No one knows how little interest I've held in this for months because no one's really cared and honestly I like telling stories to others so knowing that no one really cared enough to leave comments or ask questions or anything kinda killed my motivation but this might do it, this might actually do it.

Okay so basic rundown from what I remember, I've gotta refresh my own memory before I can start writing for it again.

So 141 is a monster-only task force. Or at least, it was for the longest time until Soap joined. He's the only human on the team, and it's been a hindrance for him because most military forces nowadays are monsters.

He's fought tooth and nail to be welcomed into this monster-dominated field, and yeah, it's been difficult. But he joins 141 and fucking soars.

Well, one day, they go on a mission to take down a vampire only ever known as Meister. (Master in German)

While the others are focused on capturing the vampire, Soap finds a basement with a ritual circle holding a wounded demon with a skull mask.

He frees the demon, and treats him like any other living being, which for a demon, is a quick way to get into their good graces.

The demon decides that this is his human, and god be damned, he's going to keep him safe.

Unfortunately, Soap seems to have the MacTavish version of Parker luck.

I am okay in the sense that I am sheltered, getting adequate sleep, and safe. I may not be mentally well or have enough money to eat 3 meals a day, but I'm still incredibly grateful right now.

I've been battling a lot of co-existing feelings--frustration at being burnt out both at work and creatively YET AGAIN, grief and sadness with the ongoing genocide and feeling helpless to assist with two empty checking accounts, guilt at not finishing my commissions OR touching my hobbies OR posting. And yet posting like things are normal when they're so Not Normal is just. [angry gesturing]

Vinay Krishnan posted a poem on his Instagram 2 days ago called "there's laundry to do and a genocide to stop" and I highly recommend looking it up because it's how I feel trying to simultaneously fight off compassion fatigue and also survive under poverty and capitalism.

I can't believe that in the same semester I got to work in two different group projects for two different subjects, and in one we got to work together flawlessly, always comunicating and dividing tasks and stuff equally between each other, and the other where we divided each other in two sub-groups and the other subgroup does shit without ever comunicating with us and then complain because "they did so much work, so they shouldn't do the oral presentation in class".

Like, come on, do you think I'm stupid? Me and Uni Bestie are the oens who did the bibliographic research to find the articles to work on, I asked to meet up in an online call to discuss together and NOBODY answered me, then you appear a week later with everything done (badly) and demand not to do anything else, while me and Uni Bestie also had to edit yous shit because it was so painfully opbiously a copypaste of shit with repetitive sentences badly written.

Don't you think I didn't notice it was just so you could avoid the presentation, because you did all of this behind our backs without consulting anyone about anything. What if i didn't agree in your article choices? What if I wanted to partecipate in writing? I didn't even know you were doing it because you purpusefully avoided telling us to save your ass and say "oh no, but we did work so hard, the 7 of us did all this writing, it wouldn't be fair to make us present it!" and it's even written shitty.

real longtime mads fans will not be shocked to hear that i think she’d be very susceptible to the lonely, given her fraught relationship with connecting to others and the way all of her deepest fears can be traced back to an upbringing that was very… like that. that said i can see her patron being the slaughter; her attempts to escape those base childhood fears are what drove her to become god’s perfect killing machine, which by all accounts could have gone a lot worse for everyone involved than it did in ffxiv

Oooh how about, Soap has the fever and just starts babbling. First his worries about his sisters mundane domestic struggles with her kids and how he cannot do anything to help (usually he just brags about his niblings), then about his mom who's worried about him not having a gf nor a bf. And then, to Ghost's face, bemoaning the fact that he cannot date anyone while he's so completely gone for Ghost it's not even funny anymore. Ghost just freezes. Perfect marble statue. No thoughts left.

Hewwo <3 thanks dru. It's slow going some days but it feels good to be more active. It means I have the little extra energy to spend here.

Peanut: I honestly don't know how to answer this!! I love all my scrunkly lil blorbos. Maybe Asiya? I made Leila's abusive mother about as bad as I could make her without being comically evil bc I really wanted to dissect how controlling parents make defiant and sneaky kids.

Walnut: hm, very hard. Probably the lady who wrote the Magic Treehouse books? I can't recall her name off the top of my head.

Syrup: how do I pick a favorite?! I guess I like my characters that are snarky with a good heart. Especially the neurodivergent ones that don't pick up on certain cues or realize they're being too mean. I like that there's a sort of clumsy but earnest way they try to navigate their relationships and how they can still be loved even if they occasionally step on toes.

I've been studying in uni since midday, with like just half a hour to get something to eat, which I hate while still studying. It's 6.20pm now, and even considering how I frequently need micro-breaks to keep myself functioning (literally 5 minutes from time to time to check texts or scroll a bit of tumblr, stuff like that), it's still a damn lot. I am exhausted.

I may be a degenerate student, but no one can say I am not trying here 😭
