Baby Taj Mahal

I am so glad that our tour guide recommended a stop at the Baby Taj Mahal. It is a truly splendid example of Mughal architecture and does not have the crowds that some of the other beautiful landmarks have. Baby Taj Mahal

If you have seen my Taj Mahal postings, this may look familiar to you, but it is not the Taj Mahal. This is a view of the entrance gate to the Baby Taj Mahal from the inside. The Baby Taj Mahal was build prior to the Taj Mahal and served as a model for the Taj. Like the Taj Mahal, the Baby Taj Mahal has an elaborate sandstone with marble and stone-inlay entrance gate. This is a beautiful example of Mughal Architecture.
