Ever since Makoto found out about the Kamukura project, he was fascinated. To wipe somebody's personality away completely for the sake of acquiring as much talent as possible? Something so diabolical for the sake of creating the Ultimate Hope? How could he resist getting involved? This was a goldmine just waiting to be blown to bits!

It took quite a bit of planning and dirty work, given what was required to fool the retinal scanners, but nothing was too much to ask for if it meant an encounter with the mysterious test subject - someone who could ultimately became a very, very useful pawn in his game. Maybe even more than that...

"Izuru Kamukura!" He announced as the door to that dark, bare room opened, hazel eyes fixed on the man before him as he handed the eyeball he'd used to get in back to Komaru, who kept watch at the door. "You're the one they refer to as the Ultimate Hope, aren't you? The Academy's lab-rat-turned-magnum-opus? It's nice to meet you! I'm Makoto Naegi. I have quite the proposition for you!"

The man's blank stare did nothing to deter him as he stepped closer, a confident grin on his face despite quite honestly having no idea what to expect. "It's a waste to be locked away in here, isn't it? And what else could the Academy possibly offer you at this point? It must be so boring- Well, lucky for you, I've got the perfect solution!"

"All this hope and talent bullshit... It's all so meaningless. Come with me, and we'll create a world where you can do whatever you please - a world where you'll never be subject to authority or boredom ever again!"

"I'm...?" He blinked, a little confused as to what she wanted to say - unfortunately, he had no guesses as to what that could be - as far as he was aware, they had never met before. "...Oh, I understand," He nods his head, willing to leave it at that. "Currently, yes I am." He admits, the answer coming to him with complete innocence and sincerity.

Shizuka glanced up from the book she was reading, having noticed Fine slink into the room. "Take it that your little plan didn't go well," she mused as she snapped the book shut.

"Has it ever occurred to you that you could just . . . go to a different world? And feign being on a heroic mission so no one bothers ya?"

It's what she would have done. Then again, the Fine before her . . . wasn't the smartest crayon in the cookie box.

Tokyo held an event within one of it’s largest mall. It was a rather grand Final Fantasy convention to celebrate the MMO king that kept the brand name stronger than ever. Within the vicinity there were so many things people could buy from Warrior of Light plushes to little Ixion figurines. Of course this wouldn’t be a convention without the common cosplayer within the vicinity. Clouds, Zidanes, Hyur warriors, Chocobo onesies among the large selection of characters were seen strolling around. Among them was the young man Yusuke Urameshi.

He wasn’t THAT big on Final fantasy considering the franchise was an easy ‘hell no’ when the first game to him lacked any proper guidace on what to do next but he has been paying attetion to their little journey into the fighting Genre with Dissidia and there’s where he came to..well ‘like’ the game. What he was looking for was something, ANYTHING when it came to merchandise featuring his favorite: Jecht. Though whilst walking through the crowd he almost bumped into an Ignis cosplayer but he was quick with his reflexes. “My bad, should have been payin’ attention. Huh..didn’t know Men in Black was a cosplay choice here.”

It sucked.

It royally sucked to be the one hunted rather than the hunter, a fugitive from those he used to work alongside. He never thought things would turn out that way.

Rarely did life go the way it was planned. Would be boring if that was the way of things, any how. No one would find a complaint with having a break once in a while, though!

Still, he was taking care of someone else [along with himself], it made rooting for necessities all the more complicated. If he could just hunt uninterrupted, no problem. But there was the issue of having to keep one eye out at all times, waiting for the inevitability of the unexpected.

He knew better than most, it wasn't a matter of if he would be caught, it was when. When that time came, would he be ready for it?

As ready as he thought he'd be, there were still surprises that lay in wait for him.

Namely the unexpected presence of a little girl---! Ummm, honestly, the unexpected presence of a little girl, where there shouldn't have been a little girl.

"What are you doing out here?" Zack whispered, like raising his voice an octave or two louder would send alert beacons to all the parties hunting him down. "Did you get turned around?"

She'd been on her way to sit outside for lunch when another voice called out to her. Haruka looked over, inclining her head to the left a little before noticing the book.

Most people here at Shujin didn't know sign, though, so Haruka pulled out her phone and typed on it before showing the screen to the boy who had approached her.

Thank you so much! I didn't realize I dropped it. She took it, bowing slightly before erasing the last message and typing another. I haven't seen you before, though. Are you new here at Shujin?

At first, the brunet couldn't make out what she was doing with her phone until she revealed the message to him. This was quite something he didn't expect, her conversing him by messages. Was she a mute perhaps?

But that was besides the point.

"No problem, I'm glad I could help." He expressed with a smile before he was shown the next message. "Ah, yes, I'm just transferred in here. Oh, my name is Leon. Leon Reywell."

(    🐇   )              COME TO THINK of it, she never met yda ( the one that wasn't lyse ) personally, deciding that now with much time on her hands that she should probably seek her out. she was in the area after all, thanks to the whispers of the wind that she had HELD HER EAR to.
