New Windenburgian Prince Sides with Simsdom Empire

The newly minted Prince Antony Lofton gave the world a shock when he was seen with our very own Tsarina at the Imperial Palace this afternoon

Her Imperial Majesty stood on a platform set up outside the Imperial Palace today to address her Empire, and the world, in a speech, with her daughter, Crown Princess Ophelia, and none other than Prince Antony Lofton by her side.

"I stood on this very spot a few years ago to regretfully announce the start of this long war with Windenburg, and I wish I could tell you that I'm standing here now to announce it's ending. Unfortunately, I am not. But I am here to celebrate the many wins we have acheived over the course of the last few years, the many terrtories freed from oppressive subjugation, and to honor those we have lost in this fight against tyranny. To that end, I am so pleased to share with you the reason for today's gathering- Mr. Antony Fitzroy of Fitzroy Financials, San Myshuno, has graciously donated a sum of one million dollars to the Simsdom Imperial War Effort from his charity, Isabella's Trust!"

Royal watchers were stunned at the news! Antony was just made a megitimized Prince of Windenburg and added to the line of succession, standing in a Windenburgian military uniform at his mother's wedding to Emperor Victor, and yet here he is, standing besdie our Tsarina, donating a huge amount of money to our side of the war effort! Is it a trick? Is he double crossing his own father? Or perhaps Tsarina Ekaterina?

Also in attendance at the ceremony were members from every branch of the Allied military forces- Imperial Navy and Army, as well as representatives from Willow Creek, Brindleton Bay, Newcrest, and Oasis Springs.

Prince Antony himself said a few words as he shook the Empress' hand, saying;

"This war has gone on for far too long, and too many lives have been ruined, or ended, from abuses of power. My charity- Isabella's Trust- aims always to help the powerless gain their own freedom in taking control of their lives, and we are proud to partner with the Simsdom Empire today, who have been fighting tirelessly for the past few years to fight oppression. This tyranny has gone on long enough, it's time for and end to the cruelty and the manipulation, it's time for justice. Isabella's Trust hopes this donation will help to achieve that."

Quite the spokesman, of course he didn't say Emperor Victor's name outright, but everyone knows who he's talking about. What a complete surprise! If Victor, the self-proclaimed family man can't even expect loyalty from his own children, then how can he expect it from his subjects? He elevated Antony and his younger brother Austen to the ranks of Princes and added them to his line of succession, and still they turn their backs on him? What does that say about the man who claims "family" and "traditional values" above everything else? Especially since it seems as though he's completely abandoned his first family since their capture by the Empire, and replaced them with newer models, and even they aren't loyal to him? Many in Windenburg are wondering about the strength of their leader, and how long his "Empire" is going to last.

But above all else- if this is what his people are thinking... how is Victor himself reacting to this news?

I have the ‘More Cas Presets’ mod and a ‘More traits for kids’ mod. If you don’t have these installed, the game might tell you in CAS you’re missing CC on the twins, but you’re not.

If you look at the twins in the Tray Importer, it may tell you some files are missing..specifically Cien Z Roza’s ‘No EA Lashes’ mod. I don’t know WHY it’s saying that. It’s started saying that for all of my tray files ever since I downloaded someone else’s Sim that required the no ea lashes mod. It doesn’t effect the twins at all but i thought i should tell you anyway.

I never check that since I make them for female sims, but if you change some tags in S4S you should be able to check the hair you want yourself :D

Recolors are really easy to do, there are tons of tutorials on YouTube that will help with that. Ombre accessories are a bit challenging but hopefully I can get a tutorial for those out one day. Converting to kids is really simple if you know Blender basics, you can use my converting to adults tutorial to get an idea of how a conversion would work.

REMOVE DOUBLES!!!! lmao that is the only way you will get anything done in edit mode. Proportional Edit Tool and Removing doubles from the entire mesh makes it a lot easier than sculpt mode. Make sure to split edges later though

Mix’n Match Curtain Set vol. 1

Hey you all, today I will bring you a begin of a curtain Set which is going to expand gradually. You might think, 'What set, I see only 2 curtains here?' You’re right but this set contains 10 pieces. They are the basis for everything else.

I could have kept working, but I'm having trouble concentrating. Can't make such big sets anymore. Lose the overview, the concentration and finally the joy and it will never be uploaded. That's how it happens only piece by piece. I hope you understand that. 😏

The curtains comes in 16 different patterns and colours, so they have 32 swatches.The back side looks different then the front side. And I have to warn you, they are a bit high poly (4000 one side) because they needed 2 planes for front and back. I've turned the polygons down as far as they can, without any great loss of quality. Come on... the original has 40000 polys and this without front or back. 😇 You can ‘hang’ the curtains on window without the bb.moveobjects on. But für position the laterally curtain holders and curtain rods, the cheat must be activate and then adjust in high. I don't wanted to apply the rods directly to the curtains because the different versions and swatches. That would have been too much curtains swatches. In addition, it is supposed to be a mix'n match set, so surely other Rods and rails will come to combine.🧐

So it gives a left, middle and a right side for builds a endless rod. ;) The counter shader ensures that it is seamless. There is also a mid-rod holder for the "static". It looks like more realistic. Then it gives a left and a right single rod too, it fits only the rightly side from the curtain because the rings are positioned differently.

Petros: What was it you wanted to speak to me about? Your plans for our island?

Jonas: No, Sir. Not in that way, I mean.

Petros: What do you mean.

Jonas: What I’m about to tell you must not leave this room. This is vitally important information that could undermine the entire war effort. You must swear to me now, King Petros, that you will not tell a soul what I am about to tell you- not your counselors, not your wife, and not your children. No one.

Petros: …Not to be rude, but if it would undermine the Windenburgian war effort, then I cannot swear to keep it secret. 

Jonas: Not the Windenburgian effort- the Simsdom effort.

Petros: What?

Jonas: You have to swear, Sir.

Petros: … Very well, I swear.

Jonas: From the beginning of the war I have been working undercover to deliver top secret information and strategies from my father’s war room, to the Simsdom Empress Ekaterina.

Petros: You’ve been spying on your own father?

Jonas: My allegiance is with what’s right, King Petros, not with blood ties. My father’s war is wrong.

Petros: Didn’t he start this war in your name? Because the Imperial Crown Princess rejected your proposal?

Jonas: That was his cover story, yes. But in reality, he has always had ambitions higher than what his inheritance has allowed him. He’s always been resentful of the Simsdom Empire, and was bitter when Ophelia and I broke up because he felt like he lost his one chance at a power grab. My father is greedy, and used my name and my relationship to justify a war. I have to do everything in my power to undermine him and give the Empire a fighting chance. 

Petros: You think by spying on your father, you’ll clear your name?

Jonas: I hope that one day, when this war is over, the truth will come out and everyone will know that I have only ever tried to do what’s right, and that Ophelia and I are still good friends, even after everything, but that’s not why I’m doing it. I’m doing it because it’s what’s right. 

Petros: Why are you telling me this?

Jonas: You need to know that I am working with the Empress to get you guys your freedom and your island back. But you cannot tell anyone else. The less people that know, the safer we all are.

Petros: I can’t even tell my family? My daughter, Phoebe, she hates you. Wouldn’t you like to clear your name starting here?

Jonas: Let her hate me. It’s better for everyone if they all think I’m the enemy. Then you and I can get to work.

Petros: Thank you, Prince Jonas. This is such a weight off my shoulders…

Jonas: Don’t breathe out just yet, we have a long way to go. But I’m glad to be of service to you and your family.

These are seriously the reasons why so many cc creators stop making cc. Seriously all Custom Content creators only ask for the fandom to follow their terms of conditions, and yet people still go behind the creators back and reupload, convert, claim, and even recolor without permission. So much that big cc creators feel like they are being taken advantage of and hate seeing their hard work being claimed as someone else’s. I have seen one of my favorite cc creators threaten to leave the community and then my other favorite cc creator completely leave the community all because some of the people are breaking their only rules. I know it’s not all of us, because majority of us are respectful and appreciate this but sites like SimsDom are just ruining this one thing that keep a lot of us even still interested in the sims.

It’s a little disappointing how the sims fandom is starting to turn out. Whether it’s someone cc being stolen or claimed, to unnecessary drama, to complaining about anything and everything EA puts out as a dlc. I just kind of wish things would go back to how they use to be, where a lot of the fandom still appreciated all of EA and Maxis decisions, and when cc creators made cc for fun and enjoyed it and didn’t feel like a slave that has to produce more content all the time.

Hopefully in the future we will become better, so stay strong Sims Community, there can always be a change.

It has come to my attention, and many other creators’ attention, that a website under the name SimsDom is posting external links to CC creator’s content under ad links (60 seconds), therefore, profiting off of our content without our permission. While the mods of the site plead this is not illegal, it does not excuse the fact that they are in violation of many users’ TOUs (and possibly copyright infringement as a whole), and actions such as these are incredibly upsetting and inexcusable.

Here are just a few pieces of unauthorized CC:

Notice that none of the content pictured indicates a creator name (unless specified in the original, stolen image). Only when you search for your URL specifically, your content will not be immediately shown.

And to expand upon the real issue, your CC posts are being monetized before a user visits your original post. (Even so, this isn’t always the case, either. Some posts on SimsDom link to the download itself, rather than the original post. So you may be missing out on notes or reblogs of your content. This method tends to vary) If someone were to download content on SimsDom, they’d either have to sit through a 60 second ad (while an adblocker is enabled) or become a member of the site to disable all ads, therefore speeding up the downloading/browsing process, much like TSR. (the only difference being that TSR creators/users upload the content themselves)

The price for membership ranges anywhere between ~$2 a month to ~$20 a year. All without creator permission! Not only are they taking advantage of creators, they are taking advantage of their users/members.

And to make matters worse, when a creator makes a request to have their content removed from the site, they are met with indifference and disrespect. A fellow content creator, @isjao, requested to have their content removed, this is how the conversation played out:

The message on the right can be translated to (as per Google Translate):

“Hello, isjao. Your request for site administration was passed on and we reviewed your request better. We have seen that you are a creator who really does not deserve any downloads coming from the SimsDomination. SimsDomination usually sends between 30% and 90% of the total downloads to a creator. If you want to be a creator of Tumblr, you will be. We’ve removed your creations and blocked future directions to your Tumblr and site. If we see indications of Tumblrs that have relogared their posts, as the link informed, we will remove as well. But keep in mind that you are not the only item creator in the world. It’s not we who depend on you and yes, you rely on disclosure to help you have more downloads. The indications for your items have been removed. We wish you a great week.”

And in a Tumblr post, SimsDom addressed the issue as well:

While I understand many CC creators use services such as Adfly (myself included), Patreon or receive donations through PayPal or Ko-Fi, this does not mean we shouldn’t have control over who is able to use our content for profit or forfeit the right to request it doesn’t. And when a simple request is made to have content removed, we shouldn’t be met with disrespect.

SimsDom is clearly violating our rights to our content, and they need to be held accountable. If possible, I urge you to get in contact with a site admin if you feel as though you are being treated unlawfully or disrespectfully. Be sure to notify fellow content creators if you see their content being used without their permission! And in the meantime, I, as well as others, will research a way to get this site removed.

But there is just so much incredible CC out there being made by talented, hardworking creators that, again, it literally took me a week to transfer and organize it all! I wanted to repeat that I would never release a recolor or mesh edit of anyone else's content without first asking permission, so that is why I've given you links to where you can get the items for yourself. Plus, my recolors are made with my specific story in mind, in my specific color palette for the imaginary school and with the Ivanov logo on every piece. Hi! Thank you so much for reaching out and for reading my story! It makes me so happy to hear of other people finding enjoyment in my little pixel people 😂 As for the school uniforms, they're from all over! I found custom content that I liked and just recolored it with a color palette I had chosen for my school, so I'm afraid I can't give you a straightforward link to a single CC set. And I would never release a recolor without asking for permission from the original creators either, so I can't give you the files for the uniforms I created. (Also the uniforms I recolored are really hit and miss 😅 These uniforms were my first ever attempt at recoloring something other than a painting or picture in a frame so they're not the best quality work and I wouldn't want to give you something that isn't the best I can offer lol)

Currently I am still sans-computer which means I am without all of my custom content, however, as soon as I do have my computer back, I will go through and link all of the posts and original creators of the CC that I recolored so you can have a place to jump off from yourself! 😄
