Note-My characters may not be like the original dc universe as i haven't watched/read the dc universe .Everything i know is from many fanfics that i have read .hope y'all enjoy it.

Marinette had to go to Gotham. Now you would think why are we even talking about this well the thing is tom isn't her biological father he is her step dad. Well who is her biological father you ask none other than Bruce Wayne. And the problem you see is that till she was 5 she lived with her father but on her 6th birthday he dropped her at her mother's house and never returned.

6 year old Marinette thought her father hated her and that is why he didn't want her there. Marinette started living with her mother and found out that she liked it here in paris with her mother and step dad.

Now she is 22 a successful designer and singer known as MDC and Nettie and her dad (that is her legal guardian jagged stone)was doing a concert in gotham and wanted her to be there.Now you might ask how this happened. Well liela rossi happened,when she was in high school everyone liked her because of her personality and behaviour but then this liar came and started telling lies and her classmates the bunch of morons that they are believed the liar over their friend even though many of them knew her from childhood. they started ignoring her and calling her mean things. At first marinette was very hurt first her father and now her friends. The only one that knew that the liar was lying was her ex crush and he advised her to take the high road the coward that he was.

So after her ex moronic friends started ignoring her she had much free time and started her own bussiness at first she didn't have many customers as the website was started by a newbie but then jagged stone announced that his personal designer was MDC and thus her business started blowing/blossoming this was 4 years before.

Somehow her classmates got to her parents and worse they believed it and told her to leave their house as a bully and someone who had disgraced them wasn't their daughter . This was the last straw for Marinette as everyone she had loved had left her except her friend Luka, jagged stone and penny Jagged's assistance .Marinette packed her stuff there wasn't much as she had bought a studio after her business had skyrocketed so she took the few things she had and left as she was leaving Sabine and Tom looked at her and for the first time saw that Marinette wasn't showing any emotion and was wearing something which had no pink at all and her hair was in a french braid she left without saying anything.

After a month of leaving her home jagged returned to paris as he was doing a tour and when he asked mari where to come to collect his clothes she gave him a different address which wasn't the bakery now jagged didn't know about liela rossi as mari didn't want to burden him but as jagged care for marinette as a daughter he knew there was something amiss in her life and he was waiting for her to tell him what it was.

When he reached the address mari opened the door and let him in as he was looking around he saw there was a kitchen and a room and studio he asked her,"blueberry are you living here?"

"u-um yes i am" she replied looking nervous.

Honestly you'd be better off reading of the MANY adrien salt prompts or just a summary of one of the fics to get a better idea, I don't know why you would ask me in particular, but I will try to summarise the few points for you.

Usually a fanfic involving Adrien salt ends with Adrien losing the ring and being officiallry removed as Chat Noir, either because Ladybug gets fed up of him or he ends up in a situation that makes him lose the ring and get his identity exposed (usually being a result of his own salt-driven actions, though this depends on the author).

This oftentimes results in Adrien's reputation being tarnished, even more so than the flak Gabriel usually gets. I mean, one guy terrorised Paris for many years and the other told another girl to take the high road, but I guess the high road guy is somehow worse.

Assuming that the rest of the class isn't similarly villified, the class will also turn on Adrien for "siding with Lila" (this can be true sometimes, but this is usually Adrien recieving flak for not openly calling out Lila, usually out of a misplace belief that doing so won't help the situation.) Either way, the rest of the class will treat him like he was worse than Chloe for simply choosing to believe the best in Lila (though the reason will sometimes change with the author to better villify him)

This usually goes hand in hand with Gabriel being exposed, but because of his family having to bear the brunt of Gabriel being the villain, Adrien will lose EVERYTHING. His family's assets will be siezed (either to pay reparations for damage to Paris and its people or simply because they were Gabriel's) and the Gabriel brand will soon fall after as everyone leaves or it gets rebranded. This usually means that Adrien is left broke.

His extended family won't usually care either, usually because Felix ends up being Marinette's new "love interest" if Luka isn't chosen. They'll usually leave him high and dry once everything comes out.

Adrien won't be able to find work because of his ruined reputation. In ideal cases he can change his name and identity and go look for work abroad but in most cases he will be tracked endlessly, because somehow making a random bakery girl cry warrants that...

On the complete inverse, Marinette gets everything she ever wants because Marinette doesn't already have enough. She'll get the "perfect" boyfriend, "new friends" or her old friends will stick by her after kissing her feet, she gets her MDC brand and hell, she might even turn out to be a princess. Good idea for an author who wants to make Marinette even more of a Mari-Sue than she was in canon.

Meanwhile Adrien's life is so thoroughly tarnished that he's probably a moment away from breaking the rings containing his amok by himself (assuming he even learns the truth about being a sentimonster or the author wrote the fic before season 5).

Ok when Marinette and Adrien are 13 they get the miraculous, but in this world its because the snap just happened and the world needs all the balance it can get. Ladybug and Chat noir aren't active, they just need Plagg and Tikki to be away and out there.(Also Nooroo and Dusuu are in the secret lair, no one knows where they are, they are still missing)

Gabriel gets snapped, so there's no akumas. Adrien gets raised by his aunt, but they move to France because of Gabriel's business, there's not as many bad memories here(Emile just dies) and Felix needs to be away from the memories of his dads death.

(Also Adrien's aunt is slightly horrified to learn that Adrien only has one friend and so wants him to have more)

Flash forward 5 years, Adrien and Marinette are dating(less obsession because ladybug and chat noir aren't active and Marinette doesn't need to supress her bad emotions by focusing on her crush)

Adrien wants to become a baker or something, with modeling on the side to support his income.

Marinette has started taking commisions as MDC and is prepping to go to University for fashion design and bussiness.

Therefore when Gabriel returns, his wife is dead,(he couldn't have the magic sustain her if he was gone), his son has 'left him' and the world doesn't really care about Gabriel Designs.(Still exists, actually an ok fashion company, just went downhill for a bit after the Snap)

The only good thing is that the Ladybug and Cat miraculous are out there somewhere so he's going to get them and fix everything.

Continuing off my "Adrien loves to doodle..." HC, Marinette loves getting him new colors and replacing empty/used up supplies for his hobby. He goes through them faster than she does and she doesn't mind picking up a few things even if he insists that he can get them himself.

As LB and CN, they tend to take turns walking people home if they ever get into a situation (someone trying to assault them for instance) where they don't feel safe, where one of them is walking with the person and the other is on the roof keeping an eye out.

Whether she is in or out of the mask, Marinette will always jump to defend Chat Noir. He's not a villain, say that again and you'll see who you should really be scared of.

Adrien, in turn, whether or not he's wearing his mask, will jump to his Lady's side if people push her to do more. Stop pushing her to do your job, maybe if you'd help us/them, we'd get somewhere faster.

They play their version of Marco-Polo during patrol, which is literally just Ladybug going "Chat!" and Chat Noir going "Meow!"

Trash talk fashion shows, especially Audrey's after Gabriel shuts down (before it shut down they'd go after Gabriel hard).

One time they were late to an Akuma because Chat had decided to take a nap on Ladybug's lap. Alya caught the moment.

They have social media accounts for their hero IDs. Chat Noir has always leaned towards funny, wholesome and generally just random posts (in short, he's posting whatever he wants). Ladybug tries to keep things professional, but eventually she also begins to shift into a "I'm posting whatever I want" mindset. It's mostly pics of Chat Noir.

Marinette once got Adrien to transform into Mister Bug again so she could use him as a reference for body armor designs.
