WIP Wednesday

Posting a little snipping of my fic, Shut Up and Drive, because the smut is about to come in hot. I had to split my next chapter into 2 because it was getting too lengthy. 👀

His phone buzzed yet again. Ian sighed and picked it up, surprised when the preview screen indicated that he had two new messages from Mickey.

He swiped up, unlocking his phone and nearly threw the device across the living room.

The first message was innocent enough.

Mickey (6:12 PM): Thinking about you.

But the second message….the second message was downright obscene.

The second message was a very real dick pic of a very, very hard Mickey Milkovich. The photo lit up Ian’s screen, depicting a rather close up image of Mickey’s length - hard, thick, and leaking. His hand gripped the base. It was bold. Confident. Utterly shameless.

Ian felt his own cock twitching in his pants.

What the fuck could he even say to that? He couldn’t remain silent and allow Mickey to think he didn’t like what he saw. But he couldn’t just whip his cock out and return the favor…could he?

No. That would be too forward.

Not any more forward than Mickey whipping his cock out in the first place, he thought.

Ian drank the picture in. Mickey was shorter than Ian’s 9 inches, but he was thick and absolutely delicious.

Ian knew from experience. He adjusted his hardening cock in his sweatpants. As he considered his options for reply, another text message appeared underneath the photo.

Mickey (6:17 PM): Like what you see, Red?

And fuck. Mickey wasn’t just giving him something to look at while he jerked off. No, he was practically baiting Ian.

wip wednesday

Thanks for the tags @gallawitchxx, @mybrainismelted, and @katicusdramaticus! Here's a little snippet of something as yet to be titled that I just started two days ago…and absolutely nothing has been edited!

“Now get some sleep, okay? You got a field trip tomorrow. You haven’t stopped talkin’ about the aquarium for weeks.”

“Yeah. Gonna touch the stingrays,” Yevgeny says through a yawn.

“And the starfish, right?”

“They’re called sea stars, Dad.”

Mickey rolls his eyes with a smile. “Well excuse the fuck outta me.”

“Another nickel in the swear jar!” Yevgeny shouts, suddenly wide awake.

“Ah, fuck.”

“Another one!”

The kid’s gonna be fuckin’ rich by the end of the month at this rate. Because Mickey’s tried, he really has, but the “fucks” still fly out of his mouth unbidden.

After retrieving two nickels from his wallet and dropping them into the jar on Yevgeny’s dresser, he sits back down on the bed to give his son one more goodnight peck on the forehead. But of course the kid has more questions.

“Why do you have a bad word spelled on your fingers?”

“You can read that?”

“Yeah, Dad, I could read a long time ago,” the boy answers with an eye roll.

And well, shit. There’s so much he still has to learn about his son.

“Uh, just somethin’ stupid from when I was younger,” he replies, staring at the tattoos in question.

“You can’t wash it off?” Yevgeny asks, eyes wide. Mickey thinks the kid’s eyes look a lot like his own, except… innocent. There’s an innocence there that Mickey doesn’t think he ever had, even at the ripe old age of six.

“Nah, I can’t wash ‘em off.”

“Well they’re cool. I like ‘em. Even though they spell a bad word.”

If I had more written, I might’ve chosen something a bit more exciting, but alas…

have you ever met anyone in real life that you met online?: a couple from that Stargate crowd, but not recently 😔

what is your favorite thing about your current fandom(s): the variety of creativity is wonderful and sometimes overwhelming... But I love how active it is and how much there is to enjoy.

have you ever gone on a trip with a friend? if so, how did it go: does my husband count 😆. If so, we've had several wonderful trips; my favourites being Paris, Japan, and Toronto. If he doesn't count then actually I don't think I have and that feels like a massive oversight.

if you could start a podcast with anyone (friend/family or famous person) who would it be?: I don't know... My first thought was that it would be fun to podcast with the two IRL friends I lived with before I moved in with my husband (they are on Tumblr but I don't want to tag them into this madness 🤣). I’ve been working on this cross stitch for just over a week to pay homage to one of my favorite Gallavich scenes in the dugout. I stepped way out of my comfort zone to freehand a lot of this without an exact pattern. And of course I had to photograph it on site at a local dugout in my community.

Name: EnsembleEtiquette (so basically I am a public school teacher so if you want to be pals, message me and I’ll tell you my name. I’m ✨paranoid✨ and my students are internet sleuths lol)

Age: 27

What made you fall in love with Gallavich? I wish I had a better answer to this question, but some ships just feel right. From the moment I saw Gallavich together in season 1, my heart just latched on. I’m also just like a SUCKER for some good banter, and GOD do they banter.

How long have you been a fan? Since 2017! I started watching Shameless back in college and I never looked back! I am very new to the fandom space itself, though. So hi. :)

Favorite Gallavich moment/scene? Mickey coming out and Bridezilla Mickey!

Favorite Shameless character aside from Ian/Mickey? Sheila and Ethel! I was actually lowkey devastated that Ethel was season 1 only. I wanted more of her. And Sheila is a no brainer - the scene where she tells Karen she’s going to take care of her grandson even if Karen won’t recognize her own child? Devastating.

Do you write, draw, or make edits? I want to write, but I don’t have the attention span. I don’t know if I’ll ever get my thoughts onto paper. But I do make Gallavich cross stitch crafts!

Favorite type of Gallavich fics? I think this changes like….regularly for me. But I really love a slow burn (I think we all do, that’s probably not an original experience). I love fics where Ian takes Mickey home to meet the family for the first time. I love fics where Mickey gets to fucking heal or has good things in his life for once.

Favorite Gallavich quotes?
