Thank you, I loved your PSA. I am a minor in psychology so I certainly know about confirmation bias. Also what do you, yourself, think about Elysia?

I'm disappointed by the change in direction her character suffered from between ER ch2 and 3, because it feels like very bad writing to me. I loved her a lot as a mysterious and morally gray character, but I'm not interested in her as a shallow "perfect" girl who has never done a single wrong in her life ever.

Off the top of my head (sorry it's mostly Mobius facts) she has committed identity theft, broke into her friend's computer to look at her files, how is that not wrong? She claims she only lied once in her life but... I mean... she's lied a lot, objectively? She lied about Kalpas being restrained by Aponia to get MOTH to agree to free him, and she lied to Mobius to steal her badge, for example. That already makes two!

It just feels like the game went insane and started lying to my face!

Her entire point in the first chapter of ER was that they had lived lives full of human joys and mistakes, which is an antithesis to the perfection they also try to slap on Elysia. She was a character who seemed to hide a lot pain, but then they made her smile into her entire personality, as if they'd forgotten it was a mask. Just... who's that??

I'm also disappointed because a lot of the setup from early ER just didn't have much payoff with the change. Why the mystery around her operation and Mobius forgetting things about it? Why did she disguise herself to steal Mobius's ID card prior to getting into MOTH? Why did she decide to go kill the Second Herrscher, and how did she know she could pull it off if she didn't know she was a Herrscher? Why did she ask Kalpas to be her pawn and why did she promise him a war to get him to agree? Goes on and on and on.

None of it makes a lick of sense with the "truth" they went with. They just got waved off or swept under the rug. I was theorizing about those so I'm a bit mad.

But... it's been what two? Three years? Man, I'm over it, I just want to enjoy what I have in the game now. Not like it's going to be changed even if I hated it.

I wish elysia was a villain so badly, i hate her with how she turned out. Also I guess technically Mei was a terrorist for a while, however they unfortunately did not expand much on that. Honestly I am beginning to see that despite how much I love and owe to KiaMei, VitaSeele is basically KiaMei if the writers actually took risks and the criticisms you have towards kiamei are reflections of your praises of vitaseele. I also noticed that your 'kiamei hate' comes across less as 'i hate kiamei' and more 'i really wish i liked kiamei but the writers refuse to take risks.'

Villain!Elysia would’ve been so good. I’ve made my peace with how Ely turned out but boy was I pissed about it at the time hahaha. Vita feels a little similar so that healed me a bit.

You are absolutely correct on my overall view of Kiamei! I tagged it as “kiamei hate” because it seemed like the generic tag kiamei enjoyers would filter out for things they don’t want to see, but I don’t actually hate them, I just wish I could enjoy it like the game wants me to. I end up missing out :T but no can do if I don’t vibe with it.

I also like Fuki a lot because they had a lot of bonding time together and strong moments, like Hua saving Kiana from suicide hello? Let them talk again Mihoyo. So it's not like they were incapable of developing a relationship as writers or anything like that.

Elysia haters need to filter out her name and move on, they can’t force other people to hate a character, bashing on her all the time just makes THEM annoying :/ especially since like… a lot of Elysia enjoyers, like you, recognize her writing sucked towards the end?? I wouldn't dismiss Elysia hate as just hate wanking.

But if they [haters] should shut up about hating Elysia, can the Elysia lovers tone it down a bit as well? I do like her ER version but as I said, I think she's too prevelant everywhere.

Its fine to hate her, its alright to voice that.

Its fine to like her, and its cool to make that known.

But both of those have kinda gone too far where haters hate her for the sake of hating her, meanwhile some that like her praise her as peak character writing.

Both are annoying when taken too far.

HSR Amphoreus Wanted List

We suddenly got 8 new character (+4 still hidden), some line up near Flamechasers, while one giving Barbara vibe (lol) and funny enough almost no one interest me. Some male character could change my mind depends on their VA.

Except this Kevin (Ayato) expy !

I saw leak he's Kevin expy but why he's morelike Ayato expy to me (lol) but knowing Acheron case, maybe we could get something from Welt about him. He's Kevin expy or not depends on his VA of course~

Talking about VA, we suddenly got Elysia expy ! She even got same VA Marina Inoue

It's kinda scary knowing Kevin Elysia expy in same story...

Just got reminded to post this silly tiktok I made with Joe. Elysia cosplaying as sakura miku and hatsune Joe are the best duo to ever exist..

Experience 10/10 but it wasn't very disability friendly cuz there's a lot of standing and my joints was having a flare up ;-; so j was in pain most of the time, the stairs in the area wasn't safe either, I had to leave early cuz j now for a fact I can't get down the stairs when others are going down.

Also, j got lost in London for 2 hours alone cuz I went by myself, which was a bad idea, cuz you know... I look fem, in cosplay, visibly disabled cuz j had to use my walking stick due to the flare up, and only been in London twice before this.. so it wasn't exactly safe. This was my bad, I should've done more planning on my end... and the silly thing is two of my friends that j know are there they're just with different ppl sbsvsbvsh cuz they got vip bsbsbsj

I want to thank the random rin cosplayer and their friend for letting me borrow their phone cuz mine died and I was mid meltdown amd is practically incoherent;-;

they probably won't see this like ever and probably forgotten about me but if it weren't for them j wouldn't be able to get in contact with my friend that could help me out and calmed me down slightly sbsnbsjsh and the fact that they helped me out genuinely means a lot to me ehxhheuehw God that was embarrassing shshdhe
