Islands in the Stream (1977). An isolated sculptor is visited by his three sons just before the start of WWII.
Hemingway adaptations are pretty hard to get right, but this is definitely one of the better ones. George C. Scott is a remarkably good Hemingway protagonist (and stand-in, haha), and the ebb and flow of the father-son story at the heart of it is pretty well told. Add to that the really lovely cinematography, and there's a lot to like, even if it never quite grips you. 7/10.

But then, perhaps it wouldn't have gotten crushed by ice if his ship had been named 'Strength.'
If I was exploring the Arctic I simply would not take two ships with the most foreshadowing, ominous names possible.
