Michael's angel form redesign <3

big thanks to @luckykittysshowerthoughts and @madamscream for helping me with it! close up, because i don't trust tumblr to keep the quality.

Michael now has a golden flower crown! It's something i've started to give all of my seraph designs (even the demoted one, Simeon). It's essantially a status symbol, usually worn only by the seraphim and high-ranking goverment officials. The flower depicted on the crown is a lily. Lilies commonly represent death, grief, purity and modesty. I chose it because of that symbolism- Michael's lost plenty of people, cried for their loss, and then put on the face of father's holiest angel. The exemplary angel. The Celestial Realm's golden child. But flowers are quite eye-catching. They're big and colourful, and are beloved by people of all species. Michael's mourning a traitor. Lucifer, who in rebelling against his Father sinned both against Him and his own kin. He needs to be discreet. A crown of lily buds, shut tight, lest their petals expose the bearer's feelings. A crown of hidden mourning.

Michael's hair is magical now! It's inspired by Luna's mane. It starts as normal hair, and becomes flowy and shiny as it goes down.

The wings are bigger than they are on Lucifer's in-game angelic outfit, mostly to make them more belivable. The size of canon wings is, quite frankly, pathetically small. Those aren't flying anyone anywhere lol

The inside of the robe became darker, and i added some stars and constelations to it. (Because of his intrest in astronomy) His nail polish (usually royal blue) turns white. The sash became longer, got a pattern, and floats now.

Rating Paradise Lost healers based on how safe you are going to them

Lucifer - 10/10 bro has cheats activated. The only one that I can see having a medical degree. I would trust this man with a brain surgery, he's a good doctor.

Gamigin - 10/10 again, he has a magic pearl that can bring back the dead. He can heal you instantly and he's a good boy so he'll do it from the kindness of his heart. He probably only knows home remadies for less deadly illness or pains (puterea calului and gălbenele 💀) , but he's trying his best.

Marbas - 8/10 he has a fifty-fifty change of him either killing or healing you. He's agressive and horny, so much so that he needs to be tied up on the job. But I can still see him killing someone for giving of wrong vibes (like in Chapter 4). Also, he can't move that much when he's tied up, so his healing is also limited.

Morax - 6/10 this man cured someone's lobotomy. He is so airheaded that he can't realise the danger he puts himself through. He has no medical degree, he probably never went to school past 5th grade. The moment he realised his ability he finally had purpose in life. You'd feel bad even if he heals a paper cut for you.

Buer - 4/10 Lucifer probably poached him from Tartaros with the help of the dog god so he could be the accountent in Paradise Lost. All he knows is essantial oils and yoga. He doesn't do it for profit, he's simply grossed out by surgeries. His the recovery and phisiotherapy guy, he gives nice messages. Just... don't ask him about anything related to your insides.

Jjok - 1000/10 he's the therapy dog of the group and he's the only one keeping the hospital from gettint sued. We pay our respects to Jjok, the MVP of this whole opperation.

i think most reasonable people were able to figure out that this was a joke, basically pushing back against mras weaponizing the male suicide rate to coerce women into coddling them (often going hand and hand with the “male lonliness” concept) or shut down discussions of male privilege. essantially it was meant as a “then perish” to misogynists who are acting like women are licherally killing them by not putting out. i thought the context would be understood and the joke would obviously be snappier without this overly long explanation.

Everyone who has seen a few of my posts knows I'm not a fan of booktok and the books that are famous on this platform. But as I'm currently reading the serpent and the wings of night, a book which is/was rather popular on Tik Tok I must say I really like it.

It's definitely not the best book I've ever read, but it's very entertaining and not that bad written.

What I want to say with this is that not everything on booktok is essantially bad and that there are good book recommendations there.

I ended up reading academic lit on why dubcon/"forced seduction" is so popular in fantasies largely for/by women and respecting it as a highly stylized fantasy even though it's not for me. There's all kinds of messy/weird stuff in commonly held male sexual fantasies too, and nobody goes around essantializing those as what they literally want irl.

The level of scrutiny and literalism applied to largely female pov sexual fantasies is misogynistic. Humans are weird. Human brains are weird. And fantasy is not reality.

So i don't think there's anything inherently wrong there. But I know even the "light" versions of stylized dubcon "abusive" dialogue/behavior when I see them, because they're a long-term fascination for me, and I know when they're not present in a story, too.
