo that didn't have space/didn't want them anymore. My dad likes to joke that I work at an animal retirement village. In fact, Natureland has the oldest porcupine in all of New Zealand!

Natureland is kept running by a team of talented zookeepers, as well as amazing volunteers. The grounds are fully accessible and we work hard to keep it that way for all visitors.

This has become a safe place for me over the time I have been working here. It gives me something to do and somewhere to be, as well as being staffed by some incredibly kind and friendly people.

The difference between the rp accounts and people writing fanfics sexualizing minors is you can filter that shit out. AO3, fanfiction.net, hell even Wattpad have ways to get rid of stuff you don't want to see (eg sexual stuff about minors). If you don't like it don't read it.

When you post stuff like this on the main tag there's no way to avoid it. WE WILL SEE IT. Whether we want to or not. I had no idea wtf was going on until I went into the Newsies tag and saw these posts against my will.

I have nothing against rp, I don't get it, I don't understand it but like you do you. UNLESS it is being forced down my throat every single time I click on the Newsies tab
