Okay but e.l.f. dupes all the high end makeup brands too like is that not how it technically launched and got famous??

Yes! Believe it or not, e.l.f. was originally priced at $1 when it first launched. Now, however, most of their makeup products are between $2-18 (excluding kits, sets, and "jumbo" sized products). Their skincare products range from $4-22. Duping designer brands is not how they became famous, though. The price-point is the reason! Anyways, all the non-designer makeup brands "dupe" each other and designer makeup brands, so it's nothing new in the beauty industry. However, as far as MCoBeauty is concerned, they are definitely crossing a line...

My coworkers and I were talking about this on Sunday (it was empty and I was bored, so of course I had to tell them), and one said she came across two rumors as to why Rh*de got bought:

Justin is in debt.

Justin is launching another clothing brand (Why and What the ever living fuck?), and Hailey will obviously be the face for it, so she wants to focus on that instead of Rh*de.

I wouldn't be surprised if both reasons are the answer. Anyways, the CEO of e.l.f. Cosmetics is crazy and, without a doubt, just hurt his brand.
