Just found out Peter Renaday died a few days ago…

He voiced Easy Pete, Doc Mitchell, No-Bark, and dozens of other elderly New Vegas npcs.

so i was starting up a new save of new vegas (as one does) and had just gotten to the part where you bring the townsfolk together. so i was heading outside and pulling up my map when i noticed one of the quest markers in black mountain

“huh,” i think to myself. “that’s new”

so i wait

and i wait some more

and the quest counter is near enough to goodsprings that i can walk over to it

(which i do)

and lo and behold

it was easy pete

#for context easy pete is an NPC from the starting area whose main thing is “generic old guy in southwestern town” and dynamite #black mountain is a decently leveled area filled with radiation and semi-invisible blue ogres #so you can imagine my thought process when easy pete comes back completely unharmed #i have no idea what the hell he was doing or how he was doing it #my best guess is a beer run for raul #easy pete #black mountain radio station #fallout new vegas #fallout
