"You've been staring at that dress for a while now, mister." The young boy pipes up, after curiously watching the man stare at a boutique's display for... Well, a while. Oz doesn't have a watch on him or anything, so he can't say exactly how long. But definitely a while.

"You gonna buy it or what?" He pauses, squinting up at the older man. "You could use some splash of color in your wardrobe..."

Kronya seems to find this guy bit troubled. She doesn't care what he's thinking but seems murmuring with a name 'Monica' or something. Ironically, her transformation was named Monica too.

Perhaps...

"Who is this Monica you're mumbling about? Your dead wife? I can take you to her, just let me end you!"

Oz merely raises a skeptical eyebrow at him. The man looked and acted so much older than 25.

"I think convenience store is the term used these days. Whether there's much of a difference I have no clue, I've never really spent much time in a city before coming here."

"But, yes! Plenty of tomatoes to come around. Come on then, should be this way."

"Do I? I am but a young...25."

Well with how much stress lines Orson has, many people can actually think different on how old he is. After all when one love one di-

"Is it truly so near? And...a convenience store? You mean a general store? They sell tomatoes in huge bulk? How nice."

The cursive wasn't a problem. Oz was raised as the heir to a Dukedom, after all.

That's a lot of tomatoes. Well, at least the list was simple.

"Good news! All of that can be found at the nearest convenience store. I'm pretty sure, anyways. Those are all common ingredients. A lot of the same single ingredient, but that shouldn't matter. Come on, follow me. It shouldn't be too far from here... Well, maybe it's far for you, you look kinda old."

"Hmmm."

There was a piece of paper with graceful looking writing on it, all in cursive which might be a problem. It was a lot of tomato based items in it, well its just mostly tomatos and pasta. It seems that that was all in the list.

And bread.

Oh, well. The offer was made. He still doesn't get what the big deal is, but whatever. People were so strange sometimes.

"The market? Course I know where the market is. There's several all over the city, actually. Depends on which kind of food you're thinking of making, really... you got an ingredient list handy? Maybe I can help you find at least some of the things!"

"No no." He refuses gently, his voice is very quite and insistent on this part. After all what was the point if he knew in the back of his mind, that this fortune was not his own? Besides, he wants to make Monica happy on his own. No other interference...

"But thank you for the offer." he utterly ignores the hundred year old comment, compared to what he seen, one hundred year old people who look younger than him is not that unusual. or rather he's too focused on his wife to care.

"I don't suppose you know, where the market is. I was thinking of making my wife favorite, but I do not know where it is."

"Ohhh... for your lady back home huh?" Oz blinks owlishly, looking between the man and the display.

"How about I help you buy it, mister?" It's just a little bit of money. He's seen and worn much more pricey clothing. It's not like he's really been using his allowance, anyways.

"Ah...have I..."

To anyone else, their would be shame. After all he is a knight, but also he is a dutiful husband that only thinks of their wife first and fore most. And theres nothing wrong with that.

"I was simply thinking of buying it for my wife, but its ...very expensive."

Oz... Kinda gets it. The desire to do everything for a single person. But the Black Rabbit's relationship to Alice is not exactly comparable to a pair of spouses.

The money part, not so much. Especially since everyone gets an allowance just for existing here, but hey. Who is he to argue with some stranger?

"I mean, technically, I'm over a hundred years old. It really wouldn't hurt my coffers to help you buy that dress. Which is a price I consider somewhat cheap, so. But fair enough, I suppose. I was thinking of buying my friend and I matching outfits for whenever she shows up here. I think she'd get a kick out of it."

He's going to insist the offer just a bit more anyways, then relent.

Alive huh? Man's in denial but she doesn't know until mystery is resolved. She decided not to end him, for now. Just curious about this Monica he's murmuring about, which is the reason why she confronted the sad lonely man.

"Sure, let's say that she's alive... but is she even here in this place?" Folded arms, she wondered.

"My wife who is alive."

Which is , judging by his appearance not exactly assuring. Sure he can kill her too if she gets in the way of his Monica. But she is harmless for now, as Orson knows that his wife is alive and waiting in their shared home. Much bigger than the castle rooms now...

"I was simply thinking of her, after all its been a long day and I long to return to her loving embrace..."
