I will always fundamentally disagree with you if you create an environment where everyone is on a mission to find out and banish suspicious "interlopers" and "thieves", no matter how righteous you feel you are
#political f//mism ace exclusi/onarism trans m///edicalism etc I could go on#you're stupid for doing it that's going to be less of a community and more of a crab bucket

when I was a little 9th grader my school was testing out combined classes where you had English + US Government + a basic computer class all at the same time and it was just as dumb as it sounds. we had assignments that were basically "write an essay about the american dream and the US government and put it on an ugly website." it's also worth mentioning that my state is 49 of 50 in public education and my high school had a horrible ranking even in this state bc, among other issues, we had a <70% average attendance rate. anyway i remember we had a little multiple choice test that we took in the beginning and end of the year to see how much we learned and I to this day find it funny that once the end of the year came and we got our scores, my teacher said "most of the class had scores that improved which is great! except for you. your score actually stayed the same but it was 100% so I guess you didn't learn anything." and it's like. well that is correct. I in fact did not learn anything in the patriotism ugly website class.
#steph's rambles#this is just me flexing but i also got 36s on both the reading and english sections of the act and that was no thanks to my high school lmao#btw our horrible public edication was exacerbated by us being directly next to a state with Very Good public education#which made going to college in a city that borders both states an experience for sure#bc there were kids that went to fancy public STEM schools and i was like#yeah haha one time someone lit a girls hair on fire during lunch

hi yeah yes this blog is dead buts the only one that still has reader insert content on it and I just gotta say like
What the fuck is up the with exclusivity of reader insert shit these days? If it's about a marginally attractive man all of a sudden its f!reader afab!reader (which should NOT BE INDICATIVE OF PRONOUNS????????? YOURE NAMING THEIR SEX, AND LABELING THE PHYSICAL SEX IF IT HAS EXPLICIT CONTENT LIKE THAT IMPLIES ITS GOING TO BE GENDER NEUTRAL AND THEN ITS NOT AND ITS IMMEDIATELY TRIGGERING FOR A LOT OF TRANS PPL LIKE MYSELF??)
Like it was very very common that reader insert content baseline be gender neutral unless requested otherwise that way everyone who finds the character attractive can enjoy it?? SOOOOO fucking fed up with this smh
Fandom space is supposed to be inclusive and ngl like. when you cater specifically and only to one set of pronouns with this kind of stuff its soo deterring to so many queer people
#sorry this has just been pissing me off so fucking much lately because every character i like reading about#over the past year or so is like. mear exclusively written with a fem perspective and that shit is infuriating#because if youre loterally just writing a oneshot that has no reason to be catered to a specific use of pronouns Why are you usinv them#like youre writing a hc about how they hug why is it Gendered#fucking christ sorry if this seems like.#yknow what no im not sorry actually#idk man i made a huge effort to make people feel included n thats just dropped off the face of the earth with some fandoms for fucking real#not calling out tf here havent been in that space in a minute#i AM calling out anyone that writes for jjk dc comics any part pedro pascal has played in media ever uhhhhhhh etc etc#im not saying the authors have ill intent or problematic#im just saying it perpetuates an exclusionary soace and makes people feel left out#and ngl.... as much is i love everyone joining sites and blah blah blah post pandemic and w the popularity of tiktok#yall need to fucking Learn fandom edicate that shit is so fucking infuriating#not all of u ofc but some of yall are so disrespectful#anyways hi!! bye <3#vent

I think the best prank I ever pulled was on my religious ed teacher who had us make an art piece portraying a cross, be it a drawing or a collage, (this was when we were all 18/19 btw) and many people just made collages out of the magazines and newspapers he brought, but I drew. I drew the Earth, and above the planet was a giant white winged cross, and I called it Genesis
When he asked why I said it was because everything that is created is done so by God's will or something like that and he and the whole class were very impressed

when in fact it's one of Nathalie's Limit Breaks in Epic Battle Fantasy
It does massive light damage and casts Revive on the entire party
Mind you that's nothing on my sibling whose class managed to convince their rel ed teacher that Monty Python's Life of Brian was a documentary but I am still proud
