Chishiya x fem!reader

TW: cursing, recollection of smut from the earlier chapter, Chishiya being a SIMP... ahem... yeah no i think i just had a SURGE of writer's inspiration (if that's a thing) at the end so... yeah.

A/N: Uhm.. so like.. my knees hurt. (I broke both of them but my arms miraculously survived bc I'm just built different.) ENJOY THIS MEAL THAT I BROKE BOTH OF MY KNEES FOR.

You woke up in his bed the next morning.

Alone.

You rubbed your eyes a few times before looking up from the pillow you accidentally drooled on in your sleep. You just turned it over and hoped he wouldn’t notice..

You sighed when you realized that you were indeed alone in Chishiya’s fancy hotel room.

The partying of the beach never stopped, the booming bass of the speakers echoing up to the room. You softly pulled yourself out of the warm and oh so comfy bed, and dragged yourself to go to your own room.

You didn’t know where Chishiya disappeared off to.. he was usually with Kuina or in a corner observing people. That’s honestly what you loved about him.. he was an observer. He read people.

You skipped down the hallway, humming yourself a tune, arms swinging carelessly at your sides. You went all the way downstairs, to the kitchen.

you expected your snacks from before to not be there but oh well, worth the try, right?

You opened the doors only to see…

Chishiya.

Munching on some crackers—No, some cookies of some sort with yellow packaging—while leaning against the counter.

You softly looking up at him. “Good morning!” You exclaimed a little louder than intended, slightly stunned by his sudden appearance.

Chishiya gazed at you, giving a short nod.

“Sleep well?” He mumbled, swallowing the last cookie/cracker.

You waltzed over to the pantry, already forgetting the surprise from earlier and replacing it with hunger.

“Yeah.” You quickly chirped out while grabbing a bag of gummies. Not the best way to start a morning, but all the granola bars looked like they just got taken out of a dumpster.. or worse.

You glanced at him while you opened the bag with your teeth. “What about you?” You questioned while popping a gummy in your mouth.

He started at you for a few moments before looking away. “.. fine.”

“Was it because I took up the entire bed? People say I do that a lot. I don’t know if it’s just how I sleep or if I get hot and move around—” You rambled, popping another gummy in your mouth.

Chishiya just listened. Like always. Your voice was intoxicating. Not in the bad way, but in the way that made him want to hear you in every way possible.

He’s heard you intimately, yes, but he’s never heard your real laugh, or your real cries. He wanted to hear them, to know you completely.

Oh, he’d do anything to hear your laugh. He’d get on all fours for it. When he heard it for the first time it was like you switched something in his brain... or perhaps you just released serotonin naturally. It was interesting. It made him want more.

He never wanted to be the reason to make you cry, of course not. Maybe if you came to him for comfort, tears streaming down your beautiful cheeks as they started to redden… maybe if—

“Hey. You still with me?” You waved a hand in front of Chishiya’s zoned out face.

He snapped back into reality, looking up from the floor, dragging his gaze to your eyes.

“Hm..? Yeah. Go on.” He mumbled, not putting much attention into whatever his response was. Not that he cared, anyways.

You nodded before continuing your little story about how you found a flower, but someone accidentally stepped on it.

“He apologized and everything but I’m still mad about it.. like... why didn’t he just look down before stomping around like that, right Chishiya?”

He let out a soft hum, listening as he threw away the yellow packaging.

Even as he left the kitchen, you followed, rambling on and on. Eventually he just turned around and wrapped his hand on your waist, pulling you closer than ever.

You froze.

“You never shut up.” Chishiya quickly mumbled, pressing a soft kiss to your temple before shoving his hands back in his pockets and turning back around walking off like nothing just happened.

You couldn’t help but follow him, crossing your arms. It was like second nature to you.

You followed him around like a tiny bunny with an attitude following a wolf. Its not that he hated it, either, if he was being honest.

You were the light in this god-forsaken place. This place that should've turned to ash forever ago. This place that genuinely hated everything kind and light. He wanted to swallow it. To completely own it in every way possible. He had no place to, but he wanted it more than he wanted to live.

Chishiya turned the corner, walking out into the Beach's lobby. You skipped in front of him, doing a little spin before giggling and turning to him. "This place is huge! I never really paid much attention to it, but now it's all coming together since there's not many people out here. Honestly its usually really packed, but it's the morning and now people are either playing games or sleeping... I wonder what.." Chishiya slowly blinked as he just blocked you out. He did that often, only to focus on more important things.. like how your bathing suit clinged to you almost like it was holding on for dear life.. how your hair was kinda messy from just waking up, how you seemed so full of life.

Fuckin' kill him now.

His thoughts were flooded of past experiences. Of you. He was fucked.

Under him.

Beside him.

On him.

Around him.

Yup.

Utterly fucked..

You sat beside Chishiya at another awful meeting. Per usual..

You sighed and played with the hem of your lace-shawl. It seemed to be more entertaining than whatever Mira and Keiichi (#1 Executive for people wondering) were arguing over.

You sighed softly, almost as if you wanted Chishiya to hear you. You didn't. But he did. Chishiya spared an all-knowing glance at you before sliding his hand down and resting it on your knee.

You flinched slightly from his cold but surprisingly comforting touch. You smiled softly and reached down to play with his fingers instead, not really caring about anything else. Before you knew it, everyone was standing up and exiting the room. Chishiya stood slowly, almost like he was reluctant to force you to stop touching him. He sighed and looked down at you.

You looked up at him.

Silence.... Very awkward silence..

You suddenly stood to your feet, almost like a cartoon shooting up after sitting on something sharp. You laced your fingers with his, your lace shawl falling off one of your shoulders slightly. You saw Chishiya relax a bit before ripping his eyes off you, looking down at the floor instead.

"Soooooo..." You smiled at him, noticing the way he firmed up at your tone. Chishiya nearly rolled his eyes and told you to keep it inside your head. Just at the mere tone of your voice. You rested the back of your hand on your forehead, assisting the gesture with an overly dramatic sigh.

"I didn't even say anything yet!" You huffed.

"I can just tell that you're going to ask me something bizarre.. so, I don't need you to say anything." He stated like it was obvious.

"Hey! It's not completely bizarre..."

"Everything with you is completely bizarre."

"Meanie..."

"Softie."

You smacked Chishiya in his shoulder a little harder than intended. He just spared you a pitiful glance before walking out of the room, practically dragging you with him. Almost like a toddler carrying around their favorite blankie.

After a long and deafening silence, you finally spoke up. "Chishiyaa~.." You eased, turning to look at him as you walked down the hallway.

"Y/N." He coldly muttered back.

"You know... I've always thought that you and Niragi were enemies and stuff, but you guys seem to hate each other more when I'm around." Chishiya stiffened slightly, his grip on your hand wavering a bit.

"My hatred toward Niragi is nothing you should be concerned about." He almost immediately blurted out. The last thing Chishiya wanted was for you to find out that he actually threatened Niragi for you.

You shrugged, letting go of his hand and skipping in front of him. "Just wonderin'..." You smiled that bright and beautiful smile.

It's not like you both were dating or anything. He didn't have to do that. You didn't have to hold his hand. And Chishiya sure as hell didn't have to be this attached to his little hook-up. It's like a red string connected the two of you, no matter if you like it or not. He was a wolf in sheep's clothing, and you were just... you. A light that anybody and everybody can see. He loved that about you, despite not really being able to love even a part of himself. He loved the way you walked, talked, breathed... he even loved the way you looked at him like he was something worth a shit. This wasn't a sick obsession that he wanted and honestly needed at that moment. This was genuine love. He wasn't used to this. He didn't want to be used to this.

It was all your fault.

Chishiya loved you like a sick puppy but would burn the entire world to ashes if you batted your pretty little eyelashes at him. Hell, he would even kill somebody with his own two hands. You were his world, his unreasonable way of living. A lifestyle. And he loved every bit of you.

He would do anything just to make sure that you wouldn't go to anyone else. That you wouldn't ever be with anyone else. That you only have him, and only him. Because thats all you needed, right?

Just him.

Just you.
