A small comic based on @suzukiblu's WIP Hereditary Behaviors that might not actually be hypothetical. I meant to schedule it to post this morning but I didn't realize I didn't until after I turned on my sleep tracker last night.

Despite this WIP only having 4 posts in its tag (6 if you include the two that duplicate whenever you go to the latest tab for some reason) I couldn't stop thinking about it. I've been a little obsessed with Lex and Kon lately.

This is my first time making an actual comic and I looked at maybe two reference images for the whole thing. If something looks wrong, that would be why. (Finding a place for the speech bubbles was a nightmare and they don't even fit well.) Also because I didn't shade anything. This was supposed to be a low effort sketch but here we are.

Smol blurb before I serve the main dish (I just had an idea while I was in the shower and decided to write this off mid-shampoo lmao also is kind of a teeny tiny spoiler for my upcoming fic)

We all have seen Young tween/teen Damian Wayne in the animated movies right?? This Morally grey gremlin who's ready to chop off anyone's ankles?

Bro grows up to be a doctor. He's like a person who's not only emotionally in touch with others, but also helps other through his skills. He's well aware of boundaries and space at this age, something that he wasn't aware of when he was a child (remember how he went through Kor'i's laptop and put trackers on all of the Teen Titans? Yeah, bro's come a long way).

Except with you. He's a total ass with you though (affectionately). So melodramatic, so clingy. Literal leech mode 24/7 with you when he's at home. Also snoops a lot. Like a lot a lot. Goes through your phone like it's his own.

And when your girl friends point out that this is a red flag behavior and Damian is insecure as fuck, you just shrug and say it's because you trust him. Because you do, and it's not about him being insecure, it's more like Damian wants to know about every inch of your life. Privacy goodbye.

Acts like the cats on internet that will follow you to the bathroom/shower to "protect you" from the water but will stand behind the shower curtain because they don't wanna get wet.

(He opened your yaoi tabs on chrome once. Never again.)

All in all, Damian invades your privacy all the time. Not in an annoying "I'm watching your every move" kind of way, but more of a "I'm here to take a peek into your life because if I don't know everything about you I might just die".

I've always been curious to know this about the people around me. Most people have been in severe pain, but in my experience few have had what they would say is their 10/10 experience. I guess it's just something I find fascinating, as I had my 10/10 experience quite young and I sometimes forget that not everyone has. In my opinion it changes your relationship with pain and how you engage with it afterwards. If you answered yes, feel free to elaborate on your circumstances in the tags!

I'm currently drawing Kon in his cloning tank and a thought occurred to me.

Do you think he ever got tangled in all his special tubes and shit like a baby does with their umbilical cord? I can imagine Kon just floating in the clone goop solution whatever and twisting around enough to get tied up.

Maybe one time he also suffocated to death. Maybe another time he tore one of the tubes out of the top of his tank. The scientist would have had to work on reattaching it and untangling him without disturbing the process.

These 3 misfits share a refurbished bus in the middle of a forest, gathering scrap to fend for their lives in a deadly apocalypse, where a disease called the Cephalon Virus broke out after a failed science experiment. These are the "tourists" in town.

Taku is by @nottakusblog. I just made their concept design.

The lone-wolf lab rat who lives in an abandoned bus in a forest, fending off an unknown virus.

Noticeable features: Scar on forehead (old gunshot wound), Cuts on left eye (claw marks), and bags under the eyes. (Too much time in the wild/sleepless nights.)

no more "kon got his piercing by asking tim to use a kryptonite needle" (lies, straight up wrong, ignores the significance of kon's earring as a reclamation of his own bodily autonomy after being dehumanized to the point of being tagged like a lab mouse).

instead, if you want something about timkon and intimacy, listen. just picture tim "overthinker" drake in the jewelry store staring at two nearly-identical pairs of simple studs for a full 30 minutes as he tries to determine which would make a better gift for kon (he got overwhelmed by the novelty earrings rack. too many options). he knows why kon wears an earring instead of letting the piercing close up (kon likes the look, but moreover, it's about the fact that it's his body to do with as he likes). so picking the one kon would like best is important!!! he has to get it right!!! he needs to make sure kon has that special little smile on his face when he opens the gift box and understands how much thought tim put into it!!!

(coda: tim sees kon actually wearing an earring he bought him and runs into a mental blue screen of death, realizes he's staring, and then immediately climbs out the window.)
