Maybe this is just because I'm fairly new to the Dungeon Meshi fandom but I haven't seen anyone point out how understanding Laios is when it comes to other people's boundaries/odd habits. When Marcille was controlling the familiar everyone was questioning what she was doing but Laios was just like "If that's what she's gotta do 😊"

Or when Shuro was yelling at him for making him uncomfortable Laios's reaction was "Why didn't you let me know?!" Instead of "How was I making you uncomfortable?!" He didn't get defensive about his behaviors or try to defend them. He got upset because Shuro didn't make it clear that what Laios was doing was making him uncomfortable.

Or how he didn't take the blindfold off in the sauna even though everyone knew he REALLY wanted to study Izutsumi. He knew taking the blindfold off would make the party uncomfortable so he kept it on.

These are just examples off the top of my head but it's fun to look at. Laios is super understanding with other people's habits and quirks because he KNOWS his quirks are odd but wouldn't want to be shamed for it so he doesn't shame anybody else. It's sweet, if you think about it. He just wants everyone to be comfortable in their own skin and doesn't want to suppress anyone's sparkle.
