Lucifer arches an eyebrow, his usual composed expression shifting into one of amusement mixed with dangerous interest. He sets down his book slowly, turns his full attention to you, and walks over with deliberate, slow steps.

"Oh? That’s quite bold of you, saying something like that so casually. I suppose you’re testing me... But if you're asking for discipline, I do hope you're ready to take full responsibility for that mouth of yours."

He smirks, brushing a strand of your hair aside with one gloved finger.

"Let’s see how long you can maintain that cheeky attitude once I start."

Mammon

"You must be a magician, 'cause every time you’re around, your clothes disappear... in my head."


Mammon immediately turns red, his hands flying up in defense.

"H-Hey! W-What kind of joke is that?! Are ya tryin' to kill me with embarrassment?!"

He stammers, flustered and blushing, glancing around as if someone else heard you. But then, a cocky grin starts forming despite himself.

"Tch, I mean... I can't blame ya for imaginin' me like that, though. I am the Great Mammon, after all. B-But next time, maybe warn me before droppin’ bombs like that, alright?!"

He nervously tapping his feet on the ground, clearly affected more than he wants to admit.

Leviathan

"You’re like an ultra-rare item drop... 'cause I’ve been grinding all day, and now I just wanna play with you."


Levi chokes on his soda and nearly drops his console.

"Wha—?! E-EHHH?! D-Don’t say stuff like that out of nowhere! I—I’m not emotionally prepared for that kind of side quest!"

His face goes cherry red and he covers his mouth, clearly overloaded.

"I-I mean… i-if this were a dating sim, that'd definitely be a secret route! A very NSFW one... N-Not that I’m complaining! I just—uh—h-how do you even say something like that so casually?!"

He fidgets with his console and mumbles something under his breath what more like whining.

Satan

"Are you a forbidden book? Because I want to spend all night exploring your dark secrets."


Satan closes his current novel and gives you an amused smirk, his green eyes glinting mischievously.

"How delightfully wicked. I didn’t expect such a provocative line from you. And you delivered it so... naturally."

He leans closer, resting his elbow on the back of the couch, studying you like a puzzle he’s eager to solve.

"I suppose I could be your ‘forbidden book’ tonight ,though I must warn you, the content is... intense, and once you start, you won't want to stop reading."

He winks, brushing your hand with his fingertips.

Asmodeus

Asmo gasps, putting a hand dramatically over his heart.

He bursts into giggles, already leaning into you with a flirty glimmer in his eyes.

Beelzebub

Beel pauses mid-bite, blinking at you with wide eyes. It takes a second for the joke to sink in... and then he blushes.

"Oh... wow. That was... unexpected."

He chuckles a bit, looking both flustered and deeply intrigued.

"I thought you were talking about actual dessert at first... but now I can’t stop thinking about you like that either. And honestly... I wouldn't mind making you my dessert tonight..."

He licks a bit of frosting off his finger ,very pointedly and gives you a shy but hungry smile.

Belphegor

"You’re like my pillow, soft, comforting, and I wanna be on top of you every night."


Belphie opens one eye from his nap, smirks, and slowly stretches.

"Mmm... that’s surprisingly bold for you. Trying to get me worked up before a nap? Naughty."

He yawns, but it’s clearly an act, he smiles and eyes shining with amusement.

"You keep talking like that and I won’t be able to sleep… though I might find a better way to get us tired and knock us out."

He pulls you down beside him, draping an arm lazily over your waist.

"Keep making jokes like that, and I’ll start taking them as invitations."

L’ANSIA DIGITALE E LA NOMOFOBIA

I dispositivi digitali sono intrusivi, sono invadenti, sono rumorosi, sono stressanti, sono tremendi, eppure non possiamo più farne a meno. 

Chi di noi avrebbe il coraggio di uscire di casa senza lo smartphone? Ormai lo smartphone è parte di noi. Lo smartphone è un prolungamento o un estensione del nostro cervello. 

Tutti noi, ormai, necessitiamo portare sempre con noi lo smartphone perché senza di esso ci sentiamo letteralmente disconnessi dal mondo.

Talmente è diventata forte questa dipendenza da smartphone che i giovani hanno sviluppato dei veri e propri disturbi psichici dovuti alla dipendenza tecnologica. 

La Nomofobia è una nuova e pericolosa patologia psicosociale causata dall’ansia digitale.

NOMOFOBIA:

«Le tecnologie informatiche digitali sono in grado di acutizzare diverse forme di fobie umane, come si può ben vedere nel caso di una variante dell’ansia da separazione inesistente fino a pochi anni fa e oggi entrata ad avere un ruolo importante nella vita di molti: la paura di essere separati da uno smartphone o di non poterlo utilizzare. 

L’espressione «ansia da separazione» appare assolutamente calzante visto che in ballo non vi è l’eliminazione delle possibilità di utilizzo di un qualsiasi dispositivo tecnologico, ma l’interruzione dei contatti sociali creati attraverso la tecnologia, dunque di «separazione» nel vero senso psicologico del termine.

Tale paura di non avere a disposizione il proprio telefono era già stata descritta nel 2008 dal britannico Steward Fox Mills ed esiste ormai un nuovo termine per indicarla: «nomofobia» («no mobile phone» e «fobia»). 

Un’indagine cui hanno partecipato 2.163 inglesi aveva rilevato che il 53% dei partecipanti prova una sensazione d’ansia quando la batteria del telefono o il credito della SIM stanno per scaricarsi, quando non c’è copertura di rete o quando non trovano il cellulare.

A causa di queste ansie, una persona su due non spegne mai il proprio cellulare. Secondo una relazione pubblicata su Psycology Today il 18 settembre 2014, tali forme d’ansia sono aumentate notevolmente proprio negli Stati Uniti.

Tra le persone che usano lo smartphone, i due terzi lo tengono accanto o con sé quando dormono (per non rimanere esclusi da nulla), un terzo di loro dichiara di aver usato lo smartphone anche durante rapporti intimi, un quinto preferirebbe uscire di casa senza scarpe piuttosto che senza smartphone, e più della metà non riesce a spegnerlo, non riesce cioè a sopportare la «separazione».

Nella rivista specializzata Computers In Human Behavior un gruppo di ricerca brasiliano discuteva il caso di un paziente di 30 anni affetto da nomofobia, sviluppata probabilmente a partire da una fobia sociale e curata con una combinazione di farmacoterapia e psicoterapia.

Uno studio indiano sulla nomofobia, condotto su 200 studenti di college (92% donne), aveva  individuato già nel 2010 un’incidenza del 18,5%. Negli Stati Uniti secondo i rilevamenti del 2014 sopra descritti, i due terzi di tutti gli utenti di cellulari (66%) soffrono di nomofobia.»*

Per concludere poniamoci una semplice domanda: che succederebbe se ci fosse un black out della Rete che durasse per più di una settimana? Forse la gente impazzirebbe e la società sprofonderebbe nel caos? Sembra un opzione più che plausibile…

Career Legacy Challenge: Rules

A Sims 4 completionist legacy challenge that plays through all the careers while aiming to complete all collections, rewards, aspirations, degrees, skills, using all traits and worlds in-game.

Basic Rules

Since there are 26 generations in all, heirs could be named alphabetically

Spouses must complete the other career track, unless there’s only one career branch

Spouses may complete the side quests, second aspiration, and/or after-school activity

University is optional except when an organization or an after-school activity is specified

The family museum should contain the collections, career rewards, and other memorabilia of the family. It can be a closed retail lot that is passed throughout the generations.

Ieri sera la camera dei deputati ha approvato a larghissima maggioranza il Ddl 1660, col quale senza troppi giri di parole, si istituisce in Italia lo stato di polizia.

🔴 Il blocco stradale e quindi gli scioperi diventano reato penale con condanne fino a 2 anni di carcere;

🔴 le proteste in carcere o nei Cpr possono essere punite col carcere fino a 20 anni;

🔴 idem per chi protesta contro le grandi opere;

🔴 Anche la "propaganda" delle lotte è punibile fino a 6 anni, essendo considerata "terrorismo della parola";

🔴carcere fino a 7 anni per chi occupa una casa sfitta o solidarizza con le occupazioni;

🔴 Fino a 15 anni per resistenza attiva

🔴 Fino a 4 anni per resistenza passiva (nuovo reato, ribattezzato "anti-Ghandi")

🔴 Facoltà per forze dell'ordine di detenere una seconda arma personale al di fuori di quella di ordinanza e al di fuori del servizio.

🔴 Carcere immediato anche per le madri incinte o con figli di età inferiore a un anno

🔴 Dulcis in fundo, si vieta agli immigrati senza permesso di soggiorno finanche l'uso del cellulare, vincolando l'acquisto della SIM al possesso del permesso.

Tutto ciò col silenzio complice delle "opposizioni parlamentari", le quali al di là di un voto contrario puramente di bandiera non hanno mosso un dito per contrastare realmente le nuove leggi "fascistissime", peggiorative rispetto allo stesso codice Rocco.

Anzi: su circa 160 parlamentari, al momento del voto a Montecitorio l'"opposizione" ne aveva in aula soltanto 91!!!

Non solo: prima della votazione finale del Ddl, PD e 5 stelle hanno presentato alcuni ordini del giorno (recepiti dal governo) che impegnavano quest' ultimo ad incrementare la spesa per assumere nuovi agenti di polizia e di guardie penitenziarie: l'ennesima riprova di come, al di la di qualche sfumatura, nella sostanza siano tutti uniti nella direzione di un inasprimento dei dispositivi repressivi, funzionale alla guerra e all'economia di guerra, cioè di fatto all'introduzione di una vera e propria legge marziale!

Ora la parola passa al senato, il quale sicuramente approverà in tempi brevi questa ignobile ed infame legge.

Sosteniamo la Rete Liberi di Lottare- fermiamo insieme il Ddl 1660."

Queer Book Recs for Speak Your Language Day!

Once a year on Tumblr on May 7th, the account @spyld organizes Speak Your Language Day, a day to encourage people on such an English-centric platform to speak their native languages instead. Duck Prints Press works with creators from over the world, many of whom speak languages other than English as their native tongues (French and German are most common among our folks, but they’re far from the only mother tongues) and so we wanted to join in the celebration for the day by highlighting some of our favorite queer works originally published in languages other than English. Hyuck estava andando pelo Parque Ibirapuera numa tarde de sábado, rindo de qualquer besteira que seu amigo Jaemin tinha dito, batendo a bola de basquete no chão enquanto caminhavam até a quadra do parque, até que o garoto parou quando ele te viu. Como nos filmes, ele jurou que o mundo ficou totalmente em câmera lenta enquanto você passava com suas amigas, e ele só tinha olhos para você. Ele mal conseguia entender o que estava acontecendo; você parecia atraí-lo para perto como um ímã.

Você, por outro lado, não tinha reparado no garoto. Estava distraída com alguma história da faculdade que suas amigas te contavam, já que estudavam em faculdades diferentes. Entretanto, uma das suas amigas reparou no grupo de jovens em roupas esportivas e comentou brevemente, mas você não deu muita bola; estava cansada de rapazes por conta de um relacionamento ruim.

Para a infelicidade de Haechan, nem os amigos dele ou as suas amigas tiveram coragem de dar o primeiro passo, e em poucos minutos, vocês se perderam um do outro na multidão de pessoas que tomava o parque naquele fim de semana, como era de costume. Haechan não conseguia entender como, dentre tantas pessoas, você chamou a atenção dele, e especialmente, por que você ficou gravada na memória dele como a letra da sua música favorita. “Eu vou lá falar com ela”, ele tentava se desvencilhar do amigo.

“Pior que ele tá certo dessa vez, acho que é a garota mesmo”, foi a vez de Jeno falar.

“Tá vendo? Eu não tô maluco”, Hyuck se vangloriou, sorrindo orgulhoso. “Como tá meu cabelo?”

“Igual à sua cara”, Chenle resmungou.

“Lindo então”, ele respirou fundo, ajeitando a mochila nas costas enquanto ia em sua direção. O coração dele batia no mesmo ritmo de uma escola de samba, mas ele não podia dar pra trás agora. “Licença, oi Isa, tudo bem?”

“Haechan, oi. Tudo sim e você?”, sua amiga respondeu, simpática como sempre e você só se preocupava em não ser pega encarando o garoto à sua frente.

“Aham, aliás… Aí, que falta de educação a minha. Donghyuck, mas meus amigos me chamam de Haechan”, ele sorriu enquanto se apresentava para você, estendendo a mão para que você segurasse.

Você respondeu timidamente com seu nome, o que fez com que o garoto sorrisse ainda mais enquanto beijava o dorso de sua mão.

“Você por acaso estaria interessada em almoçar comigo? Eu conheço um restaurante ótimo e você não parece ser daqui, nunca te vi no campus.”

“Ah, a Isa vai…”

“Na verdade, amiga, eu esqueci que tenho que ir na biblioteca, mas pode ir com o Haechan, ele é gente boa, prometo”, ela juntou suas coisas rapidamente, passando por Haechan. “Me deve uma”, ela sussurrou pro rapaz antes de sair em direção à biblioteca.

“Valeu”, ele sussurrou de volta antes de voltar o olhar para você. “Vamos?”

“Vamos sim”, você sorriu, acompanhando o rapaz para fora do campus enquanto os amigos dele te olhavam embasbacados com o que tinha acabado de acontecer.

I didn't follow his career after the break, only Noel's, and I'm curious as to why you said that, what did Debbie do, cause the only thing I know about her (and her relationship with Liam) is that she used to be his manager, then manager-girlfriend, that once he tried to strangle her and she was with him when he met Molly at that pub. Apart from that, I had no idea she had such an important role in the development of his career.

Vamos pelo começo: Debbie era funcionária de uma empresa chamada Quest Management que gerenciava alguns artistas. A empresa então envia Debbie para ser assistente do Beady Eye, acho que foi entre 2012/2013. Ela não era empresária da banda, ela só era assistente de turnê. Porém em algum momento em 2013 ela e o Liam começam a ficar próximos, e supostamente eles começam a "namorar" escondido por meses, e na mesma época Liam ainda era casado com a Nicole e possivelmente ainda estaria em contato com a Liza Ghorbani!

Liam então parou de falar com a Liza, e ela moveu uma ação na justiça de Nova York pedindo 2 Milhões de Dólares e pensão alimentícia pra filha. A ação foi aberta como "Anônimo Vs. Anônimo", mas vazou na imprensa que se tratava de uma celebridade do rock britânico e casado. Por alguns dias rolaram alguns boatos de quem seria. Nicole e as irmãs estavam nos Estados Unidos de férias com toda a família, incluindo Gene e Lennon (Liam planejava se juntar a ela depois de um show do Beady Eye em Ibiza... mas isso nunca aconteceu!). Nicole e as irmãs estavam debatendo quem seria a celebridade que teve filho fora do casamento. Na época vi no twitter alguém dizer que elas não apenas achavam que era o Noel, como já estariam planejando espalhar esse rumor para prejudicar a imagem dele (mas não posso afirmar isso, foi um rumor no twitter)... mas no mesmo momento em que elas estavam falando sobre, Liam ligou para a Nicole e disse que era ele a tal celebridade, isso horas antes das primeiras publicações confirmando ser ele a celebridade misteriosa com filho fora do casamento, no dia 17 de julho de 2013!

Só que no mesmo dia, Liam foi visto com Debbie na Espanha, e quando as fotos saíram, a Quest Management demitiu a Debbie por ter se envolvido com Liam. Em setembro, Liam e Debbie passaram a morar juntos, o que mostra que eles realmente estavam juntos há meses!

Depois disso você deve saber, o Beady Eye terminou em 2014, ele passou pelo processo de divórcio no mesmo ano (mas o acordo financeiro foi finalizado só em 2015), e o processo por pensão alimentícia da Liza durou até 2015... Passou a frequentar novos lugares e conhecer várias pessoas, e alguns músicos também. Debbie teria então virado oficialmente sua empresária e ido atrás de músicos e co-compositores, e quando Liam estava pronto ela foi atrás de uma gravadora. Eles passaram 2016 todo trabalhando nisso. Em 2017 sai o primeiro álbum solo do Liam, e foi um sucesso!

Debbie também é responsável pela parte de relações públicas do Liam (então certas falas e atitudes do Liam de 2017 pra cá, tanto em entrevistas, shows e no twitter, podem ter tido influência dela).

Em maio de 2018 Liam conhece Molly, e esse encontro também foi por intermédio da Debbie.

Em agosto de 2018, saiu a história que Liam apertou o pescoço de Debbie em um clube londrino. Debbie também está sendo creditada como uma das responsáveis por negociar a volta do Oasis! Mas claro, qualquer coisa que ela tenha feito a respeito, foi para o bem e para as vantagens de Liam apenas. Aliás, Noel já deu a entender que alguns dos boatos sobre a volta do Oasis ao longo dos anos possam ter partido de Debbie.

Enfim, Liam e Debbie estão juntos a 11 anos, ela é sua empresária e noiva. E ela realmente esteve junto nos altos e baixos momentos de Liam!

ser resgatado pela sua irmã desconhecida é um evento traumático que torna-se presente em inúmeros detalhes de sua vida. como por exemplo, o constante quesionamento do porquê ela foi cuidada por sua mãe enquanto conrad foi deixado em pleno inverno numa calçada, e porquê conrad não poderia estar junto da única familiar que ele já avistou. descobrir que era filho de hefesto e que deuses olimpianos existiam aos oito anos parecia mais um episódio de série de televisão do que um dia normal - para fechar com chave de ouro, sua irmã havia jurado lealdade e companhia à uma deusa que nunca ficava por perto (para variar). conrad chorou de alívio e tristeza na mesma noite, nas sombras das árvores do acampamento meio-sangue.

sua primeira profecia chegou aos quatorze anos. a demigod shall return to where he belonged; to rescue an heir of the god of the sun; with the bravery to face the monsters of the past; they shall fail if mistrust beheads their quest. a perspectiva de falha não aterrorizava conrad, e sim a seleção de companheiros de missão. não é como ele tivesse relações ruins com os outros semideuses, mas podia contar nas mãos quantos eram seus amigos de fato. e, de uma forma meio triste, nem neles confiava tanto assim. o resultado da missão provou a ele que deveria continuar sendo cético quanto aos companheiros, se não até mais; o resgate de um filho de apolo que havia sido preso numa ilha vulcânica chegou à um fim trágico quando seu companheiro de missão não respeitou sua estratégia e fez com que as bombas instantâneas de conrad explodissem antecipadamente, ceifando a vida do semideus. desde então, porter carrega a culpa de não tê-lo salvado, além de nunca mais aceitar ir numa missão com alguém - ele mantinha-se sozinho.

aos dezoito anos, alistou-se ao exército. era forçado a trabalhar em equipe, mas ao menos no mundo mortal as pessoas eram mais fáceis de serem evitadas fora do trabalho. calhou de seu poder ser altamente útil em sua função mortal, por mais que não compreendessem muito bem como poderia criar aquelas bombas. conrad tornou-se mais metódico do que já era e frequentava cada vez menos ao acampamento durante suas folgas. já aos vinte e cinco, conrad deixou o militarismo para ser engenheiro, com sua expertise em armas de guerra. estava trabalhando quando recebeu o chamado de dionísio, o que fazia retornar ao acampamento pela primeira vez após cinco anos.

𝐩𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬: bombas instantâneas - conrad pode mentalizar bombas e dispará-las quando desejar, ou definir seus gatilhos mentalmente. quando mais novo, conrad criava pequeninas bombas que mais faziam barulho do que de fato explodiam, como estalinhos. no nível ii de poder, a habilidade foi aprimorada para controlar melhor o momento de pequena explosão e a mentalizar mais precisamente o local da bomba.

FFXIVWrite 2024 Finished Masterpost

The irony of using a DT themed banner when I didn't even write anything for Dawntrail this month XD Bar one prompt.

But yeah, I ended up with two main story threads I was writing with only a small handful of standalone pieces; the Endwalker role quest rewrites to feature a relevant Scion in each story, and a farming sim AU based off Fields of Mistria cos that game had a grip on me at the start of the month aha...

And even with the month finished I still have ideas I want to do for that AU, and I want to flesh out the rewrite works to post on Ao3 - mainly add more to the other, non-Magic questlines, get more interactions and hit more of the actual plot threads for each quest story. But that'll be after a break from writing.
