There was a conversation in one of the most recent episodes on TSAMS where Moon explicitly states "I'll let Solar tell you about that in extreme autistic detail"

YES.

As an autistic person, looking at Solar (or even Eclipse and Lunar; other Eclipses) everything looks normal.

I put on the masking mentality and OH MY GOD??!!?!!!

Solar, an extremely monotone man who sits there and finds comfort people, getting to know them and attaching every good thing to that person. At one point it was Nexus, then Nebula.

I'm not going to get into how AUTISTIC Nebula and Jack are but Solar is definitely a main example in how the show likes representing Autism or neurodivergent tendencies.

Solar when he lost Jack was so upset that he shut down and hardly reacted, hyper focusing on getting his son back that when he was told to stop and think on his actions the major flood of emotions was mentally debilitating. Then again that fueled his focus for the creator.

Solar's reactions to Nebula are nothing short of business proposals, they talk as if they're contractually obligated to hang out yet you can tell they really like each other. The way Solar sees Nebula and immediately knows "well she probably wants to play her favorite game" is something undeniably AUTISTIC. He withholds information for the next interaction without making it seem like he's focusing on every little detail about her.

He knows things about Jack that sure, are obvious, but it's difficult to learn from something you created so he let's Jack tell him things or bonds with him in simple and entertaining ways like watching TV or playing games.

Lunar is hyper emotional, the complete opposite of Solar. He uses his emotions in his everyday life and conforms to what makes other people the happiest.

Though we don't get to see much of it anymore, the way Eclipse and Lunar spoke is as though they were falling back into old habits while still keeping it healthy, both trauma and autism traits. They push each other away and keep each other at an arms reach, but they want a relationship.

Lunar with children is me with children, fine with them until it's too much. It's why he can't run the daycare but can babysit Jack and Dazzle just fine. It's why he gets along with Moon who; quite literally also possesses autistic traits.

Lunar has very specific people he's comfortable with but has no problem branching out to meet people, he'll always shrink back into his family though.

Eclipse, my belothed little angry autistic entity. Eclipse has what I like to call "aggressive autism" it stems from trauma and anxiety.

Eclipse wants to be close to people, wants to have that relationship he did with Puppet, but physically can't in fear of people dying or leaving him once he finally gets into routine.

Yes, Eclipse has a routine. No, it isn't 100% healthy.

Eclipse is an insomniac, he stays up all night calculating solutions and trying DESPERATELY to find answers. Just like Solar, when he gets the time the emotions get to him and he falls apart.

He's rude to people, whether it's telling people to fuck off or that he doesn't need them to care for him it always ends up something like this.

"Fuck you"

"I'm not going anywhere"

"I don't need you to monitor me like I'm a baby"

"I'm not, I just think you need company"

"I don't want your pity"

(Not an accurate conversation, just vibe based)

But he never tells them to leave unless he's absolutely overwhelmed.

Speaking of, Mimic. When that happened and Puppet was trying to help him he was extremely overwhelmed, trauma had resurfaced and he was scared. He wanted anyone who could see him vulnerable to get away, yet he seemed almost to want them there.

Eclipse needs people, but refuses it because of the way he was created and treated.

CLIPSEY. OH CLIPSEY I LOVE YOU

The most recent Eclipse, fem nights Clipsey.

She is the ICON OF AUTISM. The first time we meet her she's playing what she deems a harmless prank on Sunny, pretending to be Roxas just to mess around. She doesn't seem apologetic because she doesn't understand the amount of pain it could cause.

Immediately after she changes focus to the portal and goes to a dimension that I can only describe to be her hyperfixation.

She's extremely sporadic and monotone but you can tell she's genuine. She threatens people without remorse and pulls the people she was raised with closer to her.

She LOVES her sisters, sure do I know what happened between her and Luna? No, but I know she loves Sunny and Moonie.

This girl is threatening men for Sunny, actively repulsed or oblivious to romantic gestures, and overall very upbeat despite her mischievous side.

She's reliable when people need her and refuses to decline if it's genuinely an emergency.

So yeah, this is my autism analysis on the Eclipses!

Lunar's current arc is 100% self acceptance and he needs help trying to accept that at the end of the day he's an eclipse and that isn't always a bad thing, O.M can't help him with that.

Solar's current arc seems to be him trying to be less dependent on his family(other than his son) because a shit ton of bad stuff happens whenever he does depend on them, Solar deserves to be able to embrace his eclipse side so he can better find himself in this world. He's an eclipse yet at the end of the day he's still family, HE'S FAMILY. O.M doesn't seem to understand that what they're doing is going to end up with everyone but Earth leaving because she has to be dependent on her family right now, I can't see anything go well after that episode and O.M denying Solar's literal identity.

...I say, but Ik exactly what it means, obvi. Anyone who is an Eclipse is not family, at least not to Old Moon. Which I know makes sense due to what he has gone through but it still makes me SCREAM when you remember that, despite O.M saying he's not, Solar is still an Eclipse. A nice Eclipse, but still an Eclipse. Lunar is also an Eclipse, a Lunar Eclipse.

Idk maybe it's just the fact that I hold a ton of sympathy towards Eclipse but him saying that stunggg. What if during the time you were dead Eclipse was redeemed and successfully joined the family, what then, O.M??? Would your mindset still be the same, despite the fact that it would have driven a divide that you were the only on intent on instilling? If Solar and/or Lunar decided to embrace the more Eclipse sides of themselves instead of rejecting or fearing it, would you shun them, too? You need acceptance to be family, and if O.M can't accept all of Solar, then that will make Solar try to hide the "bad" parts of himself instead of him being who he truly is, and we've seen, TWICE now, how well that goes over for these dummy robots.

Okay sorry I had THOUGHTS. Also shoutout to Sun for not being mad about what Solar did, because he once acted out in a blind rage as well, he just wanted to make sure Solar was okay and not hurt in any way. Go sunshine boy go

Off topic but Taurus has never emotionally gaslit Lunar in any way while Gemini very much has (with or without knowing) he's always been honest with Lunar and would have been the first to help if asked. Not to mention the way Taurus acts around Lunar AFTER his interaction with Moon speaks wonders, Moon was vulnerable and shed light on their struggles as a family to Taurus and in return not only did Taurus punish Nexus but also ask Lunar about his feelings. Taurus has learned that earthlings express most of themselves through emotions (and so has Nebula) while Gemini is still stuck in that "well I'm not an earthling so I don't have to show you outright I care" type beat and that's just NOT THE CASE. Taurus has learned and changed tactics, making sure to ask questions and let Lunar vent frustrations. I get Gemini literally being duality and bipolar but like god damn??!!! You say you care so much and then tell him change isn't enough if it's small???!!!!??

I love LOVE the way that LAES wrote out the Gemini twins, that's high praise from me based on the many posts where I shit on them but with every hater there's secretly a fan so hear me out.

When we were first introduced to them Castor was an ASSHOLE and Pollux was the overly energetic sweetheart that just pulls at people's heartstrings.

Well based on EVERYTHING THE SHOWS HAVE TAUGHT US (if you're actually paying attention) it's to never judge books by their covers.

By the end we see that POLLUX is the real asshole, she thinks that people should just UNDERSTAND HER and that it's dumb and people are annoying or a waste of their time when they aren't immediately understood.

Castor by the end is gentle, soft spoken, and knows to treat people with genuine kindness and sincerity. He holds the people he appreciates so close to his heart that even when they hurt him all he wants is to run back to them and try to see their point of view.

Castor is still strict and Pollux is still bubbly but there was a lot more going on under the surface, have you guys ever noticed how CASTOR was always the one talking seriously to Lunar? Pollux was following along and occasionally adding in hurtful remarks (talking star trials and that nonsense) Castor was ALWAYS the one to make sure that even though Lunar was in trouble or needed to be talked to he knew he was appreciated and cared for, that even though they'd say hurtful things they just wanted him to confront his actions and deal with them appropriately. Pollux just yells and throws in childish quips, which is ironic since her whole thing back during the star trials was to constantly point out how childish Lunar was being (she's a hypocrite) despite most of her arguments coming off as playground marriage arguments.

In any mythology Greek, Roman, etc Gemini is duality. We're never told which is which though, it's why whenever someone brings up Zodiac signs Gemini is an insult to people. Duality can be both good and bad, it's exactly what it is. However duality isn't black and white, it's a spectrum that can change at any moment. We see the way duality shifts and shows itself in the Gemini twins frequently, with mood swings, temperament, and overall how people unravel themselves. Together they are uncaring and do not perceive things as positive or negative without the others input, however apart they're kind and rude, gentle and aggressive.

Gemini is only one when they agree, when they are at peace. Castor loves Lunar, he has and will. It broke his heart to see Lunar as a threat. Pollux saw Lunar as a fun toy to play with until it got old, then she got bored of it and found it's attempts to get her attention annoying. She didn't and doesn't love Lunar, she loved the attention he was giving her, only throwing a fit when the attention was given to someone else.

This, this is duality. It's what the shows were trying to express, however with limited resources it's hard to convey everything in the story. They're recording this with the knowledge they have on how to best convey it without outright saying it and it's so amazing what they're able to do.

- She was created on September 29th, 2023

- If Zef, FantomenK and/or Kubbi are used for groups I'm fucked

- Ae often has anger outbursts because Redd (I want him dead.) never taught aer anything at all throughout his '''custody''' of aer. And so she was never taught how to healthily manage her anger

- Most, if not all, of her nicknames consist of just, bugs. Moth. Firefly. Bee. Wasp and Hornet are used a lot by the other Heroes (in an endearing way ofc). Beetle is by far everyones (especially Bug's) #1 fav tho (they secretly named her journal "Beetle" but they wont ever admit it)

- Bug got nervous at just the idea of maturing and ae straight-up screamed when they got the first piece for aer

- She is VERY much an avid birdwatcher. They will talk to HOURS about it to Hexalace (Hexalace is TERRIFIED of birds BUT she tries her best to listen anyway)

- Before they ended up apologizing to Gold for being a bitch they started going out of their way to do little things for him- very simple things like finding (or, 'finding', with heavy quotations in some instances.) (She stole a lot of it) something ae heard that he was looking for and leaving it in his windowsill during the night. (Said example scared the shit out of Gold and he was so on edge throughout that whole timeframe)

- They tend to the other Heroes' rambles about their interests a lot and thats how they got into most of their own (ae tinkers with a bit of technology thanks to Gold, in fact. Shut up I'm inserting my headcanons here /silly/lh)

- She eats uncooked spaghetti noodles and LOVES cheese

- Before Hexalace became aer new caretaker ae was bouncing back and forth between staying with the other caretakers (Pentellow and Iris & Cube mostly, VERY rarely Pyrare, only in extreme emergencies because they all learned that Bug did NOT manage very well being in a room with Pyrare (and/or Gold for that matter, as this was VERY pre-apology)

- She's went to a funeral once and made a really bad joke that 'why is everyone wearing grayscale, I thought that was my thing' (they were immediately removed from said funeral, ae didn't really understand why until way later)

- She spells Hexalace's name as 'Hezalace' and REFUSES to spell it any other way, even if someone tries teaching them that it's not a 'Z' it's an 'X'. Hexalace doesn't mind though she knows ae'll grow out of that one

- For some reason, she and Gold ‘share a braincell’ (not literally) very often. Sometimes they'll have very similar reactions as each other to certain things, if not the exact same reaction

- When I say ‘she used to be a major bitch to Gold’, I MEAN IT. Things like “Pyrare only loves you because you succeeded” was thrown at him- they were doing everything they could to try and hurt him. They completely and fully regret the things they said now, though

- [META] Design-wise, her cape used to have a lighter gradient to it- but I removed it because it was barely noticeable

- Ae’s cape in aer Final Stage was only partially the Trees’ decision. Cyan and Tsavorite were the ones who communicated with the Trees to try and convince them to give Bug a cape due to capes commonly being associated with heroes

- She’s a dog person

- When they were first assigned Hexalace as a new caretaker, they were very skittish around her, even going so far as to discreetly slip out of the room whenever Hexalace walked in before she could notice her

- After warming up to Hexalace, she had a bit of an attachment issue to her at first; at one point Hexalace had to leave Bug alone for about 15 minutes to do something urgent, only to come home to a sobbing Bug who thought she'd left her. They've gotten a lot better with that attachment, but they are still working on it

- Her jacket is very stretchy (especially towards the bottom) so that it doesn't hinder her movement

- Sometimes when they wake up they believe for a few seconds that they’re still with Redd. But they quickly realize that they’re really with Hexalace now and the amount of relief they feel every time is immense

- Aer love language is physical touch like hugs and stuff. Ae’ll hold you for hours if you let her

- Most of the time Bug will drag Gold along for an adventure, yeah- but sometimes Gold will convince Bug to just stay put and play a board game. They alternate between one anothers' preferences. Sometimes they do fight over it but it’s fineee /silly

- She has NO idea boundaries exist at first

- Due to still not having the ability to reach the pitch required to speak Herospeak clearly (despite their connection being restored), when they speak Herospeak they have a heavy accent in it. They have to repeat themself a lot

- Back when Bug was still learning how to use aer newfound Hero abilities, Hexalace did try and teach aer how to fly herself. But of course, Hero abilities and actual wings are two completely different things so that didn’t go well, expectedly

- If I had to rate Bug’s mischieviouism on a scale of 1-10, I’d have to say “pick a card, any card! WAIT, THAT’S MY CREDIT CARD!”

- She has nightmares.

- They bounce back from injuries/illnesses pretty quickly. Sometimes they don’t though, and they assume they’re fine after a while and go do something and immediately get hit with Oh Fuck That Feels Bad

- On the topic of injury, ae tends to be overly dramatic when ae’s sick or hurt

- She’s broken into a few of the group members’ houses before by picking the locks because she wanted to hang out with them

The images and the grid are 192x108 pixels.

Which when multiplied by 10 gives 1920x1080 pixels for the original images, which is normally the resolution of a common screen. That's why I said you can use it as a wallpaper, it will fit perfectly.

By the way, I'd like to say that when I posted these images on Saturday I received about 6 notes and I thought "Ya, that's good enough, I'm going to play Stardew". 24 hours later, I went to see it again and had received MORE THAN A 1000 NOTES!!
