Two of the best fishy girlies in paradise! I absolutely had to make a cross over piece of these two and had so much fun with it! Can you tell I miss the beach? I definitely need to draw Meeshell in her mermaid form at some point, maybe it’ll be another cross over piece with revamped Great Scarier Reef Lagoona🤔

Meeshell Mermaid was such a mystery when she arrived to Ever After High. Quiet and shy at first, Meeshell started to open up when she shared her amazing singing voice. She may still be more confident in the water but one day she will come out of her shell!

Sorry I’ve been absent, finals happened, school ended, I moved out, and moved in and now I’m more or less settled so hopefully I’ll be back on my bullshit again! I wish Meeshell mermaid was a guy, because the little mermaid was Han Christian Anderson self insert

This because Hans christian andersen was Bi, he confessed his feeling to his male crush and was cruelly rejected.

Hans wrote the little mermaid as a response.

It funny that some people criticized Disney little mermaid because Ariel " gave up her cushy life as a mermaid princess for a guy" and most people would rather be pretty carefree mermaid than a stressed human ( that why mermaiding is gaining popularity)

in the original book, mermaids don't have souls they have longer life span and less stressful lives, but when they die, they stop existing.

The only way for a mermaid to get a soul is to marry a human, which is impossible because humans think their tails are ugly. In Europe, mermaids used seen as evil or bad luck while other cultures saw them as neutral.

The little mermaid turned herself into a human to be with the prince and get herself a soul, as she was terrified of death, but the prince was going marry someone which would cause her to die the next mourning

She had a chance to get her life back by hurting the prince but she loved the prince more than she feared death, even though the prince was kind of a jerk.
