Fatal Fury 2 - MD vs SN

These last few years I realized that I really enjoy playing grapplers; Zangief in Street Fighter 6, King in Tekken 8 and now Tizoc in City of the Wolves - I have a lot of fun with their play styles and I am also good with them but... I have zero interest in wrestling and grapplers are usually big, slow and ugly and I only like playing with cunty women and pretty boys... The closest I can get to bridging the gap is Nina in Tekken with her combo holds and Tina in DOA being an actual grappler and serving cunt. That's my first world problem of the day

Advanced Variable Geo 2
The first Advanced V.G. game is a very mediocre take on Street Fighter II formula, with some Fatal Fury thrown in for good measure. Of course, it’s understandable that it’s very hard to exceed the industry veterans in their field, especially when your prior experience was mainly adult games for Japanese PCs. TGL surely learned their lesson and focused their effort on the sequel, Advanced Variable Geo 2, released in 1998 exclusively for the Sony PlayStation. But is this one still another run of the mill fighter featuring a cast of pretty gals, or maybe there’s more than meets the eye?

vice queen II
Chapter 25: Aftermath
It was well past lunch—closer to four, with the Miami sun starting to dip lower, casting gold and rose across the windows of the safe house—when the security system gave a sharp ping and the soft hiss of the front door unlocking echoed into the quiet.
Zilla was on his feet before the door fully opened. He hadn’t sat still once.
Maya was in the upstairs loft watching cartoons with headphones on, but he’d been pacing the living room, dread coiled so tight in his chest it ached. The moment he saw movement in the doorway, that dread dropped like a rock into his gut.
Courtney stepped in.
But not the way she’d left.
Her stride was uneven—limping, like something in her right side had taken real damage. She didn’t say a word. No greeting. No cocky remark. No sly “told you I’d be back.”
She didn’t even look at him.
Just walked past with her jaw locked, hand clutched over her hip like she was physically holding herself together. Blood stained the side of her neck, dried in messy streaks where it had clearly once poured down her face from a cut at her temple.
Zilla’s stomach turned.
Her bulletproof vest looked like it had taken the worst of it. Cracks spiderwebbed across the armored plates, and the fabric was torn and smudged with dust, blood, and grime. Her leggings were slashed at the side, her boots scuffed and one of them limping with a busted heel.
She moved straight to the hallway bathroom.
Zilla followed, slow, cautious—like approaching something sacred and dangerous all at once.
The bathroom door was half-open, and he saw her then—standing in the soft overhead light, struggling to peel her vest off. Her sports bra underneath was damp with sweat, her skin blotchy and red where the vest had slammed into her. She gritted her teeth, finally yanking it free with a hiss, and he caught a glimpse of the deep plum bruising blooming across her ribcage and stomach.
Her fingers trembled as she leaned against the counter, trying to stay upright.
Then she slid out of her boots, one at a time, toes curling on the cool tile. Her balance wavered, and for a split second she nearly dropped—but caught herself on the edge of the sink, both palms flat and white-knuckled.
Bare, vulnerable. But still holding on.
Zilla stepped into the doorway.
“Court,” he said, low and rough.
She flinched—just slightly—and her eyes flicked up to the mirror.
Their gazes locked in the reflection.
And for the first time, he saw her truly wrecked.
Not broken. No. Courtney Bishop didn’t break.
But wrecked.
Worn. Bruised. Bleeding. And still standing.
She didn’t try to talk.
Didn’t give him a half-assed lie.
She just blinked, slow, and let out a shaky breath.
Zilla stepped forward, silent. No questions. No anger. No lectures. Just hands—one reaching out, barely touching her lower back, fingers spread gentle over the bruise blooming there. The other brushed her wrist, soft as a secret.
“You don’t gotta hold yourself up alone,” he said quietly. “Not here.”
Courtney let out a soft breath. And for the first time since she walked in, her shoulders dipped. Just a fraction.
But it was enough to say she heard him.
And maybe—just maybe—she’d let herself lean on someone too.
Chapter 26: Six Reasons
He hadn’t noticed it right away—not with the way she limped in, blood crusted on her face and fire barely dimmed in her eyes. But when he followed her down the hallway and caught the full view of her vest discarded on the edge of the sink, something in his chest turned to stone.
Six rounds.
Six damn bullets lodged in the vest’s front and side.
Dead-center.
Tight grouping.
Each one could’ve been fatal without the plate.
Each one meant for him.
Or worse—for Maya.
His hand hovered over the vest, eyes tracking the punctures. His mind went blank for a second, just cold fury and the sick, searing ache of what if.
He turned slowly, just as she weakly turned too. Courtney was trying to keep that same fire she always wore like lip gloss, but it was slipping.
Her eyes looked like she hadn’t slept in days.
Dark circles beneath them, skin paler than usual under the bruises. She tried to straighten up, tried to square her shoulders and act like she wasn’t carrying the weight of a whole damn cartel war, but her legs gave a little beneath her.
And just like that, she folded.
Zilla caught her before she hit the ground—fast reflexes snapping into action, arms catching around her waist as she tumbled right into his chest.
Courtney let out a broken sound—more a breath than a word—and clutched his shirt without even thinking, fingers digging in. Her body trembled in his arms. Not dramatic. Not like a damsel. Just... spent.
Every inch of her was soaked in exhaustion. Her pulse beat fast against his forearm where he held her up, and her breathing hitched with every movement.
“You didn’t sleep,” Zilla muttered, his voice low like thunder still rolling in the distance.
She shook her head weakly against his chest. “Couldn’t. Not till I knew y’all were good.”
His jaw locked.
This woman—who didn’t owe him a damn thing—had taken six bullets meant for him, driven herself to the edge, protected his daughter, and pulled data logs until her brain was fried just to make sure he could keep breathing.
And the worst part? She hadn’t even planned to tell him.
She would've taken all that pain in silence.
Zilla pulled her closer without a second thought, arms firm around her waist, one hand splayed against her bare back where the bruising stopped. “You didn’t have to—”
“Yes, I did,” she murmured.
Her voice was tired but sure.
“You wouldn’t have. You would’ve done the same for Maya. For me. Don’t lie.”
He couldn’t argue with that.
So he didn’t.
Instead, he eased her down into his arms, lifting her like she weighed nothing, and carried her out of the bathroom. Maya was still napping, soft little snores from upstairs, blissfully unaware of how close danger had crept to their door.
Zilla brought Courtney to the bedroom she’d been using, easing her down on the edge of the bed. She tried to argue, to sit up again like she could just power through, but he pressed two fingers to her shoulder gently.
“Nah,” he said. “Not today.”
Her lips twitched, the ghost of a smile trying to appear. “Knew you were soft under all that mean mug.”
Zilla didn’t smile.
But his hand lingered at her jaw, thumb brushing along her cheek with a gentleness that felt foreign even to him.
“You really think I’m ever lettin’ you walk into something alone again?”
Her eyes fluttered. “Might’ve already planned for that possibility.”
“Courtney.”
She blinked, finally meeting his gaze with that same stubborn fire dimmed to an ember. “Yeah?”
“You mine now.”
It wasn’t a question.
Not a proposal. Not even a demand.
Just a quiet fact.
She didn’t argue.
Didn’t joke.
Didn’t deflect.
She just reached for his hand and held it tight like it was the only thing grounding her.
And maybe it was.
Chapter 27: All the Things He Didn't Say
She was knocked clean out.
Courtney lay spread across the bed, out cold in nothing but a soft cropped tank and clean black panties, one leg flung over the sheets, arms out like a starfish. There was glitter on her collarbone—faint, like a remnant of whatever chaos she’d left behind earlier—and a darkening bruise blooming across her hip. The bandage on her side was fresh, probably self-applied, because she hadn’t let him help her with it. Hadn’t even opened her eyes when he tried.
Just passed the fuck out.
Like her body had finally given up on waiting for her to take a breath.
Zilla stood at the edge of the bed with his arms crossed and his jaw clenched so hard his temple twitched. He hadn’t sat down. Couldn’t. Not yet. The guilt in his chest made it hard to breathe, let alone move.
Because damn… this woman.
All of her.
He remembered the first time he met her—Courtney, introduced by Camille, all glitter gloss and chaos energy in six-inch heels, who didn’t hesitate to drop herself right into his lap like she knew him, like she belonged there. Not a flinch. Not even a blink when Camille said his daughter’s mother was an addict, when others usually got awkward or overly sympathetic or tried to dance around it.
Courtney? She’d just shared some wild-ass story from her old county job about walking in on a suburban meth party with a glittery taser and walked off like it was nothing.
From day one, she had been loud and ridiculous and warm.
Bright. Disarming.
Every time she saw him? “What’s up, baby daddy?” Big-ass smile, like he wasn’t out here being cold as hell, saying barely two words back. She didn’t care that he didn’t give her warmth in return—she gave it anyway. Kept giving it. Kept waving, kept pulling Maya close like the kid was hers by default. And Maya loved her for it.
He… hadn’t known what to do with it.
So he stayed quiet. Stayed distant. Stayed Zilla—the same gruff, guarded motherfucker he always was. The enforcer. The storm.
And now that woman was lying in her bed, half-dressed and unconscious, because she took six bullets meant for him.Because she saw a pattern in data no one else did, because she cared. Without being asked. Without being told.
And what had he given her?
A nod. A grunt. A fucking cold shoulder most days.
She didn’t owe him shit.
Not one thing.
But she kept showing up. For Maya. For him. She had this scary, infuriating habit of laughing in the face of his silence and treating his daughter like she was made of stardust and royalty.
He ran a hand down his face, pacing once, then back, finally forcing himself to sit in the chair next to the bed. Elbows on knees, hands clasped in front of him, eyes locked on the slight rise and fall of her chest.
She was still breathing.
Barely.
Exhausted beyond what was safe. Bruised and busted, with a faint cut on her temple, lips dry and parted like she’d muttered something in her sleep.
Zilla sat there, silent, as the weight of it crushed him:
She didn’t just walk into the line of fire—she ran.
And she did it for him.
The realization didn’t come like thunder. It came like the slow roll of a tide—steady, heavy, inevitable.
He’d been trying to keep distance because it felt safer. Simpler.
But he wasn’t stupid.
This woman? Courtney Bishop?
She wasn’t just some loud-mouthed tech genius in heels.
She had a heart like a steel vault, a mind like a damn weapon, and the nerve to stare down cartel politics with a lollipop in her mouth and a pink Glock in her purse.
And now she’d damn near bled for him.
And he couldn’t even remember the last time he told her thank you.
Or anything real at all.
Zilla leaned back, resting his head against the wall, arms crossed again but looser this time. His eyes never left her. He didn’t move, didn’t sleep. Just sat in the quiet, watching the most chaotic woman he’d ever met sleep like the dead in the bed—still managing to look like a problem and a miracle all at once.
“Mine now,” he had said once.
Now?
Now he was scared she didn’t believe it.
Chapter 28: “She’s Mine Now.”
The room was still dim, only a soft glow coming from the cracked door where the hallway light peeked through. Courtney hadn’t stirred—not once.
Her breathing was shallow but steady, mouth slightly parted, the cut at her temple still angry and red against her skin. Her body was dead weight on the bed, and she hadn't even twitched when the soft pat-pat-pat of socked feet came padding into the room.
Zilla didn’t move at first. He was leaned back in the same chair, arms crossed, jaw still tight. He hadn’t left that spot since he laid her there.
Then he saw Maya—his daughter, wild curls all over the place, dragging her unicorn blanket behind her. Her eyes were wide, sleep still heavy on her little face, but her mouth was set in a frown.
And she didn’t say a word when she reached the bed.
She just crawled in.
Slow and gentle, the way only kids do when they really care about someone. Her tiny hands touched Courtney’s bare arm, and then she curled right into her side, cuddling up like this was the most natural thing in the world. Like she’d done it a million times before.
Zilla sat forward, starting to say something—but stopped.
Because then Maya looked at him.
Big, watery eyes full of something too raw for her age. Her voice came out small, but firm. Wobbly, but real.
“Coco needs to be okay, Daddy.”
“She’s mine now.”
He blinked, breath hitching.
She tucked the blanket tighter over Courtney’s hip and gently patted her arm like she was trying to soothe her, just like Courtney did when Maya cried.
“She doesn’t get mad at me,” she said softly, eyes never leaving Courtney’s sleeping face.
“She doesn’t leave me behind… even when I’m loud or when I say bad words.”
Zilla felt something split open in his chest.
Maya sniffled and wiped her nose with the back of her hand.
“She dresses up with me and feeds me snacks and tells me I’m cute, even when I got jelly on my shirt.”
“Don’t be mean to her anymore, Daddy,” she whispered. “I like her.”
Her little voice cracked on the last part, and Zilla… Zilla didn’t even know what to say.
How could he? This was his daughter—his whole world—saying what he’d been too stubborn, too scared, too locked up to admit out loud.
He’d kept Courtney at arm’s length. Because he didn’t want Maya getting attached. Didn’t want confusion. Didn’t want to risk anybody walking out on her the way others had.
But she had gotten attached.
She’d chosen her.
She’d decided—without hesitation—that Courtney was hers.
And after everything Courtney had done… Zilla didn’t even blame her.
He swallowed hard, leaning forward to brush a curl off Maya’s forehead.
“I’ll stop,” he said, voice hoarse, low.
“I won’t be mean to her anymore.”
He paused. Looked at Courtney—at the bruises and the faint scar on her temple. The way she hadn’t flinched when danger came, the way she’d thrown herself into the fire with no questions asked.
“She’s yours now, huh?” he added, a weak smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
Maya nodded fiercely and cuddled in tighter, like she could protect Courtney just by holding her close.
“She’s ours,” she whispered.
And Zilla—Zilla didn’t argue.
Not this time.
Because deep down, he knew it was true.
Chapter 29: “Coco Puff Came to See Me?”
Courtney groaned, the low rasp of it echoing off the bedroom walls like a storm trying to roll through her chest.
“Fuck…” she hissed, eyes still shut, hand flying to her temple like it could hold her skull together. “My head and my body hurt…”
She rolled a bit, instantly regretting the motion when her ribs flared up in protest, her legs weak, everything sore like she’d gotten run over, reversed on, and then stomped for good measure.
“This worse than that time in county lock up when them girls jumped me for protecting that younger girl,” she grumbled.
The words came out cracked and half-whispered, just loud enough to draw a slight shift from the bed.
She winced again, eyes finally fluttering open—and froze.
Because tucked against her chest, sound asleep, was Maya. Little Miss Loud herself. Curled up tight in Courtney’s arms like she belonged there. Like she chose there.
Courtney blinked at the girl for half a second—and just like that, something in her changed. It was visible. Like a switch flipped.
Her face, tired and battered, still bruised from the mission, split into that bright-ass smile—the one that could light up a blackout.
“Coco Puff!” she gasped, grinning wide despite everything, “You beautiful baby girl! You came to see me?!”
Her voice was raspy, her limbs shaky, but she still pulled Maya gently up, lifting her in the air with the same flair she always had, her laugh just a little hoarse but still so her.
Maya giggled loud, waking from sleep with a bright grin, her little arms flailing and her curls bouncing. Courtney held her carefully, trembling a bit with the effort, but still beaming.
Then she brought her down into her arms, holding her tight, wincing as pain shot through her ribs—but not letting go.
Not even a little.
She kissed all over Maya’s face, dotting her cheeks and forehead and nose, whispering between each kiss:
“You my angel. You my perfect girl. Look at you—you really came to see Coco? That’s my ride or die right there.”
Maya giggled into her neck, hiding her face and giggling again as Courtney rubbed her little back with soft circles, still kissing her hair and letting her eyes close again.
Even in pain, even banged up, even on the brink—Courtney still loved loud. She still poured it out.
Zilla stood silently near the doorframe, arms crossed but no longer cold. He’d seen her bruised and battered, barely able to stand. Now he was watching her radiate sunshine for his daughter, acting like she hadn’t been shot at hours ago.
She hadn’t even known he was there.
But he knew, without question now, that she’d die for Maya.
Hell… she almost had.
And still, here she was—smiling like she won the lottery, because a six-year-old came to check on her.
His jaw tightened, throat thick.
This wasn’t just some fling. Some flavor of the week.
This woman had carved herself into their lives so naturally it didn’t even feel new anymore.
It just felt right.
Chapter 30: "Hey Baby Daddy"
The house was quiet—too quiet for Zilla’s comfort. But the kind of quiet that wasn’t empty. No, this one was warm. Lived-in. Like love had been layered into the walls overnight.
He stood outside the bedroom, just out of view, arms crossed tight over his chest, shoulder leaned into the doorframe. His body was still on high alert, wired from the night before. She hadn’t let him come. She’d locked him out of his own battlefield, had the audacity to protect him—and then limped her ass back in like it was just another Tuesday.
He should’ve been mad.
But then he heard her voice—muffled but unmistakable, soft and raspy, barely holding itself together, but still teasing, still kind.
“Where’s your daddy at, baby G?” Courtney whispered gently, and Zilla felt his chest pull tight. “Did he eat and sleep any? Did he look okay?”
Zilla’s jaw locked. That was the part that did him in. Again. That part. Even after almost dying—she was still checking for him.
Still worrying. Still holding space for a man who hadn’t done half of what she did. Still caring when all he ever gave her was distance.
Inside, Courtney was stretched out on the bed, Maya nestled beside her, cradling a juice box like it was state treasure. Courtney leaned in, gently brushing her fingers through the little girl’s curls.
“He needs to take care of himself, right? Can’t have him walking around here looking like a grumpy oatmeal cookie. That’s your favorite person, huh?”
Maya giggled, and Courtney kissed her forehead before turning slightly—eyes catching movement by the door.
That’s when she saw him.
And she didn’t hesitate.
That megawatt smile cracked across her face like sun through storm clouds. Like she wasn’t sore and bruised and stitched together with stubbornness.
She raised her hand and wiggled her fingers at him.
“Hey baby daddy!” she beamed. “Did you sleep? If not, come on. I got room.”
Zilla blinked.
She really said that like it wasn’t insane. Like she wasn’t the one who nearly died yesterday. Like he needed the rest more than she did. She shifted, patting the side of the bed casually, like it was just a Tuesday morning and not the aftermath of a near ambush.
He didn’t speak right away.
He didn’t know what the hell to say.
But then Maya piped up, her voice sweet and matter-of-fact:
“You should lay down, Daddy. Coco says your frown lines are getting worse.”
Courtney snorted.
Zilla just sighed, running a hand down his face as he stepped into the room and slowly shut the door behind him.
And without saying a word, he crossed the floor, pulled off his shirt, and dropped down on the bed beside them—arms heavy, body worn, but pulled into gravity by two girls who didn’t know the word quit.
Courtney slid her hand over his as he settled in.
“Room’s always open, Z. You don’t even gotta knock.”

"France, An Ode" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge
I
Ye Clouds! that far above me float and pause, Whose pathless march no mortal may control! Ye Ocean-Waves! that, wheresoe'er ye roll, Yield homage only to eternal laws! Ye Woods! that listen to the night-birds singing, Midway the smooth and perilous slope reclined. Save when your own imperious branches swinging, Have made a solemn music of the wind! Where, like a man beloved of God, Through glooms, which never woodman trod, How oft, pursuing fancies holy, My moonlight way o'er flowering weeds I wound, Inspired, beyond the guess of folly, By each rude shape and wild unconquerable sound! O ye loud Waves! and O ye Forests high! And O ye Clouds that far above me soared! Thou rising Sun! thou blue rejoicing Sky! Yea, every thing that is and will be free! Bear witness for me, wheresoe'er ye be, With what deep worship I have still adored The spirit of divinest Liberty.
II
When France in wrath her giant-limbs upreared, And with that oath, which smote air, earth, and sea, Stamped her strong foot and said she would be free, Bear witness for me, how I hoped and feared! With what a joy my lofty gratulation Unawed I sang, amid a slavish band: And when to whelm the disenchanted nation, Like fiends embattled by a wizard's wand, The Monarchs marched in evil day, And Britain joined the dire array; Though dear her shores and circling ocean, Though many friendships, many youthful loves Had swoln the patriot emotion And flung a magic light o'er all her hills and groves; Yet still my voice, unaltered, sang defeat To all that braved the tyrant-quelling lance, And shame too long delayed and vain retreat! For ne'er, O Liberty! with partial aim I dimmed thy light or damped thy holy flame; But blessed the paeans of delivered France, And hung my head and wept at Britain's name.
III
"And what," I said, "though Blasphemy's loud scream With that sweet music of deliverance strove! Though all the fierce and drunken passions wove A dance more wild than e'er was maniac's dream! Ye storms, that round the dawning East assembled, The Sun was rising, though ye hid his light!" And when, to soothe my soul, that hoped and trembled, The dissonance ceased, and all seemed calm and bright; When France her front deep-scarr'd and gory Concealed with clustering wreaths of glory; When, insupportably advancing, Her arm made mockery of the warrior's ramp; While timid looks of fury glancing, Domestic treason, crushed beneath her fatal stamp, Writhed like a wounded dragon in his gore; Then I reproached my fears that would not flee; "And soon," I said, "shall Wisdom teach her lore In the low huts of them that toil and groan! And, conquering by her happiness alone, Shall France compel the nations to be free, Till Love and Joy look round, and call the Earth their own."
IV
Forgive me, Freedom! O forgive those dreams! I hear thy voice, I hear thy loud lament, From bleak Helvetia's icy caverns sent— I hear thy groans upon her blood-stained streams! Heroes, that for your peaceful country perished, And ye that, fleeing, spot your mountain-snows With bleeding wounds; forgive me, that I cherished One thought that ever blessed your cruel foes! To scatter rage, and traitorous guilt, Where Peace her jealous home had built; A patriot-race to disinherit Of all that made their stormy wilds so dear; And with inexpiable spirit To taint the bloodless freedom of the mountaineer— O France, that mockest Heaven, adulterous, blind, And patriot only in pernicious toils! Are these thy boasts, Champion of human kind? To mix with Kings in the low lust of sway, Yell in the hunt, and share the murderous prey; To insult the shrine of Liberty with spoils From freemen torn; to tempt and to betray?
V
The Sensual and the Dark rebel in vain, Slaves by their own compulsion! In mad game They burst their manacles and wear the name Of Freedom, graven on a heavier chain! O Liberty! with profitless endeavour Have I pursued thee, many a weary hour; But thou nor swell'st the victor's strain, nor ever Didst breathe thy soul in forms of human power. Alike from all, howe'er they praise thee, (Nor prayer, nor boastful name delays thee) Alike from Priestcraft's harpy minions, And factious Blasphemy's obscener slaves, Thou speedest on thy subtle pinions, The guide of homeless winds, and playmate of the waves! And there I felt thee!—on that sea-cliff's verge, Whose pines, scarce travelled by the breeze above, Had made one murmur with the distant surge! Yes, while I stood and gazed, my temples bare, And shot my being through earth, sea, and air, Possessing all things with intensest love, O Liberty! my spirit felt thee there.

Chun-Li is stalking Ryu as he hangs out with this fighter names Andy. She soon notices another woman doing the same in Mai Shiranui who notices her doing the same thing. This leads to them fighting as Chun-Li thinks that she is after her man Ryu. But Mai quickly fixes that misunderstanding by making it clear that she is after HER man Andy. Mai makes sure that Chun-Li isn't doing that as well and when things are cleared.... they bond over this. It is like them ready to fight to the death didn't happen.
(Enemies To Friends)
Chun-Li and Mai Shiranui in middle of intense combat with murderous intent filling their every moves to prevent the other women of taking their men.
Chun-Li: Back off you stupid cow-whore! I will not let you have—
Mai: Die in a ditch you whore! I am not going to let you take—
Chun-Li/Mai: MY RYU/ANDY-KUN!
The moment they say the name of the object of their affection, the two beautiful and deeply well-endowed woman pause in their battle to death to look at each other in surpise to learn that they have two different person in mind rather than what they though.
Chun-Li/Mai: *Unison* You are not here for my Andy-Kun/Ryu? Of course not/Why would i be?
The two gorgeous stalker look each other...and then the took shook each other hands with a smile but deadly gaze as they give each other a firm warning not to get any idea on stalking after their men or else.

Lightning Dust (My Little Pony) "There are a lot of aspects of the Vast that I feel she covers. The sky and storms are obvious, but she also touches on the aspect of insignificance. She has a noted lack of care for others, disregarding safety procedures and politeness in the name of showboating. For example, in the episode 'Wonderbolts Academy', she cut off the other fliers in midair with a burst of wind that sent them all spinning out. She and Rainbow Dash performed a record time on the course, but when Rainbow expressed concern about the injuries sustained by the other fliers, Lightning Dust only responded with, "Hey, you snooze, you lose!"
Later in the episode, Lightning convinced Dash to show off by helping to create a tornado. The duo then lost control of the storm, sending it loose across the sky, and nearly causing all of Rainbow's friends to plummet to their deaths when it hit their hot-air balloon. After Rainbow and the other trainees saved the lives of the balloonists, Lightning Dust's sole response was to enthuse about how awesome the storm was and attempt to hoof-bump Rainbow, who responded with disgust and fury.
After Lightning was ejected from the Wonderbolts for her recklessness, she formed a rival stunt flying group, the Washouts, who perform far more dangerous stunts by cutting the safety measures. Their motto is 'Leap before you look." She briefly recruits Scootaloo, Rainbow's biggest fan and honorary sister, by enticing her with the ability to fly on a rocket-propelled scooter in a potentially fatal stunt. This feeds the Vast from numerous angles -- Scootaloo's rising anxiety about the deadly flying stunt, the audience's shock and horror at the show, and Rainbow Dash's fears both about Scootaloo's safety and her own feelings of insignificance after Scootaloo rejected her. Rainbow ultimately saves Scootaloo from the death-defying stunt, but Lightning learns nothing and is almost literally hoist by her own petard when she gets tangled in a rope and rocket-launched over the horizon, swearing that she will be Rainbow's rival for life.
TL;DR: Lightning Dust is an asshole adrenaline jockey who disdains anyone slower and more cautious than she is, has no regard for the safety and lives of others, and entices others to be just as 'awesome' as she is."
Rowan Chow (Camp Here & There) "Rowan is a counselor in Cabin Magpie Moth at Camp Here & There. He receives psychic forecasts of upcoming meteorological events. Rowan is fairly shy and always on edge due to his visions, often of doom and terror, from the sky."

THE TRAP! THE TRAP! THE TRAP! (he's going to get down on his OLD MAN KNEES and he's going to PRAY; the man with no faith is going to PRAY to his angel and he's going to apologize ON HIS KNEES)
"just stop being so stupid" cas is being a little bitch here and he's valid for doing it
amazing to me like rob benedict is like. four feet tall. and STILL somehow manages to be menacing.
this is exactly what you want to hear your ex-husband talk about when you're in the place where your romance took off: him talking about his ex-boyfriend and meeting up with him again. cas, you're RIGHT to be irritated. "my sense of direction is excellent; that's a different corpse" you can take the husbands out of... whatever. dean and cas are still husbands and they're still capable of bickering, even when they're divorced
i REFUSE to believe that benny is dead. that leviathan was just lying through his teeth. benny is definitely the king of purgatory; he was just hiding from dean and cas because he didn't want to be Purgatory Relationship Counselor Part II. he had enough of that nonsense the first time
this little slice of life in chuck's "future" is so cute--until it becomes less cute. eileen is going to make POPCORN for their movie night! cas is bringing them beers! they have a FAMILY!
this little therapy talk is painful but SO necessary. it's the first time that dean and cas are actually talking about their differences and what they're angry about. cas admitting that he carries his guilt over his past mistakes, and then cas calling dean out over being so angry that he wasn't able to listen to reason "i left but you didn't stop me" MY GOD! it's the thesis of the relationship. cas leaves but dean doesn't ask him to stay! dean doesn't want cas to leave but he's not willing to ask him to stay! both of them want cas to be there, but they're caught in this endless cycle of silence.
in chuck's "future", sam and dean have both lost the person that they love. dean's "ever since" is losing cas in the most horrific way possible--he had to bury him alive, knowing that cas was going to be tormented for the rest of time. and sam's response is anger and fury and dean's response is fatalism and depression. and i do have to wonder if it's because cas isn't GONE gone. he's fallen into depression but part of him still clings onto life so that he can be there for cas.
this PRAYER! dean frantically wandering around purgatory calling for cas! dean praying and saying his goodbye to cas, knowing that he failed him. jensen KILLS this scene! the unshed tears in his eyes, the little wobble in his voice... he gets down on his KNEES! dean finally acknowledging that he gets angry and lashes out when he's hurt and grieving. "OF COURSE i forgive you" like it was never in doubt. this is dean saying goodbye to cas because he thinks that cas is either dead or not going to make it back to the portal and he's CRYING!
and then we have the "future" scene immediately afterward that opens with dean sitting with his eyes closed, MUCH LIKE HE WAS WHEN HE WAS PRAYING. i don't think it's too much of a stretch to think that dean was praying to cas while he's trapped in the box. that dean is praying to him pretty much all the time while he's trapped. these vampire faces are STUPID. sorry but they're DUMB.
dean still waiting for cas and looking around desperately hoping! and then cas is just. chilling. curled up in a tree. AND THE HUG! THE HUG! cas' look of shock when dean hugs him! and dean's "you did it" feels like a balm. DEAN WAS GOING TO TELL CAS THAT HE LOVED HIM RIGHT HERE AND THIS IS THE HILL I WILL DIE UPON! otherwise, why would he still say that he needed to talk to cas? why would he look disappointed when cas tells him that he doesn't need to say it? cas knew that dean was going to tell him that he loved him and he KNEW that confession would set off the empty deal. this is the hill i will die on.
and we see dean and cas just quietly chilling in the kitchen, and we know that they're okay! that they're not absolutely reconciled but that they're at least on their way. they've come to an understanding with each other and they're acting as a unit again.
