Angela stared down at the chart in her hands, eyes scanning the words. Despite all the many things the blonde had experience in her life, a fire like that at a New Year’s Eve party wasn’t quite what she was used to. Attacks, purposeful and full of anger, yes, but this was something that appeared entirely different.

When the call had come the medic had been fast asleep, almost miss midnight in favor of rest. Now here she was, wide awake and treating patients when the local hospital had requested further doctors to add to their numbers as the numbers of those injured kept going up.

Once again, her eyes moved down to the chart, mere moments having passed. Somehow when the blonde had gotten the call the item most precious to her had already been packed. Although she wondered if it would even be necessary, cases like this seemed to prove it. She could fix it. Angela could fix it, if she’d try. But how did one even bring that up when there were so many people, from all over? “How do you feel?” Well, it was back to the medical basics.

"That doesn't happen all that often" and seemed a little too good to be true here. He wouldn't have believed it either, if he didn't have strange half memories of things he knew he hadn't lived through. "Do you know if back home even exists anymore?"

"That's true, at least everyone has something in common." It was strange to think of how everyone in this town shared the same outcome, of whatever this magic may be. "Yeah, it's been better than back home for me. I'm hoping to stay."

violet didn't really know why she was letting this happen. she guessed at this point she was just trying to feel something again. anything. but as she was pressed against the alley wall, with the man's hands running up her side under her shirt, mouth against her neck, violet felt nothing. she was completely zoned out. looking deadly straight past to the entrance way. vi knew that she needed to stop this before it got further. wanted to stop it. but her body was stiff and mind was elsewhere. all she was thinking about was os, despite the touches on her right now being nothing like his. making her feel the complete opposite to what he had done.

.｡.:*☆ “Those do all look really beautiful, don’t you think?” Dorothy had never been in an art gallery before, so, she had gotten pretty excited about it. Actually, a fellow student had given her their ticket because they had gotten sick and could not go.

“I really wish I could draw like this,” She added while moving over to the next set of paintings. It was not that Dorothy was not drawintg now and then. In fact, she was often doodling around during rehearsals. “I usually end up with only stickmen. Which can be fun too, for sure.” Like, Dorothy really didn’t wanted to feel bad about it. It would not get her anywhere at the end of the day, after all. “Although I still have a sketch of my dog I made at the age of ten that looks actually pretty good?”

Angela’s brows turned into a frown, listening to the tale without missing a single beat. It was beyond her comprehension why someone would be willing to go through something like that; fight when there was no need for it. At the same time, she couldn’t help but remind herself that in this world it was simply that way. In this world no one was busy fighting a war and so smaller things seemed bigger. It was a strange concept, not one she ever thought to see a chance to get used to.

“Yes- Wait, what? No, of course not.” The blonde whirled around to look at him. “How bad was this fight exactly?” Of course, part of her was concerned with the other participants. If they needed medical attention the former Overwatch agent could only hope they would receive it. With a motion of her hand, she pointed toward a door behind which one of the patient rooms lay hidden. Her own feet marched ahead, reaching for a pair of gloves to clean the wound. “How often do you get into these fights?” It was curiosity, certainly pushed through without wondering about the backlash. ❧ @envicd

"Great, thanks." His enthusiasm was abysmal, treating this as if it was some bothersome chore. Although, with the number of times he found himself in the hospital or clinic, it was starting to become a weekly errand at this point. "Some bloke thought he could get mouthy with me." He states nonchalantly. "I can only put up with his jabbering for so long so he got decked in the face, then he his buddies tried to help out and well," He raises his hand to show off the fresh cut, which was accompanied by many old and healed scars surrounding the first one. "Is this where I say you should see the other guys."

when violet heard the door open, she knew it was just oswald. "hey," violet said, smile on her face. but she didn't look up from her book straight away. but when she did, she stood in shock. he looked like he'd just walked out of a fight with the whole city. she had seen him beat up before, but this? this was different. his face was bruised, one eye looking like it was about to swell shut and there was a gash on his cheek that looked deep enough it might need stitches. there was something else that stirred at her at the sight of him like this. an ache in her chest and her stomach filled with worry. "os, what the fuck happened?" she asked, as she rose, moving to place a hand on his arm to help him sit. she would patch him up, she always would. but violet needed to know what had happened. why he had ended up like this.

the women looked up from her coffee and papers, eyes settling on the other women. she squinted her eyes as if taking her in, searching her brain. she didn't look like anyone she had met here in ivy cove, which meant that it must have been someone from back home... she didn't know which was scarier. "i'm afraid if we have, i'm at a loss." she insists with a small smile, moving some of her papers away. "i'm maeve... please to meet you if this is the first time." she says before gesturing to the seat in front of her. "would you like to join me? it's one of the best places for coffee but it's also one of the most busiest."
