It's a different thirst Thursday post today. I just wanted to remind you all to hydrate. It's very warm these days and hydration is very important as many people, including me, forget to drink water. Along with that, remember to rest when needed and take breaks. Sometimes things can get very overwhelming so a break is important and needed to recharge.

And following that a nice swim at the beach or pool always helps me too. Why I am in there with clothes? That's a long story! 😅

And I'm also adding some photos of some drinks we have at the Cafe bar, refreshing and delicious. No I'm not getting paid to advertise the bar 😂

Alright ladies!!! After a full 65 hours of the album being out I am Finally sharing my Thots 👀

I have three full 8 hour shifts of listening to Nothing Else under my belt, (plus an unspecified number of hours listening outside if work...) so I'm Basically an Expert 😌💗

Dear my universe: We love a space/space-adjacent themed Astro song in this house 😌😌😌 this is such a nice choice to start off the album (also I'm a fucking nerd and so the way that the First Song on The Album is called 'Dear my universe' like addressing a letter? Like as if the album itself is kind of like a love letter from Astro to Aroha?? 🥺 Okay I'll stop. But it's just a thot that came into my head and now I'm having Feelings 🤧💜) the echoey parts and the harmonies?? So yummy, so pretty, I love it 💗

Butterfly Effect: HELLO my Love 😍💓💌💝💜💞💖💘💕💗 I was Warned by @entry-777 to be prepared for Rocky Vocals, which is a Good Thing bc if I wasn't ready for it I probably would have started crying or somethin lame like that and looked Quite Foolish in front of my coworkers, however I was NOT warned about JINWOO VOCALS (Danny you slipped Queen!!! 😭) It was like. 6 seconds. But it was there and it's gonna live in my head rent free for the next full calendar year, also Moonbin and Eunwoo's falsettos??? GOD everyone sounds so great in this song. I love our Six Vocalists 😪💜

ONE: my ONE opinions have Grown and Matured over the course of listening to it quite literally like 75 times. Do not be mistaken, I never disliked it, but I did have Certain Opinions. For example, it is a Certified Fact that I have stated before: an Astro Title Track is not an Astro Title Track without MJ throwing up Angel High Notes above the last chorus. And when I listened to ONE for the first time I was not satisfied in that department. He did like, A Few, but I was waiting for more to come and like picturing in my head what it was going to sound like and then they didn't come and I was Mildly Disappointed. So that was just one thing that like, I wanted a little more than what I got, which does not mean that I didn't like what I did get!!! Anyway, after listening to it Many More Times and paying close attention to harmonies and such I am a bit more satified with the ad-libs he did get, it's just that this song is Different than other Astros Title Tracks, it is a different style so I guess what they gave him fits more with that style than what I was expecting (still wish he had gotten to shine a little more in this Title but what are you going to do?) It could very well be the 'you listened to this song so much you are tricking yourself into liking it more' thing, but my love for this song has definitely grown in the past few days (and again!! I never disliked it in the first place!) it is still not one of my top faves on the album but that's only bc Astro are B-side Kings! I still do really like this song

Someone Else: (okay at first I Did Not Realize this was just an MJJinjinMoonbin song?? I did not Know we were getting unit songs in this album, but that explains why I didn't hear anyone else's voices in it 🤷 agdjahdjakd) in any case, I like her! She is very Fun and Funky 😌 definitely one I will continue to listen to often (also fun fact: that electronic sound at like 2:32 the first time I heard it my body physically reacted like one of Pavlov's dogs bc that same sound is also in the song that I have set as my alarm ahdjskahdjsj 'oh? we are Waking Up now? :)' Queen calm down, you are awake lmao)

SNS: Ma'am..... Hello????? Omg I love this song so much, the beat, the vocals, the soda can (yes I noticed!!! Omg when I tell y'all I got a rush of serotonin when I heard that...) another thing I absolutely adore about this song is the 'ah-ahhh, ah-ahhh' part bc it makes my brain do the same thing as when it sees an optical illusion where the thing I'm seeing switches back and forth based on what I'm focusing on like 'oh, now I see a vase, oh now it's two faces' that except with sound (so an aural illusion I guess is what that would be??) Like 'oh, that's Human Voices making that sound' but then if I focus on it it sounds like an Electronic Phone Buzzing Text Notification Sound (and then I focus on it again and it's Voices) which is probably what was intended considering it's a song named after texting? I just think that's so cool, I love that they did that and it sounds really Neat

I'm gonna Do Drugs (this song) and forget my problems 😌 this song qualifies as a Hardcore Party Drug. I am going to grind this song up into a fine powder and snort it like cocaine. Holy FUCK this song is good. This song would really be the Bloom of the album, if not for.....

Jisoo is stressed

Like... about to curl up into a ball and cry stressed

After Jeonghan’s surprise proposal, he’d immediately gone into planning mode, fretting about every single detail before Jeonghan could take his first sip of hot chocolate

It’s endearing... sorta, to see Jisoo worrying over every detail of the wedding, muttering to himself about dates and locations and food and guests, but he would much rather have his fiancé focus on the here and now

He pokes Jisoo’s cheek, and the father looks up at him confusedly. Jeonghan laughs, leaning forward and pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. “Love, don’t stress. We’ll get a wedding planner to sort all this out, okay? Just spend some time snuggling with us before we head out for dinner.”

Jeonghan’s blasé attitude about the whole thing helps slightly, but Jisoo’s mind races, wondering if this is how Jeonghan will be about the entire wedding

but... a little special (read: spiked) hot chocolate couldn’t really hurt now could it?

(It really doesn’t, and Jeonghan is so thankful Jisoo isn’t panicking about something they haven’t even begun to talk about)

That night, Jeonghan’s parents, who run the ski resort, offer the couple the lodge for their reception, and Jisoo bursts into tears, going into a full bow to thank his future in-laws for the overly generous gift

Jeonghan stands aside, watching his parents fawn over Jisoo’s emotional state, both hands occupied with Jisoo’s daughters, who are staring at their father cry into his mom’s shoulder  

“Samchon, why is Daddy crying?” Eunwoo asks quietly, frowning at Jisoo’s tears. Jeonghan leans down and presses a kiss to her forehead.

“They’re good tears, baby” he explains gently. The twins tackle him in a hug, burying their faces in Jeonghan’s shoulder, mumbling words of love.

“I love you both,” he murmurs, holding them while Jisoo recomposes himself, turning to melt at the sight of his fiancé and his daughters all cuddled up

Jeonghan asks Seungcheol to be his best man, nearly getting knocked off his feet when Seungcheol tackles him in a bear hug, yelling “OF COURSE I WILL” into his poor ear

Jisoo’s best man “proposal” was far quieter; he’d simply asked Jihoon out for dinner one night, and the producer had agreed easily, honored that Jisoo had even thought of him

Getting a wedding planner turns out to be the easiest solution to Jisoo’s stress. Seokjin plans out everything they need to tackle and writes out every deadline they need to meet, and Jisoo is instantly calmer

(Jeonghan loves watching Jisoo go off on a tangent as he rambles on and dreams of crystals and icy blues, wintery inspirations to re-live when they first met)

They agree that winter would be far too cold (and busy) for their wedding, despite Jisoo’s dream, but he also doesn’t want everyone to die from pneumonia because they want to show off their fancy clothes

The wedding planner (bless Seokjin, Jisoo might’ve had an aneurysm by now if not for him) suggests that they use the autumn colours for the wedding ceremony, and shift into a more winter inspired aesthetic during the reception

They rarely fight, and Seokjin is pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to work with them... until the guestlist comes up.

Jisoo wants it smaller, more intimate, and Jeonghan apparently feels obligated to invite everyone he’s ever spoken to. Jihoon and Seungcheol sip their coffees as they watch the couple fight

“Of course we have to invite her! She’s been at the ski lodge for ages!” Jeonghan argues, and Jisoo rolls his eyes. “Hannie, babe, you don’t even know her last name!”

In the midst of the planning, they’re also apartment hunting, because as nice and homey as Jisoo’s apartment is, it’s too small for four people

And Jeonghan’s apartment is the textbook definition of a bachelor pad; minimalist with an empty fridge, takeout boxes in the trash

They haven’t found anything so far, although they have a few viewings between their jobs, and looking after the girls, and planning their wedding and –

Okay they’re stretched pretty thin, but they just really want everything to be perfect okay?

Everything comes far too quickly, and before Jisoo can internalize that his wedding is happening – it’s really happening!!! – it’s suddenly the day of their final fitting

He’s about to leave the house after instructing his babysitter Hansol to not feed his girls too much candy again, when he receives a call from Jeonghan

Jisoo: You better not be late or I will skin you alive

Jeonghan: Hello to you too baby, and no – well yes but –

Jisoo: JEONGHAN!!!!

Jeonghan pleads for mercy, and Jisoo relents, grumpily letting him explain why he’s going to be late for their fitting, claiming that this apartment is everything they could ever want

“But it’s the final fitting!” Jisoo protests weakly, already knowing he’s going to be rescheduling the final fitting for a couple hours later, because he’s weak for his soon-to-be husband, and also maybe he’s excited for this apartment too

Thankfully, there’s another slot for them to do their final fitting, and Jeonghan and Jisoo head to the apartment, excitement bubbling tangibly between them

It’s perfect, but Jisoo wants to think about it before committing to a new apartment, because it might have some sort of hidden problem or issue, or transport could be too far, or – there were just so many possibilities

The two weeks before the wedding passes in a blur, and on D-day the wedding goes off flawlessly (or as flawlessly as a wedding can go)

Eunwoo and Nayoung of course, are the cutest flower girls, beaming as they skip down the aisle, throwing flowers semi-aggressively onto the floor

Jeonghan’s hair is almost white, creating a soft halo around his face, matching his white wedding tuxedo. Jisoo’s in a specially tailored black suit, dark, chocolate hair styled up (the way Jeonghan secretly thirsts over)

They’re perfect opposites, and perfect for each other

Jeonghan presents a set of keys to Jisoo during their couple toasts. He takes them, expecting some cheesy speech about Jisoo now holding the key to his heart

(Surprise bitch, they’re apartment keys)

“I love you so much and the only thing i want to do is make you happy. o those of you that aren’t aware, Jisoo and i went apartment hunting two weeks ago, and we found the perfect place. Jisoo didn’t want to commit to it too early, but what he doesn’t know is I already signed the lease in both our names. This is my wedding gift to you, dear husband.”

YOU CAN BET JISOO IS BAWLING HIS EYES OUT

He deadass throws himself at Jeonghan, who just laughs, blinking back his own tears because he’ll be damned if their wedding photos show how much of a saP both of them are
