Can I ask your top 7 favorite ships (can be canon or non canon) from any media? Why love them?

Hey anon!

For a good few years now I've not been obsessed with one ship or fandom like i used to be. What this means is that i read multifandomly and that many ships appeal to me, from jegulus to merthur to emralt to Prince Jing x Mei Chang Su to CaPri and so on.

I'm very fond of the ships i wrote for and obsessed about: drarry, pynch, solangelo.

The ships that currently give me the most feels are:

Wangxian

Hualian

Prongsfoot

Jerott x Francis

As to why i love them, well, i mostly like antagonistic pairings and enemies to lovers and a lot of the ships are great examples of that. I don't really know why i love some ships more than others; i suppose their dynamic in canon tickled a certain part of my brain. I also need to find both leads interesting and attractive in a way. If their interactions in canon are angsty, dark in some way, toxic even, questionable or full of repressed feelings--that's catnip for me. Lots to explore in a fic.

What can I say? I love these two! When I was younger, I always liked them together, but now that I'm older, I love them even more. Their dynamic reminds me of Percabeth from the PJO books, with a bit of Star Trek McCoy/Spock thrown in.
