I'm one of the most competent Agents in this Corporation, and this Manager's pretty lax about mischief as long as you still Get Shit Done, so a little bit of smashing in the head of a new hire with my bare hands and then wearing him because someone else had my gear for the day is forgivable as long as you can make up for the potential threat you pose with productivity.

Can't get over how much The Suppression of The Red Mist on Day 48 made me truly adore Gebura as a character. Actually. I adored her beforehand because of the initial suppression. Which I beat in a much cheesier but at the same time, metaphorically meaningful way. It's fitting, considering her relationship with Abnormalities, which I would love to make art of but just. Can't. Lol.

Anyways something about someone who's lost who they are, only for it to surge back up to the surface in the most violent way imaginable. The Red Mist has returned.

She intimately understands what the abnormalities mean, what the EGO means to her, the senseless violence of Nothing There or Mountain of Smiling Bodies refined, The Mad Performance and Senseless Judgement of The Silent Orchestra and Judgement Bird refined as well, all of which is said effortlessly, with a "Let me show you how to actually wield E.G.O."

Really what gets me is that the meltdowns truly do feel like meltdowns. The Sephirah haven't been honest with themselves. and all that manifests in a massive emotional breakdown, but none feel as violent, or as resonant to me, as Gebura's, "I’m back; the Red Mist has walked out from a sea of pain." Truly is a quote that just hits so fucking hard.

Also holy shit the dialogue with Mimicry that I've never noticed before. "Let’s do this, partner". Holy shit. The way I perceive "Partner" here is that the two are so personally intertwined. Nothing There might as well be a fragment of her consciousness, or an island that reverberates through her consciousness, rather than a separate entity. She was the first to ever wield Mimicry, the EGO of Nothing There, so she has defined it, and understood it more than anything.

I've just been thinking about it because of how emotionally perfect "Insignia Decay" is for all of this. If any track were to sound like a meltdown, it's this one. Just blind violence, attacking everything within arms length, vapidly running and attacking everyone in sight, all of it climaxing in her collapsing down on her knees, face plates open, while muttering words of exhaustion to herself...

"I’m just not as capable as I used to be..."

"I'll break it down..."

"I’ll kill all of you..."

"I can't stop"

"It just isn’t enough"

All culminating in. Clarity. Calm after everything. Realizing that she hasn't lived for herself, she hasn't lived up to herself, and realizing the core message that is to define her, in how she conducts herself and how she moves forward:

...I will admit, I'm not the biggest fan of paperwork. Ironic, considering that I'm a member of the Filling Out Lots of Paperwork Department, but at least I'm alright at it—

[Mimicry flings itself from atop Deva's lap, collides with the ceiling (which takes out a light in the process), smacks into Deva (which was seemingly done in order to angle itself a bit more), and then lands by its flat right atop Chesed's desk, disturbing the paperwork, staining it with blood, and putting a scratch in Chesed's chassis.]

[Deva looks down at the pen she's still holding, which had been cut in half. She sighs, rubbing some of the ink off of Mimicry's edge with her thumb.]

...Yeah. Printer.

I just learned that you can use The Printers for their originally intended purpose as long as you are respectful. 498 cicadas defiled my first two print-outs of Skibidi Yesod by having cicada sex all over them, and we are no longer allowed to use company printers for even a little bit of tomfoolery. To circumvent such limitations, I simply requested the aid of an instance of P-18-09, as they do not qualify as company printers due to being Abnormalities.

Not only did the Abnormality perfectly copy an image I sent to it via my phone (as you can still connect devices to it like the company printers), it did so in a remarkably short timespan and only requested (rather ashamedly) some blood sacrifice in exchange in order to replenish what it expended.

The exchange produced high amounts of Positive Enkephalin, which may imply that the printers enjoy being able to serve their originally intended purpose even as Abnormalities.

...I will need to compose a formal and significantly sanitized version of this report for the Information Department's archives.

(Chesed pulls up to his desk, picking up a pen and a few sheets of paper. He starts filling in the files, pausing every now and again to recount the information Deva had told him. A bit later, he presents the papers on a neat blue clipboard.)

[The Mountain of Smiling Bodies lets out a cackling roar. Something slams into the hydraulic door from the outside, blowing a hole into it and effectively rendering the thing useless. The desk nearby— a Clerk's station— is unfortunate enough to be what catches the thing that flies into the room. It is crushed into a mess of splinters and ruined paperwork as one of Yesod's Agents is flung right into it.]

...Hi.

[A spray of corrosive bile soaks Deva, even from this distance. Completely ignoring the projectile as it soaks her, she gives Yesod an idle wave. Despite her casual bearing, her expression is as stoic and serious as ever.]

Today's pretty— [she spits out a bit of bile that makes its way into her mouth, drooling awkwardly as she scrapes her tongue of it even as her flesh rapidly reddens from chemical burns]— today's pretty eventful. There are a lot of events happening today. To be fair, this has to be one of the places where events happen of all time.

[Some of the acid gets right into Deva's eyes, damaging if not outright destroying her sight until it can be restored by some method of healing. She does not stop to enjoy the benefits of this room's Regenerator, instead tilting her head in order to rely solely on the E.G.O. Gift that has peppered her cheek and her throat with far more durable eyes.]

[Deva leans on the great blade of Mimicry for a moment to stand. She raises the weapon— whose eyes stare at Yesod with a penetrating intensity— as she charges back into battle.]

[...The hole in the door is somehow a borderline-cartoonish outline of Deva and her weapon. She hops through it by jumping and then assuming the exact pose she'd been in when she made the hole in the first place in midair.]

[There's no time to properly ask if she's alright; she's already up and at 'em again.]

[Their eyes meet. His are dull, near lifeless. They blink slowly and casually.]

Okay cool. Luckily, NT's on the lower end of ALEPHs, so you should be able to whale on it pretty quick. When it goes on the offensive, just attack it as fast as you can. If you see it go into a form that looks like an egg, DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER to make sure that egg doesn't hatch.

M'kay, NT deals Red, which is conveniently resisted by its own E.G.O Suit, so here's this...

[A suit that seems to be made of muscles, teeth, and eyes. You know, instantly upon looking at it, that it is called Mimicry.]

And all the forms take the most damage from Pale, so.... ah fuck it. Here.

[A winged white staff, depicting a snake eating an apple. You know its name to be Paradise Lost.]

Now, put those on and bash the thing. Wish I could give you a red shield bullet but eh. Also, when you're done, take off the suit and let go of the staff AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I don't need your dads coming after me for corroding you.

Without much thought, brain numbed by all the happenings, she slides out of the hold of the monster and puts on the suit. It feels strange over her pajamas, a texture she doesn't particularly like, but there are better things to care about.

The staff is held tightly in her hands, and she mechanically raises it over her head...

...and then she looks at the sleeping face of the thing and she just sees Heathcliff. She sees the scars and the freckles and the hair she loves to run her hands through and she feels so ill, so violently sick with the idea that she's going to hurt him. She'll distort his face and have his death on her hands and then he'll never be seen again and she might be to blame, if the corpse is in her bedroom. They'll think she killed the most important person in the world to her besides her family. They'll think she's even more insane than she already is and she'll lose everything. Suddenly, she can feel how itchy the suit is.

It stirs.

My Lobotomy Corp OCs!

Actually, only one of them, because the art for the others isn't done yet. It will be, soon, hopefully. But I am stubborn and want to have art done for them before I post them. Sorry this is just how my brain works

It makes sense to start from the top, so let's lead with the Control Team Captain! Their name is Haru:

They are an incredibly uptight and jittery soul with a surprisingly high tolerance to injury. They bumble about, often looking quite incompetent, but when push comes to shove, they're an extremely hard worker.

They're so anxious that they constantly sweat, with shifty eyes that always imply a knowledge they're unwilling to share. They are fully aware of how conspicuous they look, and they choose to offset any suspicion by acting like the perfect worker bee. Always offering help, always showing respect, always apologizing, always saying yes. To some, this makes them look even more unusual, but there are still plenty of employees that assume their nervous tics are standard fare. They are working with eldritch horrors, after all. Anyone would be skittish in their shoes.

But Haru is not scared of Abnormalities. Actually, their Justice stat is pretty decent. What they're afraid of is something deeper, something that would put their entire livelihood at risk if it was ever found out...

The fact that they are an Abnormality themself.

They're an extension of an ALEPH tool Abnormality known as the Playmate Machine. The machine produces dolls, identical replicas of employees that can do anything they can, provided they're given constant orders. Haru is one of those dolls: a replica of a Control Team employee named Haruhi Shinozaki, who died shortly before they were "created". These circumstances allowed Haru to slither into the employee's place undetected. However, unlike their fellow mannequins, Haru is unusually self-aware and determined to stay on the down low, no matter what it costs. Most of all, they want to stay "human". That's why they overdo the "teacher's pet kiss-up" persona. That's what they see as the perfect human, a worker, a suit they can slip into.

Their unusual endurance, granted by their inhuman body, gives them a good success rate against Abnormalities that deal RED damage. They've worked with The Naked Nest, Queen Bee, Big and Will Be Bad Wolf...and Nothing There, of course.

Their primary E.G.O. is Spore, but they've used Mimicry, too - strictly in emergencies.

My main nuggs (and those who I haven't remembered for a long time... and just a rundown of my LC playthrough)

When I first played LC, I got two employees who I grew in love for. Asera and Kobenri.

Underneath Asera's Today's Expression mask, they just have a tired expression including a stubble (thank the Wellcheers crew). Asera is calm, collected, works dilligently and fights alright. I envision them hating work since they just rule at it.

Kobenri, a custom employee, is kind of similar to the Kobeni she was based off. Scared shitless, but can fight a really good fight. Later she became a Twilight wielder, contrasting with BongBong's Paradise Lost.

Asera was also an employee who died thanks to Portrait of another World linking them with someone who was working with Justice Bird. It also marked my first big reset, as I had some unfortunate abnormalities close together.

Also going through my screenshots, it comes to my attention that Kobenri once got selected for Baby Duty.

So, first reset. Installed some mods to make custom employees free. Here's Mari.

Mari... I forgot everything about her.

Anyways, later on, Kobenri reached Quintuple V

Ain't that nice? Way later she did decide to smoke thanks to Freischutz giving her an E.G.O. gift.

But then, way later, when Kobenri was wielding [CENSORED] and wearing Mimicry... a legend was born

BongBong, an agent of chaos, a creature beyond our comprehension, maybe even a humanoid abno in disguise. I really like her, unfortunately, she doesn't get the spotlight yet

However, one employee who I mocked when I was building the facility is the one named Xavier.

Xavier looks... in my honest opinion, a bit ugly. It's thanks to Wellcheers, but even despite that, he slays magical girls, pulling the Queen of Hatred out of hysteria multiple times.

Meanwhile BongBong was wielding the Magical Bullet, causing some days to take some trial and error.

About Asera, they got covered by [CENSORED]

Same went with Kobenri, but with eyes.

So after taking care of Asiyah's problems, I restarted again.

This is where the nuggetsplosion happens

Yes, BongBong got misspelled, but the rest is here, including some not-so important custom nugs. A lot of them were from DMC, Evangalion, Yakuza, Genshin Impact, but all misspelled in a little way.

We also have my girlfriend, who looks more like Zato-1. I love her to bits, but she's not really an "OC", I would say. She's just along for the ride.

Waay later, after Tiphereth got ice cream, Chesed got coffee and Gebura did the facility in, I created Chiyo-Chan

From Azumanga Daioh, I created her as a disposable employee, although she sticked by my side for a long part of the game. She even went through Hokma's little tantrum, which was easily contained by repressing the urge to press space.

Still, Asera got killed again.

After this, I did another reset, got BongBong's name correct and decided to finish this game, going for all the other abno's left. So while abusing time and trying to lure three birds and a plague doctor

So. as my main blorbo's (if I use this term correctly), we have Asera, Kobenri, BongBong and Xavier. It's time for my final one.

Born with a bit of an unfortunate name and sent to the team with a weird sephiroth, here's my final blorbo: Poussey. While Asera knows their shit, Poussey does not and does not care. She can punch, kick, and turn you into a book before you can say that I'm referencing the wrong Project Moon game.

After getting a lost paradise, I restarted for the final time.

Remember when I said I had some DMC characters? Dio was the replacement for one of the characters, and has a keen refusal to die ever since. KiKi is supposed to be the perfect rival of BongBong, but it did not work out. But other than Courtney, the rest just had to be made on my own.

As for BongBong being an agent of chaos, I mean it.

BongBong and Kobenri are also a thing.

Their relation even made them sprout wings (Note, whitenight was not available at the time, thus the console was used. I regret nothing.)

So, after LC, where are they now?

They are loyal parts of the Library, Xavier still has to be pulled from somewhere, but we might be able to find him in no time when the writer actually plays Ruina further again for Pete's sake.
