a twitter submission page never posted this analysis rant thing of mine so maybe you guys will gaf. i love romeo so much hes like the goro akechi of mcsm (red themed narcissistic antagonist who lowkey just wants real friends) i know a kids minecraft game isn’t something people put much psychological thought into but i cant help it hes such a textbook definition of NPD and they pull it off so well. and i’m not talking abt how he’s a self centered villain, that’s ableist and generalizing, i’m talking about how he so clearly hates himself more than he “hates” the protagonists and more than anything, how the admin powers are the only thing that gives him self worth and he would rather die than feel inferior because in his mental hierarchy they put him at the top, and there is a big big gaping gap between that and any civilian. they aren’t worthless, deep down he knows that, it’s that HE would feel worthless in that state, and he would rather be killed than ever let himself be that vulnerable.

this line isnt about jesse at all. it’s about how HE feels about HIMSELF. if he was a normal human, he wouldn’t deserve friends or praise, so how can jesse have all that and not him? (also very parallel to akechi’s “how can someone like you have things i dont”) . It’s well known the extreme he went to with xara and fred in a desperate attempt to take control over his situation. why would you go to such lengths to your best friends, and so desperately? betrayal. there was a conflict between them, and he was so terrified of them betraying him that he had to act first. obviously what he did was downright horrible and inexcusable but this is about his emotions not his actions. ever since, he has sought a “friend” who will submit to his every command because he believes if they don’t, they would betray him too. and i especially love how despite all this, there was good in him at the hidden depths of his core. fred believed he was redeemable because he knew he’d lost himself, he knew he only wanted to be able to trust them. he kept their cabin untouched, he planted a tree in his memory, but these things are kept so far far away and hidden from everyone in the world, because he would never let himself admit to something as vulnerable as guilt. he would never let anyone see it. but that’s still who he is underneath everything. an emotional, complex and terrified man given too much power. to end this i want to also say i love how petra realised she feels the same way as him, how she’s also been controlling their friend group out of fear, and how she’s commonly labeled by the fandom with another disorder from the same cluster (BPD) which while she doesn’t meet the full extent of the criteria she definitely displays symptoms of, namely her fear of abandonment (leaving people first because she expects them to leave) and identity disturbance (everyone has something that completes them and she doesn’t know who she is), both of which she admits to in the admin’s cabin. her and romeo deal with their fear in incomparably different ways but they both stem from the same feelings and that was a nice touch

ever think about how xara's theme not only reflects her getting back her life after several years, but also everyone's animosity of romeo blending together. it represents how everyone is working towards the one goal of stopping him. making sacrifices, such hard decisions, with one common goal.

literally her theme and its first appearance xara joins you once she learns jesse has been wronged by romeo too. then in the second one to feature her theme is when you learn to the full extent how much romeo screwed xara over. you get the full picture of how messed up he is even before you learn about the fact he killed fred (i may be misremembering lmk if im wrong). even when xara loses hope in the world, jesse and everyone else pushes on which motivates her. she lost the will to keep going after so many years, but the spark of motivation of those around her keeps that flame going for longer, and her theme follows that.

the theme plays again (and the last time if u gave xara her bed) at the rebuilt portal. everyone at this point has BEEN working together, even more people to the cause. the fight against romeo is growing bigger, so the next appearance of her theme is stronger than ever, not stronger in appearance but also having more that accompanies it. unlike prisoner x and the oasis, theres a lot more going on in dangerous eyes as if theres a lot more people fighting, fighting on. the theme pops in a bit further into the theme after the beginning but in the middle it melts into something else. synergy? hope? an uplifting and keep on fighting sort of theme. (2:56-3:45 on the yt posting if u want specifics). all of this sort of dies out in the moment where radar makes a sacrifice and u have to choose whether to let him or not, like how it is in the FIRST theme choosing between lluna and nurm. a reminder that contributions to the effort involved sacrifices too, those who felt strong enough to the cause to ENDANGER themselves to move it on. ok ik lluna didnt but nurm literally tells jesse he'll take the fall.

and don't think i forgot about if you didn't give xara her bed. while not having her theme play at all and instead a different song kinda fits as it lacks the theme at all like how attacked without anyone else but on her own, i think the scrapped "Xara in Beacontown" works better. in it, the theme is stronger than ever before but it is also alone. the theme is on its own. not in sync or synergy with other things, just on its own. a fight for herself, a last stand for herself. but to have an abrupt end that matches the first part of the song. while she did prevent champion city from falling apart, without others she couldnt stop him.

it took everyone working together to stop him. everyone contributing. i mean literally in the fight against romeo, w/o jack or petra, romeo would've likely won. even in the last fight, jesse needed others to beat him, not just himself.

the summary? xara's theme not only emphasizes taking back what was lost, fighting for herself...but also every fighting together. everyone working together. everyone united to take back everything that they lost to him, to romeo.

okay so i know i’m supposed to talk about romeo and xara and i WILL but i do think it’s important to voice this thought i have about romeo post canon and it’s the fact he is actively suicidal lol. well maybe not actively … perhaps passively is a more apt term. he has no real will to live and any desire he does have is thrown at jesse as a person, and xara to an extent, although he initially hides from her. he lives on and doesn’t purposefully end his life because jesse saved him, willed him into being, believed in him even though nobody else truly does … but it’s sort of an aimless act, redemption, for romeo. there is no ‘end’ point, there is no ‘stopping’, or properly ‘atoning’ … he is going to slave away at every problem that’s ever existed forever until he dies by happenstance. jesse said dying instead of fixing his problems was the ‘coward’s way out’ and romeo does believe that — but there’s still an innate craving for death and a belief that he will, somehow, stumble upon forgiveness and redemption via his own demise. the game tries really hard to handwave romeo’s overt suicidality by having him give a whole speech to jesse in the end about fixing his mistakes, yet all he can talk about is dying. he even has two endings where he can choose to die! i find it ironic that the game paints this as a heroic act when jesse literally tells romeo it isn’t … i do believe it’s tragic and brave of romeo to die so that the others may live, but there is also this sense of. oh. romeo got what he wanted. which was to die.

the way he talks about it too in both variations … it is so obvious that romeo inherently believes in his death being the solution. it is less of a ‘heroic’ act to romeo and more of what must be done :

there is the theme of ‘paying’ for what he did / his mistakes … i will say that while this is largely romeo just loathing himself so utterly and wanting to die overall, i also think he has a very strong belief in death being noble, or strong, or … erm, particularly heroic in some instances. not always ( hint hint his losers vs winners mentality ) but i think there were instances where he saw it more positively, like in his gladiator rings for a while or in fred’s own ‘death’ … like, he would not tell people fred was weak for his passing, definitely not, nor would he insult xara in such a way had she died. something something roman mentality about dying in battle, something something the nobility of sacrificing oneself for a far greater, more valuable thing ( jesse ). he does not think this excuses all his wrongdoings but he does think it’s just and ‘what he deserves’ if that makes sense. but really, romeo just wants to die, and has probably wanted to die for a very, very long time.

i’m sure people view romeo’s behavior and constant pleading to ‘leave’ him as romeo just taking the easier out ( especially given jesse’s own words ) but i don’t think that’s it at all. romeo is more than willing to do the hard thing and work tirelessly at righting his wrongs … he just doesn’t believe it’s the right call. that’s why he tells jesse to leave him. romeo believes it the appropriate thing to do … believes that he’s most deserving of that fate compared to any other … he brings it up continuously after being turned human again no matter what jesse says :

but there is a hint of this desire to die even before this, back when romeo is still the admin … it paints this picture that he’d rather face death than the embarrassment of losing to jesse, but i am more inclined to view this as the admin’s way of channeling that empty, hollow urge to just die more than anything else. it’s a rather dramatic thing to say since jesse has shown no intention of actually killing romeo :

though it does add this sense that dying is what romeo wants, doesn’t it? and it is! obviously. but ah … basically what i’m saying is that a.) romeo has always struggled with suicidality, and b.) he still would post canon, despite his rather hopeful claims of forging a path forward and making up for what he’s done by active participation in life. i find it silly to even imagine that such a strong desire to die would just be zapped away like that … suicidal impulses are not that simple, ever, and so romeo would thus struggle with it eternally afterwards. even when he gets better there would always be that urge to die for some greater good … to be executed by someone … i vividly imagine him sort of trying to ‘sacrifice’ himself many times during my imaginary s3 actually, much to aiden’s dismay. it would almost be his first instinct … especially since he’s still getting used to his human body and ‘fighting’ physically again … he may be useless, but he is a body between evil and jesse, or evil and aiden, or evil and ‘good people’ … so he will use said body to be a hurdle, if he must. i also imagine romeo would offer himself up to xara to kill or torment as she pleases when his belief that things are unsalvageable is confirmed … in the scenario where she beats him romeo would not fight back nor lay a hand on her, though i’m sure part of him would have twitched to do so, vaguely. and he’d offer this up again and again … to paint a more vivid image i’d say romeo would be decently reminiscent of freya from god of war :

but if that alone will make you whole … if seeing me dead will make things right … i won’t stop you.

to which xara … can not bring herself to ever go through with it — actually killing romeo … she doesn’t have it in her, really, especially not when he looks like her romeo and not the admin. she is so very angry with him and she wants him dead to a degree but she can’t do it herself and would, more likely than not, instinctively reach out to protect him if something else were to try. she still loves him, you know? and it infuriates her to no end and makes her lash out and harm him and anything else in her reach … but she can’t kill him. even though she would have eons and eons ago when the fred wound was still so fresh. i also just think xara is trying to desperately put romeo and the admin behind her, since jesse gives her the bed and tells her there’s still good things out there, if she just looks for them … her active choice to stay in the underneath rather than run blindly after romeo ( like she had done before in a flurry of rage and hurt ) seems to be development on her end, and an attempt to let it go, even if only for a while.

ah, i digress! point is : romeo wants to die! yippee! as the admin he lived on because he was too prideful to do anything else and as romeo he lives on because jesse wanted him to but there’s always that feeling of … i need to die. i should be dead. sometimes that feeling is unbearable and vivid and other times it’s a numb film just draped over his very being … s3 post canon would improve this but there’d always be flares of it, even if fred came back. especially then, perhaps, on some bad days. i also imagine that on top of that internal struggle romeo was very prone to vicious bouts of self harming after being saved : clawing at his face, his chest, his arms … himself, basically, in an attempt to be rid of the admin … he is very freaked out by the idea that some of the power still lingers in him and will start trying to gouge it out of himself in a fit … he also has. standard things? like … expected things, i suppose. romeo has vivid and horrible intrusive thoughts about killing people or entrapping them … he has nightmares frequently and thus doesn’t sleep often … he cannot stand to look at himself in any capacity or he will snap … the admin haunts him every day … etc. there is more to all of this but until i figure out romeo’s specific mental illnesses ( besides his bpd ) that is all i can say as of yet, alas.

i have more to say regarding romeo always + him and xara and whatnot but i’ll hush for now.

i REALLY need to listen to more of the soundtrack because i haven't listened to All Of It, but ohhh . i looooove Just Kids . every time i listen to it i end up sobbing though. it's just so pretty and it really fits the moment that it's used in. PAMA's theme is also . soooo good. it's so intense and intimidating while having little parts that sound like a computer buffering- i think it's really neat :-] AND UGGGGH Prisoner X... i love how futuristic it sounds. i love that the little tone at the beginning plays again for The Oasis and Xara in Beacontown. i love xara's leitmotif !!!!! umm and like. the wonderland songs are really nice. i love how they sound genuinely magical and all twinkly- romeo really did try to make it a nice and fun place despite the um .. challenges. Last Moments in Wonderland is my particular favorite, because it is really sparkly and magical while having the deeper tones underneath making it obvious that despite the grand look, it is dangerous and it is a challenge !! i'll add the links too lalalala

just thought id share that the song that plays in the admins cabin during episode 4 is called "just kids". just thought. id share that.

I am literally so fucking sad I. This season was written so so fucking well. The whole theme of friends drifting apart is carried on from the first season even, with the old order. The admins, the old order of the stone, and the new order of the stone, all of them share this theme that friends can’t last forever, but I love love love how with Jesse and Petra it’s showing that that isn’t a bad thing. Drifting apart is normal and a part of life and it doesn’t have to be your downfall. It doesn’t have to be the end, you can still be happy. The parallel between the new order and the admins is actually insanely good. The parallels between Petra and Romeo especially to show, the most innocent and genuine sentiment of wanting your friends to stay together can end up turning you into something horrible. Romeos character development being like this first impression “oh he’s a horrible crazy person” but you go deeper and find out he used to be just like you. The admins all did. “Just Kids”. Romeo used to be a kid too and just like Petra felt as if his friends were drifting apart. And in his attempt to keep them together he only destroyed them. That’s so so heartbreaking and sad, and it’s even sadder that Petra sees this and feels as if she’s going to turn into Romeo, into someone who ends up hurting her friends. It’s so sad that we don’t get to see more about the admins and especially get to see more of Romeo and Xara’s reconciliation at the end of you manage to keep them both alive. To imagine despite everything that happened, they can still manage to forgive because they’re all each other has left. And it’s even sadder if you manage to get them both killed, you learn about this poor broken group of friends and they fell apart and ended up killing each other and dying because of it. The fact that Ivor comes in at the end of the game and mentions trying to reconcile with the old order and apologize is so good. Seriously tying the themes from both games all together and showing a really bittersweet but happy ending. Friends can grow apart but it doesn’t mean you have to turn on each other, it doesn’t mean you need to have an unhappy ending. It’s just a new part in your life. And minecraft story mode especially season 2 does such a good job at showing and portraying that. Sorry. These blocks make me feel things

• I’m so confused about how death works in the mcsm universe or more precisely how the characters see it. it’s treated like a super big thing (ex. reuben, ellegard/magnus, fred), but characters who have (accidentally or not) near or actually committed war crimes are not sent to jail or something?? and are redeemed MLP villain style (if u know what I mean). so like it’s sups uncool to kill people, but murderers get off real easy (except for cassie I guess?). and do they die of old age or something eventually? or can they only be killed by an outside force? the second option sounds more logical, since characters like xara aren’t show to age at all, but then there’s still old people and stuff lol then people r revived in the games thingy at the end of season one so like that’s a thing? I’m just—..man...I don’t get it, whack stuff

Romeo and/or Xara ask meme

Spell a character’s name in my askbox and I’ll tell you my headcanons…

R: What are their hands like?

Xara’s quick to point out that Romeo has hands that are soft, that he’s clunky with at first, hands that make it clear he’s never done a day of “real” work in his life. A while after everyone works on getting things back to normal and healing their own worlds and communities, though, he gets better with them, even if they’re decently nicked due to more than a couple of clumsy mishaps while building.

O: What would it take to break them, inside and out?

While he wasn’t fond of losing his powers at the time, he’s very willing to admit soon after that it was easily for the best. Romeo’s much less fond of thinking about how they were removed; the punches didn’t feel great, but Jesse getting in a few good punches that Romeo well deserved isn’t what bothers him either.

He will never feel comfortable about thinking of or remembering his form glitching out the way it did, trapping him briefly in Fred’s form and making him directly face the place where it all began.

M: What is their favourite dessert?

It’s a close tie between ice cream and cupcakes, because he loves how cold and refreshing ice cream is, especially given his prior fire/lava theme, but cupcakes are delicious and also slightly adorable and they are one of his favorite things about being “normal” again.

E: How are they with children?

Avoidant. Not that he’d just abandon a kid if he ended up in charge or watching them, but he’ll do his best to make sure that never happens, and most people are very willing to work with him to make sure it doesn’t because they don’t want him being in charge of kids either.

O: What would it take to break them, inside and out?

Getting his power back would horrify him.

Getting them back just to return to his old habits, to act and become the way he once was, would shatter him, whether he realizes it while in the throes of readjusting to his powers or when they’re taken away again.

Fred’s last words were to her, not Romeo. What Xara isn’t too keen to let Romeo know, at least not until reconstruction is well underway and he’s gained some of her trust back, is that those last words involved asking Xara to go easy on Romeo and not blame him too much.

She was best at learning how to fight, when Fred started teaching them to spar.

R: What are their hands like?

Xara’s hands are fairly big, though she will forever hate her paper-thin nails. They’re well scarred, marked by injuries and accidents alike, but still fairly flexible, and her punches are almost as terrifyingly powerful as her axes.

A: What are/were this character’s best subjects in school?

Her second best subject was learning how to fly, how to soar above everything and how to hover just a little off the ground. She misses it a lot.

Striker Production - Experience

This text will contain my summary experience in Video Editing and Web Development.

In video editing I have more then 5 years experience as a freelancer and as a hobby in some softwares like Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas, Blender, Topaz Video Enhance. I had started to video editing in 2016. In that time I was really bad at it but slowly I made my own skills. Few of my videos was IRL, but most of them was in games like CS:GO, COD, BF, Rust, PUBG where I participated at some contests and I even had several paid projects, in mostly part Rust intros, CS:GO fragmovies and a 3D logo intro. Almost 40 paid videos I had done in this time. An important aspect are my competitions, to be more specific the Rust Video Editing Contests, where from my budget and with help of few sponsors we created a very large series of contests. The organization of the contests was difficult, as it included several stages of operation: registration by form, recording clips and creating a package with them for editing, creating a video ad, defining the necessary rules and information and much more. But my experience in video editing is not ending here, from 2019 I work as a web development and there I have made some advertisements and one was a 3D animation, my first animation in Blender. From here starts my experience in websites and photo editing. I made over 25 websites in platforms like Wordpress and Prestashop. Also in this way I learn many things about these platforms, how edit a theme, how to implement modules, how to change a module, how implement custom code, functions, payment, custom feed and more. In addition to what was said for editing websites I needed to learn photo editing at a high level. I have 2 years experience in working with PHP, TPL, SQL, JS, HTML, CSS, cPanel, Wordpress, Prestahop, Excel, Word, XAMPP, Visual Studio Code, Notepad++, phpMyAdmin, PSD, Photopea/Photoshop, Topaz Gigapixel, Xara Photo at this job.

Further I still work as web development and I still keep the Video Editing as a hobby.
