“Well, well, well,” the demon started, looking at the woman who decided to enter the bar and walk all the way up to the counter. It was a fateful day for him, finding one of his kind strutting around the streets of the city like they owned the place.

And sure, he was aware that Elysia wasn’t exactly a demon like him, but there was something about meeting someone that came from hell that made you friendlier towards them without really meaning to.

“Who would’ve thought the princess of the Underworld would walk right into my bar. Welcome, gorgeous. What can I get you?”

The Traverse Trio!

@elysiahellfire plotted a Kingdom Hearts AU with me!!!!

Sylvan was working in the tavern, having just directed a young lady to a table and getting her order to the ktichen for the chefs to prep while he did some minor cleaning of wiping up tables and the like. It was pretty busy, and the place was now full.

That was when a young, dark-haired woman walked in, looking around. “Excuse me? Is there any room for a table for one?”

Sylvan went over to her, shaking his head. “I just gave the last table to the young lady over there.” He managed, pointing to where Elysia sat. “You can ask to share a table with someone if there’s a spare seat at their table, or you can wait fifteen minutes...”

“I can ask!” The young woman’s eyes beamed with pure optimism. Sylvan admired that—they really needed more of that here in Traverse Town. “Thank you, though!”

The young woman in question, Tahirah Zakiyaa, went over to Elysia, standing by her table. “Excuse me? Do you mind if we share a table? I’m Tahirah. Tahirah Zakiyaa—nice to meet you!”

Have you ever cried while writing a reply?

/Yes, I have, a while ago this thread really hurt me and I was kinda delving in a place of pain deep in my thoughts and I just ended up crying and had to stop writing it. I don’t like it. I don’t want to do it anymore.

“I do insist.”  As if to extra emphasize her point, Rapunzel nodded her head and added a small hum of an ‘Mmhm’.  “Trust me, you’ll be much safer that way.”

Maybe if things were different, if certain events in his life hadn’t occurred, he would have shown her GENUINE compassion - he would have ACTUALLY missed her as much as she missed him. Well, he did miss her, but not for the same reasons. He couldn’t feel that way anymore - in fact, he forbade it. 

Behind the mask, Benjamin was scoffing at the sight of her tears - had she not changed at all? Was she still so fragile? True, that only made things easier for him, but then again it could end up just so boring, especially if he had to play this so careful so not to break her - prematurely, that is. When the brunette hid her face in his neck, it gave Benjamin the opportunity to briefly shed the mask and let his eyes roll. He was tempted to snap at her and criticize such behavior, but instead he cupped the back of her head and gently ran his other hand up and down her back in a soothing manner. 

“Shh, love,” he whispered, fingers continuing to comb through her long hair, “It’s alright. I’m here now - we’re together again.” 

He crooked his head a bit and pressed his lips in her hair, inhaling her scent once more at the same time. He could hear her heart beating, pumping the blood rushing through her veins. It was intoxicating, making his head spin and his hunger stir. If it were a different time with a different person, he would have sank his fangs deep into flesh by now, but he restrained himself and tapped into what little self control he had (shockingly).

Her request brought a smirk to his lips, though he changed it to a soft smile when he gently moved her away from him so that he could look at her again. He cupped her cheek in his palm, thumb stroking her soft skin. “Tell me how, Kitten,” he whispered coyly. His thumb brushed over her bottom lip, his forehead dropping to meet hers, nudging her gently. “Tell me what you really want.”

     “I feel like it’s cheating if I go straight for ‘hot head’.” He beams pleasantly. “So, let me dive straight inta the Greek tragedy that is yer life, hmm? That’s a fun can of worms!”

      “Like, I thought my life was fucked, y’know? But at least my dad was blunt about not wantin’ me. Yers just.. Did that whole mess. Do you think that would explain yer obvious daddy issues? Or just add to the parental issues ya have in general.”

      “Hellfire would make a kicking stripper name, when you ineffably go that route.” The faerie grinned, pleased as a peach.

As her arms were locking around him, Ethan’s reached to hold her close, his hand cupping the back of her head gently while the other resting upon the small of her back. He laid his cheek against her temple, his eyes closing as he inhaled her scent deep into his lungs, her fragrance a substitute for the breath he lacked. “I've got you, love,” his words were soft, smooth as velvet, a kiss placed in her hair.

The kiss was impulsive, the moment so thick with tension it could have been cut with a knife as the saying goes. Her mouth was so warm, lips so soft against his; her fingers combing through his thick dark locks felt so good and it sent chills down his spine as he held her so close against him. He swallowed the moan she let escape, his own rumbling deep in his chest. This kiss between them was different; for one thing, they were not out in public, the two of them confined to the temporary housing they shared for the mission - and that lead the kiss to feel real and genuinely passionate. Neither of them were faking it to put on a show for the unsuspecting dogs in service to the common enemy. He was kissing her in the same manner he used to kiss his (ex) wife...Up until just then, that thought hadn’t occurred to him.

The realization smacked him in the face, like it was his wake up call.

Hands now resting on her shoulders, Shane gently pushed her away from him, keeping her at arms length, his head hanging out of shame. 

“I’m sorry...” he panted, eyes half squeezed shut. “...This...This is a mistake...”

Apartment Attraction

MUSE A owns the apartment buildingMUSE B lives in. MUSE B is crazy attracted to MUSE A, but isn’t the smoothest when it comes to flirting, so they make-up excuses to see them. leaking pipe, squeaky door, etc. MUSE A starts to catch on to what MUSE B is doing and finds it kinda cute.

Tahirah knew this was probably crazy, but...she knew she was attracted to Elysia. Totally, completely, attracted to Elysia.

Problem? 

1. Tahirah was living in the apartment building that ELYSIA owned.

2. Tahirah was horribly tongue tied when it came to crushes.

Commence Operation: Find Every Excuse Possible To See Elysia Other Than Just Paying Rent.

It seemed to be working so far. After all, she managed to find excuses such as a broken window (though that was an accident), squeaky doors, leaking pipes. Even the tiniest of things like the wi-fi going a bit wonky didn’t go unchecked.

And now, Tahirah took a deep breath, doing her best not to blush as she knocked on the door to where Elysia was and waited for her to open it. And when the door did open...

“Hi, Elysia...? I’m sorry to bother you, but the pipes under the sink in my bathroom are leaking again..”
