thinking about how senju had been canonically holding back her strength for so long as a result of trying not to lead takeomi astray... like that's got to make an impact on her too, in the sense of like. if you've been holding back your strength for a long time, and not fighting at your full potential, i imagine that'd make it hard to use that full strength again initially when you finally stop holding back?? because she'd be out of practice.

in other words i do feel like senju has the potential to be even stronger than we saw of her in the manga proper. she will always be one of the strongest characters in my heart <3
