this is the start of the end credits rolling in the movie you begged to watch just to sit there and figure out it was so shitty your life seems maximized by a corporate screen in a cinema chain. Today i declare i am somebody, not another body. As much as i appreciate my mother, i cant help but feel her agressivness burn more than her imprisonment checks she keeps on me. With arguments piling up always on the days i deem worthy she cant stand to see me happy.

Putting the shouting aside for a single second to focus on this day would make it a tad bit better. Got my grades back from my first trimester i am stupid. Went to go get an Echocardiogram for my heart pains and my mom denying the fact i need antispychotics and deeming them too much for my heart, as if my own body wasnt carrying enough weights to bring down my own boat. Then immediately hopped onto getting my hair straightened i cant wait to be pretty. Right after to my friends house.

I realized there are people outside. Im not in some sort of fallout shelter i am not isolated im not who i used to be i guess im just stuck in that thought. People care wether i live or not, people care for you, my heart beats too loud to be calmed down in this world, and if one thing is for sure the only person who dosent seem to find this life worthy is my mom. thanks mom. i really needed for you to humiliate me. you saw my heart beat in that echogram how could you.

Cosmo's Little Heart

Last month, Cosmo went in for his heart echogram recheck. It has been 18 months since his last one which showed still, stable but mildly thicken heart wall. Cosmo was diagnosed with HCM or Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy at a young age. We have been monitoring him with heart checks every 18 months.

I don't know if you guys believe in miracles but this is truly a case of miracles! We were told this time, his heart is now NORMAL. The mildly thicken heart wall has somehow..DISAPPEARED. Even the doctor can not explain it! I guess it's a good thing Cosmo is very active, running and playing probably has a huge impact on his little heart getting better. I am truly overjoyed. It is the best news I have heard in the longest time. We love Cosmo & his normal little heart!

Maliwan family values

some stray thoughts on what we know of the organisation of the Katagawa family that I always found interesting

1) Despite the fact Jr wiped out his siblings, he gets no pushback from his parents. Instead, he’s either promoted/at least maintains control of an influential department. This seems obvious, given the fact he’s out there waging a war, but think about it for a second—he kills his siblings to get closer to the CEO position, but he does not kill his father, the actual CEO. He stops one murder short of becoming top dog. Why not go the whole way?

2) Well, I wouldn’t say it’s because he’s scared of his father. Just before Junior has Tyreen turn his siblings into decorative pieces, he tells them it’s because they were riding on the coattails of their parents, who gave them “everything.” It appears the Katagawas raised some lazy Rich Kids of Echogram, and Junior despised his siblings for that, while genuinely respecting his parents.

3) This would suggest he thinks he’s done them a favour by unaliving his idle siblings. He specifically criticises them for “coasting on [the] interest” of their inheritance rather than “acquiring new business ventures” to benefit Maliwan. It’s safe to assume the Katagawa parents completely agreed with Junior’s assessment (or even planted that seed in his head), because...

4) ...you can find Naoko, the sole surviving Katagawa, hiding out on Promethea, but nobody (except Junior) is looking for her. The Katagawa parents aren’t desperately searching. They don’t care. As far as they’ve concerned, they’ve found the horse they’re going to back.

This is within the wider context of the fact Junior has a literal barcode tattoo on his neck, numbering him as 13 in the birth order, as presumably all his siblings do. This is Disney-stepmother cartoonish levels of child abuse, but think what a number (no pun intended) that must do on a child’s psyche.

He, along with his siblings, was raised knowing they are fully disposable corporate assets, not people. It seems to me that Junior is not actually a ‘psychopathic’ anomaly that Naoko claims. Rather, it looks more likely the Katagawas were encouraged to turn on each other, and Junior was the only one (or perhaps merely the first) to get there first.

Rhysothy headcanons ❤️💙 1/x

I know that hands are the staple Rhysothy thing but...hands.... Tim and Rhys holding hands, brushing hands against each other, first unsure touches to late intense kisses. Tim's huge hands full of scars and Rhys calloused hands due to manual work, no matter how much lotion he uses, just. hands

the way Rhys refers to Tim changes a lot through the time. first of course he's "Mr Lawrence" or "Timothy". sometimes, he slips and calls him "Tim" but it's rare. when they get closer, he refers to him only as "Tim". and when they start dating of course there is more of "Timmy" or thousand endearments like baby, honey, sweetheart, darling, love etc etc

Tim on the other hand, is only getting used to hearing his own name again. first ones are neutral, he expects these but whenever he hears Rhys call him by "Tim" he finds unexplainable happiness. both within hearing his name and knowing Rhys opts for using a nickname instead of the full name. and it's always wonderful to hear his name spoken by Rhys. on Tim's end, his endearments are similar with especially calling Rhys buttercup

after Tim gets to Promethea, he starts volunteering in local cat shelters. he gets several cats from there and seeing just how much he looks vest this place, Rhys decides to help as well. when he have time, they both volunteer nursing cats with all the love

they're not keen on having children but by god, they could adopt 50 cats together

it became a habit that when Rhys is working late, Tim is always there. Tim talks about novels, new ECHOnet shows or what he found on patrol that day. Rhys gladly listens, happy to have company and he loves every single word Tim says

by extent it carries to the time when they start living together. Tim often times comes by Rhys' office with their cats or snacks to cheer him up. sometimes, he simply takes Rhys to his arms. Rhys feels the most secure then

they both love coffee and flavored coffee too. they know every single Promethean coffee shop and Rhys always orders the most ludicrous coffees ever, with every tipping imaginable. he always proclaims he'll eat it all but usually it ends with Tim helping him out

Rhys LOVES Tim's voice. but this one deserves its' own post

in their house together, Rhys built Tim special gym space. he doesn't come by often to work out himself but he always knows when to come when Tim is working out. no, no ulterior motive

after a while, Tim starts making his own ECHOnet videos. firstly, those are short snippets on ECHOgram but then he starts making longer vlogs, books reviews and all on ECHOtube. Rhys firstly appears in the background, later on joining to talk with Tim over the points he makes, supporting him and generally having fun (or roasting things together). they're simply the best pair to make commentary on things, complementing each other (this is totally not based on SimplyNailogical's vids)

bc of Tim, Rhys started to read more (fiction) again. Tim is more of a fantasy guy and Rhys is a sci-fi guy but they find common ground and recommend each other new titles and discuss what they've read in the last week. they both also love romances so that's that

to extent, since Tim loves writing, Rhys is both his first to read, his first beta and obvs the biggest fan. sometimes, Rhys just asks for Tim to read it to him, knowing Tim will get all the voices and intonations right. not to mention his beautiful voice

Tim's hair is pretty thick and voluminous. Rhys both really loves to run his fingers through it but sometimes helps with untangling it. needless to say - mornings with Tim's bed hair can get pretty intense but Rhys loves it anyway

when they got married Rhys always happily introduces himself as Rhys Lawrence. sometimes he especially adds "yes, the husband of THE Timothy Lawrence, top Crimson Lance soldier, award winning writer and the sweetest man out there"

Katagawa is a thirsty boi.

And Rhys will punch him for it.

Rhy’s s/o get’s around 50 Echo-Messages from Katagawa a day.

The messages range from invites to fancy dinners, parties on Katagawa’s pleasure yacht, and positions at Maliwan.

Rhys’ s/o has to block around 30 different Echo-Numbers.

But Katagawa just keeps making new numbers with throw-away Echo’s.

So, Rhys has to make a special Atlas Echo for his s/o that blocks any Maliwan numbers. 

Katagawa just spams anyway. He’s not one to give up easy on things that he wants. Much like the Atlas-Maliwan merger.

Even if he has cute cat cafes on his stupid yacht, Rhy’s s/o will not respond. Even if the cats are so adorable…

No… don’t give into the cat cafes…

Katagawa comments under ever EchoGram post of Rhy’s s/o. And then he makes fun of Rhys’ posts in the comments. 

Too bad EchoGram is partnered with Maliwan, because they both can’t block him.

Maliwan has their grubby hands in everything so it seems.

Rhys starts dressing his s/o in Atlas merch, which pisses Katagawa off to no end.

Atlas sweaters, Atlas sweatpants, Atlas socks… Atlas everything.

Atlas Underwear.

Katagawa then makes a whole fashion line of Maliwan merch. He sends one of every style in Rhy’s s/o size.

Rhys then burns all the clothes Katagawa sent them.

Then throws out the ashes.

Zer0 offers to kill Katagawa for Rhys, which he happily accepts.

Cue Zer0 chasing Katagawa around with his sword while Rhys EchoLives it. 

It gets a ton of hits online. The twins even feature it in one of their EchoStreams. 

Maliwan might be in with the Calypsos, but it doesn’t stop them from laughing at Katagawa getting beat up by Zer0.

Rhys even gets a few hits in there, all while his s/o watches and laughs.

It makes for a great date~!
