#Thinking about Shadow and Neo rn!!!#Shadows system are like. SUPER outdated. His hardware cant keep up with his software #<- (He overheats a lot which is a cause for more organic body language like blushing and having a reason to breathe)#Neo doesn't understand why he doesn't update his hardware. Neo has a much more efficient processor so she never overheats.#Shadow is afraid to go under such a big change. 1.) Nine PTSD. he gets squeamish about getting unnecessary maintenance.#2.) He prefers to feel organic by slowly updating hardware to mimick aging. 3.) His hardware has Black Arms tech in it!!#His hardware is super adaptive and can't be irreparably damaged because it can heal itself #also he doesn't know if that contributes to his variety of emotions and sentience. so he is NOT gambling that.#Shadow needs to feel like he's organic. Neo doesn't. Neo doesn't understand why he'd choose an old flawed system.#Neo still respects his decision. it actually makes her more curious because be can have such physical responses to stimuli.#ALSO HEHEHE #they bond over having free will stripped from them!#scariest experience of Shadows existence is basically how Neo felt for YEARS. i acknowledge jira's usefulness as a tool. however, when using it as a one size fits all solution to organize every piece of information about a project, it becomes, shall we say, completely fucked,

i'm not even mad at like the interface exactly (though it is terrible), but also the fact that it loads so sluggishly. one of the most unresponsive UX experiences of my life

#i rarely say this but we would be better served by a shared excel spreadsheet #jira is a tool for tracking ephemeral little software tidbits and IT issues #it should not be used for anything that exists in the real world #there HAS to be some other weld tracking software out there. there HAS to be #natalie does textposts

My favourite underrated thing about Tumblr is the low contrast theme. As someone who gets chronic headaches and already spends too much time looking at a computer screen due to my job, this theme hits the sweet spot for me where it doesn't feel like my eyes are actively being destroyed. Like when I'm scrolling Tumblr compared to Reddit or something it's night and day

#apps softwares and websites more low contrast themes pleaaase #my eyes are sensitive to light so light mode gives me a headache #but the white text on a near-black backgroud of dark mode gives me headaches too 😭#at least Dark Reader exists so I can tweak the contrast however I want but it makes websites look like shit

By jove I think I finally made procreate dreams work for something. I love flipbook animation, Procreate is great for flipbook IF you only use one layer. Dreams is great for video editing, but is abysmal for drawing (no lasso tool!! Its been like a year!!!!) BUT if you drag and drop animations from procreate to dreams, it lets me basically use dreams as layers for animation like I wanted. Finally, I can not regret the 20$ spent on this stupid app lmao.

Here's Leman, the ears and tail are separately animated, and it also lets me mess with timing! Prob sounds like nothing to everyone else but I'm delighted lmao.

Digital artists who only use a few brushes for their fully rendered artwork scare me. Wdym you don’t have several gigabytes of brushes that you barely use. What do you mean you use the same five brushes for everything. What do you mean there is such a thing as enough brushes??? You’re obviously wrong, there is never such thing as enough brushes.

#clip studio paint’s asset store is probably the greatest feature of any art software to ever exist #unless some other softwares have something similar. in which the same thing applies #I’m pretty sure I have at least 15 gb worth of procreate brushes too #I have no way of counting but i wouldn’t be surprised if it was over 1000 brushes #not including those that I installed but never imported #if anyone wants some resources please let me know I don’t think i’ve found all of them but probably found most of them #my posts #og post #thoughts for the void #procreate #clip studio paint #digital art
