The small town of Falbrook was most known for its small and rather unwelcoming community. The people who resided there never left, nor did anyone new ever really move in. May Falbrook have mercy on the poor souls who actually try to move out. Nobody just left Falbrook. No, it wasn't that simple. Once in Falbrook, you could never leave, no matter how hard you tried.

The whispered rumours and stories of creatures beyond mere human comprehension were enough to keep people away. The residents, however, believed in them wholeheartedly. Windows were locked tight and covered completely before the sun went down, which only added to the dreary atmosphere. It was a must, a need, especially in a town like Falbrook.

Of course, if the small town was as bad as it was said to be, then why would you move there? The residents didn't know if they should pity you or hate you for your stupidity. There were warning signs scattered all across town, practically screaming at you to run and never look back. Could you not understand them? Or were you simply too dense to acknowledge them? Regardless, they only viewed you as yet another stupid victim of the town's many happenings.

You should be grateful that they were kind enough to give you what they called a "welcoming book." It was just as welcoming as they were, which was not very, but it held useful information if you actually decided to read it. But, of course, you didn't, did you? You set it to the side, making a mental note to "read it later," and it showed. Why else would you keep your lights on past six or keep your blinds open after the sun went down?

Your idiocy didn't go unnoticed either. The very creatures the book would have warned you about gravitated to you like a moth to a flame. It was like you were screaming at them to come to you and come to you, they would.

Welcome to our small town of Falbrook. Before you get settled in, there are a couple rules that you must know and follow :
