i cant even be that horny about it because its just so sweet.

it changes a lot depending on When it actually happens.

before GHOST dissolves i can imagine optimus and megs trying to hide their relationship from the humans, keep it professional... keep everything safe. every time they go on a mission together they spend a significant amount of time hugging. kissing. holding hands. interfacing like their lives depend on it.... then going back to base and sleeping in different rooms, messaging each other over comms until they can recharge. (though, theyre military men and also robots, i dont think theyd have THAT much trouble sleeping with an aching feeling of loneliness in their sparks.) Not even all autobots know about it, GHOST shouldn't have even a whiff of it.

One of these passionate trysts leaves them with a newspark in megatron's chamber. Evidence of their relationship and the fact that transformers can reproduce will be running around eventually. Keeping newsparks secret when their parents live off base is one thing... keeping an entire carriage and newspark that will need to feed from its carrier for months is an entirely different league.

hiding pregnancies is another thing i fucking love.

Hiding and excusing symptoms of carriage. He pukes in front of several guards, then has to explain that and clean it up before a human touches half-processed energon. Optimus covers more of his shifts and its just this...

tension.

It's inevitabel that his frame will change. He's a bog bot, hes got time, but Optimus is too, so he's going to look like he's carrying eventually.

Primus. He can't avoid the Decepticons in the brig. They'd notice something was up.

Imagining rumors spreading that humans have made him sick. That he's dying.

But starscream sees him walk by and flies into a blind, screeching rage. Shouting at him about how he abandoned all his decepticons just to live out a stupid domestic dream. does he realize how out of reach it is for his troops? does he know how cruel he is for parading it around for all to see. He shouts expletives and threats until agents come to sedate him. An event that broke his pretty good streak of not making eye contact with Megatron when he comes through. He only keeps it vague because he knows GHOST knowing about the newspark would be terrible... for the newspark. fuck megatron when they cut him open to grab it.

It weighs on Megatron. He never felt like he deserved such a blessing in the first place. but... he can't fail it now that it's his.

I don't really have a resolution for all the hiding. I like the tension. i love the excuses and suspicion and rumors... but megatorn either has to run off and hide on some made up mission for a few months until the little one is weaned from carrier energon and can go into Matlo-care (Dot being the only human who was told about the sparkling)..

or GHOST can be destroyed.

Listen. Dying and then being reanimated after a high intensity battle you didn't want to be doing isnt usually good for newsparks, but then again nobody really does that so. Quick check on the little guy.

It becomes public knowledge after that. Well, not released TO the public but they stop hiding it at the base. Stop hiding kisses and touches and OH MY GOD MEGS WAS PREGNANT THIS WHOLE TIME??????

This is where we get more indulgent. Absolutely swooning over Optimus taking care of Megs. Holding him through decension. Gently touching the small bump. Feeding him supplements.. actually being there for check ups!!!!!!!!!!!!

They hadn't even been able to fuck as often as they wanted, even. Since the shifting plates and added made their makeshift meeting places hard on his back. now they get to have sweet sweet missionary sex in one of their own beds, ending the night by falling asleep with Op's hand over megatron's belly.

Okay, let's do this!

(I also made a little headcannon about Elita-1, and it's been a while since I started watching the series so I don't know if it would seem like she would do that. I'm not doing the Terrans because I don't have the mental will to do them. And I'm only going to be doing ones that I can actually think of.)

Autobots:

Elita-1, Optimus and Megatron

I feel like if these three were put in charge of taking care of a rouge sparkling found in the woods, they would all co-parent. Elita is the mom, Optimus is the dad, and Megatron is the papa.

Optimus would obviously teach the little one what's right and wrong and would give them a light scolding if they did something bad. I mean, it's a sparkling, they have no awareness of what they're doing.

Elita-1 would teach the little one to fight in self-defense, and somehow actually works? Like, if one of Mandroid's bots tried to take the sparkling, the little one would body slam, the elbow, and all types of wrestling moves. Meanwhile, Optimus and Elita are in the corner, watching this go down. He turns to her and asks, "Did you have them watch W.W.E.?" Meanwhile, Elita just has a proud, smug smile, hands on her hip plates, proud of the little one.

And Megatron would teach the little one about morals and ideals. Considering that he was a warlord that hurt and killed many innocent lives, who is now a better person; he has experience going down a dark road and doesn't want them to come across it and go down that same path that will on bring pain and misery to not just everyone around them, but also themselves once they've acknowledged what they've done.

Bumblebee

Sorry, excuse me, older brother coming through-

He's a good older brother figure and is not afraid to admit it! He does gets annoyed when the Terrans, Mo, and Robby tease him for it.

He's very excited about what their alt-mode's gonna be. Maybe an ice cream truck!

When he sees the sparkling somehow fighting, he's kinda surprised before he recognizes those moves and his face turns into a -_- and asks, "Elita let them watch the W.W.E. again?"

Arcee

Cool aunt, all the way.

Will spoil the sparkling and teach the little one some moves other than the ones in the W.W.E. that Elita-1 let them watch. They need to learn real moves, such as martial arts!

She finds it cute how the little one wouldn't cry when they fall to the ground, but instead stubbornly get back up with some cute honks with a determined face, causing her to cover her smile and hold back laughing at how cute this is.

Will visit the Malto's frequently just for the little one.

Grimlock

I see him as the wise uncle.

He always gives out words of advice and they work, for example, Jawbreaker.

He'll be gentle with the little one but would be aggressive to those who intend to harm or use the sparkling for evil and/or greedy purposes. He does not want them to go through what he went through in the Bot Brawl in Philidelphia.

Doesn't really care about the sparkling biting him, he just sees it as the little one letting out their inner Dinobot, and it's not like it'll hurt him; he can barely feel it.

Wheeljack

The fresh-out-of-jail uncle because of his experiments.

I can see him more like his G1 version around the sparkling. So, if he's doing an experiment and the little one is around, make sure someone will nab the sparkling before it explodes in Wheeljack's face.

Had the things on the side of his head glow every time he speaks because the sparkling enjoys it.

Unknowingly a bad influence with the amount of times they watched him perform experiments only for them to blow up.

Decepticons

Soundwave

New sparkling acquired. Kids, you now have a younger-

Feels like this is a blessing from Primus because of what happened to Rumble. Because of that, he's overprotective of the sparkling, and so are the other Minicons: Frenzy, Laserbeak, Ravage.

He now has something to fill in the part of his spark that died with Rumble's death.

When the sparkling accidentally hurts themselves, Soundwave will feel a sense of guilt as he's trying to heal them up. He's supposed to protect them, but they ended up getting hurt and he feels like he should've done better. But if someone tries to hurt the sparkling, all hell breaks loose. Soundwave and his minicons will hunt down the person who hurt the little one and tear them a new one.

Shockwave

Isn't really emotionally attached at all.

He does take care of them, but will raise them to be strong because, to him, the weak should serve the strong, and he will not raise a weakling. He is also glad that the sparkling isn't a disgusting hybrid like the Terrans.

He would even perform experiments on the sparkling, such as chemical enhancements to make them stronger than the traitorous Megatron.

Would pull a Mother Gothel and manipulate the little one as they grow up that what he's doing is for the greater good and that they are the key to that future.

Tarantulas

Unlike Shockwave, he does get emotionally attached and cares for them like a parent should.

He doesn't want them to live in fear because of GHOST thinking that the sparkling is affiliated with him because he's considered a Decepticon, which is why he decided to make the hologram avatars so they can hide and be safe.

Gave, even made, some toys for the little one that will enhance parts of the processor so they can be an intelligent individual just like their Sire.

At the end of the Missed Connections episode, he gave them to Nightshade so then they would be out of GHOST's hands. Believing that he was captured by GHOST, I think that he would stay there for the sake of the one he considers his own. When in custody, he would never mention anything about his sparkling for their safety.

The Start of Something New

A/N: Peopel we’re eager for dratchet earthspark au and I am here to deliver. I am very much in love with my little au that consumes my mind often. For a bit of context. Ratchet went into hiding after the war ended. Drift who was on the run from GHOST runs into Ratchet. For the next ten years up until present timeline they stayed together. They started courting five years into hiding and got conjunxed two years later. So they have been married for three years by the time the Terrans show up.

The habsuite Optimus had given them wasn’t much but it was leagues better than places they had been squatting in for years now. The berth even had a comfortable cushion covering it and it was doing wonders for Ratchet’s old joints. The medic sighed as he sprawled out on the berth staring at the ceiling. It felt strange to be here again surrounded by his friends he hadn’t seen in over a decade. For so long it was just him and then it was Drift and him.

The sound of the habsuite door swishing open alerted Ratchet as he looked over and saw Drift as he entered. Red optics flashed in the dimness as he lazily stalked towards the berth before clasping half way onto Ratchet and ex-vented harshly.

Ratchet ran a servo over Drift’s final and he hummed in appreciation before turning his helm to look at him. “Those kids are menaces.” Ratchet laughed at the sentiment.

“I could’ve told you that.” He smiled before running his thumb over Drift’s pouting lip plates. “Come on you big lug get into the berth already I want to watch our show.”

Drift snorted as he climbed over Ratchet and cuddled up behind the medic as he wrapped his leg over Ratchet’s waist and arm rested on his windshield. Drift tucked his helm into Ratchet’s shoulder as he grabbed his datapad he had sat on the berth and turned on the human medical drama they had been binging recently.

“I still can’t believe it, Ratch, sparklings! Of all places here on earth it is a blessing from Primus.” Ratchet hummed while he didn’t believe it was a blessing from a made up creator. He did believe it was a true blessing in life and their species' future.

“That little one Twitch was excited to show me her swords.” Drift laughed as he leaned in closer his cheek guard brushing Ratchet’s helm as he did.

“I think you may have an admirer with that one though her twin kept eyeing you up as well so perhaps two admirers.” Drift’s ems field shifted slightly making Ratchet look up at him curiously.

Drift quickly masked his emotions with a smile before leaning down and kissing him softly. “It’s nothing.”

Ratchet gave him a knowing look but let it go for now as he turned back to the datapad.

“Meredith should talk to Lexie, she only wants to get to know her.”

Drift hummed in agreement as they watched once again the resident doctor reject her younger sister's friendly advances.

“Good thing we have a lot more of the series to go then.”

“That we do.” Ratchet said as they continued to watch it late into the night.

I have been waiting for a chance to write these bots, thank you dear anon! It's totally not because I've fallen hard for both of them...

Bumblebee

Bless his spark, this bot will never stop trying to play it cool around you, but it never really works. You have the power to fluster him with even the tiniest gesture. It's especially bad when he first gets hit with feelings, as even the tiniest bit of acknowledgement from you turns him into a blushing mess. A single wave while he's driving is nearly enough to send him off the road.

He's always going to try and show off for you, though same as above, he goes heavy on this at the start of the relationship. If you carry anything, he will offer to get it for you, and if you need anything heavy moved by Primus he is going to be there and make a big show of how not heavy it is. This of course extends to lifting you around on his shoulder whenever you ask (he will also offer often), and the resulting smile of pride is adorable enough that you rarely decline.

You are the only human he's eager to give rides to. If you're up for it, he actually loves to show off while you're in the passenger seat, going full throttle on open roads to have a bit of fun. That's not to say he isn't also open to giving you a lift for your errands if needed, so long as he can enjoy the scenic route with you. Commenting on his alt mode being cool will have him more or less skipping with joy the entire day.

Behind closed doors he's very affectionate, but he's quite shy about it despite loving the attention, and you'll have to warm him up to certain things. Gentle kisses on his helm have him melting into you, but just sitting and talking gets him the softest. He likes to have conversations at eye to optic level, and that means when you're alone together he'll usually prefer to be on the ground or holding you up in his arms. Resting on his chassis is another option, and undoubtedly it's his favorite.

Being in hiding means you have to be careful together, but he still wants to go on dates, even if they're small. Spending his days teaching makes him quite appreciative of quiet moments, so a nice drive at night to somewhere secluded is his favorite way to treat you. He'll even let you choose what's on the radio!

Arcee

She is not ever going to be subtle about any of this. Ever. She is going to start openly flirting the moment she takes an interest in you, and she will make it plainly obvious to anyone in earshot that she finds you very attractive. As soon as you show any appreciation for the compliments she'll ask you out, and that level of boldness will not diminish throughout your entire relationship.

She loves nothing more than showing you off, and she will do so to anyone nearby. If she can she'll put you on her shoulder to make sure everyone can see she's with the hottest human on earth. It's only a matter of time before news outlets catch pictures of the two of you together, and when asked she readily introduces you as her significant other. Humanity will be more than a little obsessed with your relationship, but there's not a thing GHOST can do to stop either of you. Thankfully the paparazzi isn't interested in stalking a bot capable of turning a news van into a pile of scrap with a single kick.

Not only does she love showing you off, she thoroughly enjoys showing off for you, and she's not at all opposed to public affection if you're interested. Carrying you in her arms is absolutely on the table, and she loves to gush about how cute and tiny you are. You'll do a lot less walking once the two of you get together.

Of course she loves taking you on long drives, but her idea of a fun time on the road will necessitate the use of a seatbelt, as she's a big fan of offroading. Her alt mode not being built for it doesn't stop her at all, though she will get you a helmet for when things get a little rough, which is often. Drag races are also on the table if you're down for some riskier fun.

There are a lot of human activities she can't participate in, but she tries to have as much fun with your dates as possible. Drive though movies are a great choice, especially if you pack up a load of blankets and pillows to get comfy. She won't mind in the slightest if you fall asleep by the end, and she'll find it beyond adorable as you snooze during the ride home, perhaps taking the long way so she can delay waking you for as long as possible...
