This is Karakenku, A tengu-based robot built to serve a shrine, he excels in speed, elegance, and a balance so keen he could stand on a single thread of silk.

A gift from an unknown creator to a shrine, Karakenku learns under the guidance of a monk to maintain, pray, and dance within the shrine. His teacher passes away of natural causes eventually and Karakenku now maintains the shrine on his own, and does so dutifully. He adores festivals and dancing even more so, but he never leaves the shrine he serves, vowing to continue his master’s teachings ‘till the day he physically cannot continue.

He is over a hundred years old, and specializes in exorcising evil spirits. His special weapon is 'FeatherGate', He'll shoot a row of feathers that shoot out horizontally or vertically in the shape of a fan.

So. Um. I seem to have acquired a surprisingly large influx of new followers in the wake of that post on the GBBO's Feathergate . Hi. *waves*

It's been a good while since I've done one of these, so quick intro to who you've followed:

I'm Bobcat, been on the internet since sometime in the mid/early '90s. As you might expect, this means I'm quite possibly old enough to be some of y'all's mom. If you're uncomfortable with that, I will 900% not be offended if you unfollow me.

I use she/her pronouns, though won't throw a fuss if you use they/them. Current fandoms include Tokusatsu, Dracula Daily, and Les Mis, though I dabble a lot in other things and my interests are subject to change at any time I see something else shiny. You've probably already figured out that my Tumblr is just a mishmash of whatever I find interesting/amusing/feel like yelling about at the moment.

I've been going by Bobcat Moran and slight variations thereof on the net since about 2001, so if you see anyone going by that name, that's me. Due to my job and also just because I'm from an era when you did not give your IRL identity to anyone on the net (because everyone on the World Wide Web are ax murdering perverts, as I was repeatedly told), I keep my brickspace and cyberspace identities very separate.

okay I have to rewatch it again and look for clues to add to feathergate after I calm down but Sephiroth had that scene at the reactor from crisis core......they mentioned that the hooded figures (I can't remember their names rn I'm shaking) were SOLDIERs that were suffering from degradation..........

The feather represents jons parentage and neds promise to lyanna, and it dropping is symbolic of the parentage reveal where neds daughters will continue the promise to protect him and I think that’s beautiful
