so I know u dont like feyre but what about bryce and aelin? just curious!

It's not necessarily that I dislike Feyre, it's that I find her to be a frustrating and disappointing character. I really do not like the direction her character took in the latter half of the series. (It's the Feyre "stans" who are really Rhysand stans pretending to care about her that annoy tf outta me.)

I'm pretty 'meh' on Bryce. She's fine. I'm not a huge CC fan, to be honest. Idk. Between the frat boys and "alphaholes" and every single character being madly in love with Bryce, I'm pretty lukewarm on her and the series as a whole. Again, it's fine. Just not really my cup of tea.

Now Aelin? Aelin is my fire breathing bitch queen and I love her so fucking much, flaws and all. In general, I find the TOG characters to be a lot more compelling than the ACOTAR or CC characters. TOG isn't a perfect series by any stretch of the imagination. And Aelin isn't a perfect FMC, and she can and does drive me up a wall at times, but I just love her. I think she is INFINITELY more compelling and interesting than any other FMC that SJM has written.

Like there is no faster way to make me start tearing up than the phrase, "Once upon a time, in a land long since burned to ash, there lived a young princess who loved her kingdom."

One of my in-laws picked up a dab pen for me to try. I trust him to know where to start with me sense I’m extremely sensitive to mj. He said “just teeny tiny hits ok?” And “honestly this will last you forever” and said if I don’t like it to just give it back to him because he’ll use it.

Now, when I say I’m sensitive. I mean

So sense I was a teen (fuckin so god damned long ago now like I saw pot get legalized while I was in high school in Colorado) I’ve stayed away from pot because I’ve always had horrible luck. Once it’ll be great! I’ll feel great! Then the next time I feel like I’m going to die and get violently ill.

So. I’m a little desperate for help sleeping and pain relief (if you’ve been on this blog at all you’ll know my sleep issues) and I trust this close family friend a lot and he knows way more about it all than I do. So we’ll see.

Also complaint: a dab pen shouldn’t be so damn hard to draw on I vape nicotine vapes all the time and idk if it’s because it was the first hit or what but I seriously thought it was broken.
