Nicole looked around as she stood in line with Ryder in his stroller, waiting to see Santa. She had invited Rhys to join them and she was going he'd show up before they got up to see the Christmas icon. Last year, Ryder was so tiny that he didn't realize what was going on, but now he was just over 13 months and was more aware so she was excited to see how he'd react. Finally spotting her son's father, she waved over to him and smiled as he approached. "Rhys, hey. Did you bring the camera?" She asked curiously, knowing while they did pictures with Santa, she wanted Rhys to take one or two as well.

Timothy Dalton's last James Bond film Licence to Kill was released on July 14, 1989. It wasn't meant to be his last film, but due to legal issues, another Bond film wasn't able to go into production until 1995 and by that time Dalton was ready to move on. For the most part, the movie took on a more series tone for the character and story keeping more to the Bond of the books as was the case of Dalton's previous film The Living Daylights. It was the first Bond film not to be titled after one of the Ian Fleming Bond books, but the story pulled from many elements from Live and Let Die and The Hildebrand Rarity. David Hedison became the first actor to play the role Felix Lieter (Live and Let Die - 1973/Licence to Kill - 1995) more than once and the only actor play the role against two different Bonds (Roger Moore and Dalton). Besides being Dalton's last film as Bond, it was also the last Bond film with Robert Brown as M and Caroline Bliss as Moneypenny, and the last Bond film worked on by writer Richard Maibaum, director John Glen, and title designer Maurice Binder. The film also featured Robert Davi (Franz Sanchez), Carey Lowell (Pam Bovier), Talisa Soto (Lupe Lamore), Anthony Zerbe (Milton Krest), Frank McRae (Sharkey), Everett McGill (Killifer), Wayne Newton (Professor Joe Butcher), Benicio Del Toro (Dario), Anthony Starke (Truman-Lodge), Desmond Llewelyn (Q), Priscilla Barnes (Della Churchill), Don Stroud (Heller), Grand L Bush (Hawkins), and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Kwang). Time feels inconsistent here, this personal nightmare of his. He measures it instead by the ache in his legs as he fights against the resistance of the dust underneath them, and it's at some indistinct point where the chill in the air has already sunk bone-deep that the clouds start to emit faint, vermillion light. The buildings that appear with it are like a mirage at first. Nonphysical distortions of shelter in the distance, only that they don't betray him with their realness and solidify themselves into being the closer he gets. They are dilapidated things with strangely urban architecture, weathered and beat and visibly abandoned for possibly over a decade, but to Zhilan they are a temporary distraction from the unease that tends to grip him while in the desert. He ducks into one, backing up as the wind whips and howls around it. Yet he neglects to realize that it is already occupied, discovering this by abruptly colliding into them back-first. He swings around in an instant, the sharp tip of his polearm pointed at them having been manifested into his hands from thin air. Their identity is a belated arrival to his senses, but once they truly lock eye contact the name leaves him sharply, startled. ❝ —— Wang yi? ❞

The 3rd version and first EON Production version of Casino Royale was released on November 17, 2006. Daniel Craig took over the role of Bond becoming 6th EON James Bond. The film was the start of a pocket universe of Bond separate from the Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan films before it. Judi Dench was the only one who crossed over both Bond universes playing M in both. The Craig Bond universe restarted the tradition of using Fleming book titles (they had been using unique titles since The Living Daylights) at least for the first two movies, took on a more serious and realistic tone, the movies were more connected and less stand alone, and had the same actor play Felix Leiter (in the previous franchise films Felix was played by a different actor each time, with only one actor playing it twice). Casino Royale was the first Bond book Ian Fleming wrote. The movie serves as a Bond origin story. The movie stayed close to the main plot points of the book including the torture scene and the down ending. The movie set a world record for most barrel rolls assisted by a cannon.
