yeah like i mentioned i have planet of the bass and dj crazy times blocked. i’m sick of seeing that ableist’s incredibly punchable face on my dash. and i’m also sick of people (not on here, mostly on tiktok) defending him or pretending his ableist content was just a little whoopsie and not 1. the thing that gave him his entire platform and 2. something he was made aware was ableist and continued to do unchanged

so, just for the record, staff's blatantly discriminatory rules enforcement practices are only half the story. like, if you ever find yourself wondering why trans women are always getting termed right after their posts about transmisogyny start getting numbers (and mysteriously start getting mature content flagged for seemingly no reason), its bc there are a couple of specific circles of people who mass report tgirls who talk about that sort of thing too loudly (or, y'know, they're just generally annoyed by). there's at least one discord server more or less dedicated to the practice to my knowledge and i wouldn't be surprised if there were more.

staff, of course, can perform the tied hands routine bc of this - they're just responding to reports! and now that the first ban is served, any subsequent attempts to rebuild one's social life are read as Ban Evasion. girls are left with the non-choice of permanent exile or starting over from scratch, trying to be quieter this time so they don't get found. this is the point, and its being done with purpose by people who, funnily enough, spend most of their time talking about the importance of Community. lol and lmao

he’s a medic and also he’s a teenager. he is not a doctor or anything. he’s just a medic, a war medic, who uses medical terms as insults because he’s a nerdy teenager.

he cares about nico’s health because in BoO he literally over use his powers to the point he was about to fade from existence. and will doesn’t want that to happen. he doesn’t want people to die, especially the people that he cares about. i hate that people mischaracterize him freaking out about nico getting a paper cut. he would not freak out like that. at most he would give nico a band aid (probably a star wars one bc he’s a loser/j). he’s not going:

Will: omg nico! you have a paper cut! you are dying!

or whatever. he doesn’t overreact. quite the opposite. he keeps a calming demeanor for his siblings and the people around him. he’s level headed and lets be honest, he was acting like that in BoO bc he had a big fat crush on nico 😭

more ppl need to realize that will isn't a full-blown doctor. or a nurse, even. he's a medic. he doesn't know everything in the book. he prob doesn't care much abt smoking as long as you don't get addicted. he's not a medicine-wiz and he's not crazy protective over ppls health. he's literally just a medic. a medic.
