I find it so funny how Rhysand essentially became an advisor & bed warmer to Amarantha for 50yrs but achieved NOTHING. Not a single god damn thing. No info on how to break the curse without someone dying, no allies, no secrets that he could use to blackmail her, literally nothing but this same male turns around & said Tamlin did nothing for 50yrs & sat on his ass…

This same Tamlin??…

In those 50yrs the only thing Rhysand achieved was countless bodies & more enemies, he murdered people from his own court, actively went after the Illyrians who sided with Amarantha even though they were doing exactly what he did.

It’s even funnier when you remember the fact that Velaris has been shielded for 5000 years, you can only leave or enter Velaris with the high lords say so, then on top of that Rhysand personally went round wiping the minds of everyone outside of Velaris who would know about the city of starlight, THEN…on top of that Rhysand added an additional shield with the last of his full power before Amarantha took it too permanently seal everyone in, this is the same male that claims his found family is oh so powerful, not to mention Amren single-handedly could wipe Amarantha from the face of existence when she still had her otherworldly form…

It’s even funnier when you remember that Tamlin had warned all of the high lords prior to them all going UTM not to go because she did not have good intentions, the male that would unfortunately know Amarantha the most & best told warned all of them about going…

I recently was so lucky as to get a limited snow pikachu plushie at a local con! I LOVEEE LOVE them so so much that I made it into an oc!!

This oc is named Topaz and goes by any pronouns 💙

It is literally made out of ice magic and snow, loves coconut and cinnamoroll and simply wishes to be loved <3

A little story: My love for fatties started with chubby girls. I still remember how when I was 8 I tried to find a video with a chubby cute girl, but as soon as I found such videos, I realized one thing: all fatties are charming and beautiful. My first favorite video was where a girl eats pizza, I still remember how big she was!) So I want to congratulate all the beautiful fatties! You are the best!!! Love yourself! I've said this before, but all these posts like "straight men are radicalizing, maybe we need to be nicer to the straight men" are failing to grapple with the fact that you can't be "nicer" to someone than a supremacy movement geared toward them.

In a "who makes me feel good?" contest, it's not actually possible to beat a movement that says The Entire World Rightfully Belongs To You And Everyone Else Exists To Serve You. That message is unbeatable, at least as long as it sounds plausibly true or achievable.

If you want to defeat that movement, you can't just try to win its subjects over by being nicer to them. You'll hollow yourself out and betray yourself ideologically by trying to cater to them and you'll still lose because the supremacy movement is still doing it better than you ever could.

You win against a supremacy movement by attacking the plausibility of it. If you move the goal of "a world where everything is bent to my will" far enough out of reach, fewer and fewer straight men (or white people, or Christians, or whatever group you're trying to reach) will choose to burn every relationship in their life to try to achieve it.

Your allies in doing that are everyone else. But not if you throw them under the bus trying to win over the one group of people who will always be getting a better offer.

As in Henry got to meet spring Bonnie & Fredbear (and the other animatronics)

when he 'got' there in the AU. William despite appearing at the same time as everyone else, was unfortunately out cold and really only woke up after everyone decided to lock him in the basement of the afton's house (which I'll show the layout later) and also unfortunately means he missed out on Ralphs little "oh yeah, you might go through some changes the longer you're here! 💙 so if you start experiencing some discomfort or noticing weird stuff starting to happen don't worry that's normal I went through that too!"

I'll make sure to draw pictures of him starting to realize something is very wrong and is slowly starting to freak out later.

Also this picture is not finished and it's going to remain that way because I didn't feel like doing a background (asked my brother to see if he could do it and he said yes but he kept delaying before saying he couldn't do it...)

pick a book for me to take on work travel

Ends of the World by Peter Brannen - nonfiction geology book about earth's previous mass extinction events. The author is also the writer of one of my favorite climate history Atlantic articles I read for a college assignments.

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer - nonfiction true story of Chris Mccandless, who decided to leave society to live in the Alaskan wilderness and was later found dead. I want to read Into Thin Air too but I don't have a copy (my mom probably does but that won't help me for this trip)

Dune by Frank Herbert - do i have to describe what Dune is about at this point? I've never read it and I also refused to see the movies 'caues I wanted to read the book before doing so

A Song for the River by Philip Connors - nonfiction/memoir by the same author who wrote my beloved fire lookout book Fire Season. This book also has to do that, as well as a massive fire he witnessed in his national forest, but I think it's a lot more about grief and death.

What the Eyes Don't See by Mona Hanna-Attisha - nonfiction/memoir by one of the doctors who discovered the Flint water crisis. I'm actually already 90 pages into it but got distracted and haven't picked it up for like a year. It's very good and highly relevant to my work (though I don't do lead in tap water but you know it's great information to have)
