I like so many things about Andor. But up there with the amazing storytelling, and the great characters, and the stunning costuming, and the gorgeous visuals, is that it features people with normal faces and normal bodies.

No one looks like they go to the gym for hours every day unless they are actually the kind of character who would do that. They have wrinkles and grey hair and sometimes they're kind of weird-looking like real people are. The women only wear make-up in settings where it would be normal for women to wear make-up, so they do in the high-end antiques place but they don't in the scruffy rebel base.

I knew that characters looking like models messed with my suspension of disbelief in other shows, but I didn't realise just how much until I watched a show that didn't do that.
