POV: you live in doctor who. You're on forums and in Discord servers and group chats, all of people interested in the Doctor.

(in the current era of the show, especially after Lucky Day, it's clear that in the modern day the Doctor is kind-of a known guy, but with very fragmentary knowledge about him that only a few piece together, and even fewer end up at the right conclusion. Also, all the UNIT and alien stuff being common knowledge too, with varying social takes on it)

The UNIT data leak hits, and everyone, including yourself, is fixated on using it for clues. And among a list of people, you see your own name, date of birth, your current address, details on your damn personality. No one in the groups luckily knows you by your actual name, and you're definitely not gonna dox yourself, so you just have to sit with that knowledge. That UNIT knows about you and that you're labelled as a "companion", whatever that means.

Ohhhhh I wasn’t expecting to tear up watching season one of Castlevania but oh my god seeing where it all started just hit me really hard and suddenly I’m 15 again.

I thought I’d be completely spoiled by the animation of Nocturne and going back would make the early season jank stick out, and to an extent that did happen but the action sequences still really hold up, especially Trevor vs Alucard (cunty Alucard come home the kids miss you).

Also, oh my god the atmosphere is so so perfect, the gothic horror of it all is so well conveyed with all the environments and lighting and colours, I especially love when the whole screen is awash with a deep rich red or cold blue, it gives everything a very fantastical quality (especially since the saturation of these colours went up once Trevor had his revelation and chose to fight for the people, you can see the world come alive alongside him)

I swear I’ll never run out of love for this series. I’m supposed to go to a party soon but I just want to watch the rest now 😭

i hope people know that an extended version of the lego monkie kid opening exists in cantonese :D it’s sung and written by swk’s VA dicky cheung (he voices him in the season 1 cantonese and taiwanese mandarin dubs and is his actor in the 1996 jttw show)

the cantonese dub of lmk is on lego’s youtube but there’s only 3 seasons and the taiwanese dub only has 1 season for some reason? there’s an extra rap at the start of both their openings but the lyrics are different! swk also has extra dialogue during his fight with the demon bull king where he makes tons of beef puns LMAO
