I hope June is treating you well! 🌸 It's been an exciting time here in my world, we're underway filming Season 19 of Heartland, Marshall's Country Store is bustling with summer tourists, and the farm is as busy as ever. Cyan joined me on set recently, so you can look forward to seeing some behind the scenes, including a Q&A, on Instagram! Last weekend, I had the pleasure of hosting a Meet + Greet at the store with Kerry James, along with Emmanuella and Ruby Spencer. It was such a special day, with visitors coming from as far away as Australia! I'm always moved by the personal stories people share and hearing what Heartland means to them. I'm also thrilled to share that we'll be donating half of the ticket sales from the event to our local Foothills Search & Rescue - an organization that's incredibly important in our community, especially with so much outdoor recreation in our area. The timing felt especially fitting, as we're currently filming a search and rescue-themed episode on Heartland!

"Why is everyone so anti Amy moving on? Is she just supposed to be a single widow for the rest of her life??? Ty would have wanted Amy to move on, not be continuously stuck on him until she passed. Besides that, Ty will always be a part of Amy. Especially through Lyndy (I'm also really sick of the "Amy's a horrible mother" comments when that's the furthest thing from the truth). I just find some comments to be a bit odd on this subject."

"I truly never understood why (before Jack offered Amy and Ty the land that they started building the house on) Amy and Ty thought they could comfortably live in the loft with Lyndy? When she was a baby and a toddler, sure. But what were they going to do as time went on? There's no room for her up there and no privacy. Was she just going to take her mom's old room in the house? This is why I think Amy should move out of the ranch now that Ty is gone. It doesn't make sense for her to live with everyone anymore."
